Glass of water 24hrs, into paper towel 1 1/2” tap root. Pre-soaked root riot then into tent at 24.9c, light 20” and within five hours out they pop💪 Im not 💯 when to transfer to pots, sounds amateur even tho I’ve watched endless YouTube and read tons any tips🙏🏻
Roots coming through on both, I might transfer tomorrow 🤷♂️pretty sure I will. I think I may have mixed them up when I moved them 🤦lol. Day 10 transfer, bit nervous but got everything ready went really well. Bluelab truncheon brilliant. Sort of following the GHE feeding guide but been a bit cautious, kept the EC a bit low for obvious reasons. This is is just a new skill to try and master in a limited space but looking forward to it.
The air stones are very good and are on eBay, I’ve used the seller numerous times for my fish tanks. The temp/humidity sensor is excellent for £10 on eBay with a quality easy to use app, the system updates every 10 mins and records for 24hrs (I think) with alarms but is only Bluetooth but saves opening the tent. I’m going to do some top feeding as well. Ph rose a bit, shypon out a bit from the resovoir add ph down stir back in seems fine. I think I’ll mix up solution ph readied for 24hrs use a air stone for 24hrs and adjust ph accordingly seems the easiest way.
Everything ok critical looks a bit sad but the last three were the same. Top up every other day, roots coming through. Checking ec/ph every day hasn’t shifted very much at all probably due to such small does of nutes. Today (Sunday) flushed ,made up feed yesterday ph’d left air stone running 24 hrs adjusted ph again less fuss. Critical looks sad, Afgani okay. Roots really starting 😃on the Afghan and the critical has more side roots🤷♂️
Going well there starting to get thirsty. Checking ph/ec daily topping up more still gonna keep the nutes a bit low (not much) but see how it goes. Last two days really getting going.
Both have lots of roots maybe bit of nute burn earlier on the critical but last time it looked like it that and👍 ph,ec stayed pretty much bang on probably due to being a bit cautious. I’ve only flushed once, this coming Monday flush. I’ve read people flush every 1,2 weeks seems bit pointless if you’re keeping an eye on it. I just don’t want to over complicate things when there is no need. You can spot any problems quickly and deal with it. Day 31 flushed not Monday, put the scrog net up first time trying 🤞🏻see what happens. Both plants doing well just added the filter starting to smell a bit (I) don’t notice 😂
Topped Afghan, Critical not yet
Afghan seems to be loving it, Critical bit slow but not worried. Starting to get warm here so keeping an eye on it. I hope that I use the scrog okay otherwise 👍 day 38 switched 12/12
Kicking in know Afghan pretty stinky, ph dropped off a bit okay thou, ec staying bang on, they like a drink the main stem is like a trunk 👍
Afghan is taking over the critical but flowering wise looks a bit ahead. Temperature here has dropped a bit no biggy otherwise okay. Both started coming on nicely.
Been quite cold here so temperature been a bit low, Afghan is just like the Northern lights grow wise a lot different to the Critical but free seeds are free seeds 🤣.
Since first time DWC and a half hearted attempt at using a scrog not bad at all. Since I grew Critical before this was a strong sweet smell that took over. Overall happy with the results.
