I usually do a 18-24 hour seed soak, and then straight into soil to germinate. This time around, I decided to give Dr cocos method a go. So I did the scuffing, 3 hour seed soak, and then into paper towels in a container on a heat mat. I checked them this morning, and all but one had broken its shell. I won't be home this afternoon, so I decided to put them into the jiffy pellets a little early.
A week later, and we have 5 out of 8 seed planted, up and healthy. I'm not too sure what happened to the other 3, but I haven't gone digging about to check as of yet. I'll give a couple more days and see how they go.
Keeping the tent conditons at 22ยฐC and around 60RH.
Good luck, and positive vibes for all you other growers out there.
Keep an eye on those girls. I ordered the same pack from ILGM and one, out of the two I planted, grew into a boy. Removed and trashed him. Definitely seems like they are in preflowering stage and look great!
@BURN1, thanks for the heads up. One the the Blue Berry looks like it's herming on me, but the rest look fine so far. Did they herm on you or just turn out a straight male? And which strain?
@ETphonehome, thanks for the heads up, but im in Australia, so ยฐF is confusing to me. I will try and put both ยฐC and ยฐF from now on, as I understand a lot of people on here are from the states.
Amazing grow! Really good job dude! I wish you the best results with the most delicious buds!
Nice to see your journals! I will drop by some times to check your progress!
Feel free to come by and say hello!
Happy growing ๐ฅฆ๐คฉ
@Legendaryseedthumb,
Thanks heaps man. Only my 3rd harvest. Smallest yield, but best tasting, and most potent to date. I think I nailed the harvest time.
I made a fair few mistakes, but learning huge amounts.
All the best in your grows too.
