Barneys with The Mac

Slow and steady, but all four looking like healthy seedlings. A little bit of stretching of the stem on the Purple punch. Added some wire as a support. Misting the surface of the pots once or twice daily. My main concern is the root plug drying out quickly. Light is quite intense now under the main LED, so just letting them do their thing out of the way in the side of the tent. Ill update pictures in a day or two with them in natural light. The Mac 😎

All growing on strong, especially the Barneys strains. The K.O doesn't seem to be as strong yet, but sure she'll pick up. The Purple Punch which is a few days ahead of the others is lining herself up for a topping soon. I haven't introduced any harsh nutes yet. The seaweed and microbes in the soil are doing just fine for now. I recently learned the water quality in my local area is terrible. Unfortunately this has done some damage in other grows, however I will be using bottled spring water moving forward. This will be the last week I use honey in my solution, which is every other day currently. I also introduced 5ml per litre of fresh coconut water. 😉 Light water of solution, next day just water. Still keeping them out of the main beam of light. All looking good for now I hope 🤞 The Mac 😎

Purple Punch and Cookies Kush are growing on strong with no issues. Purple punch has been topped. This was my first attempt at topping so im hoping all is good. Both these strains have reacted well to the nutes I've given them every other watering and the Purple Punch still looks hungry. Once recovered from topping ill think about repotting these two ladies. Now the Phantom OG and the Knockout both have strange leaf growth. very thick and textured (see photo's) . Can anybody help please?? Topped the Phantom OG - 30/5 These two girls have just been given bottled spring water with a PH of 6 - 6.3 in an attempt to correct what i think is nutrient toxicity? The Mac 😎

So all the girls have been transplanted into 12 L fabric pots. SOIL BLEND - 12 litres of CANNA Terra Pro, 100 ml Ecothrive Charge, 90g Vitalink Bat Guano. Dusted rootzone with premium Mycoryzae (never can spell that) and transplant hole. Watered in with a special biology boosted tea (listed above). No nutes this week. Foliar spray each morning with the BIOBIZZ ActiVera. All the girls are topped, with the barneys strains bouncing back from any stress with ease. The phantom O.G still has the strange growth but is growing on very strong and seems to be recovering somewhat. The K.O by advanced Female is a freak. But i remember she was a freaky looking seed, and that's why I planted her. I've topped her as she was growing like a bean pole, so wait and see what happens. Think I'm going to veg these girls on and repot again into much larger pots and try and fill my space. The Barneys Runtz Auto makes an appearance in the pics as I didn't want to remove the plants after a stressful week. So my pics are not great, sorry. UPDATE - June-7 - Topped the four lower branches of the Purple Punch and Phantom O.G. Now waiting anxiously to see the results. Sprayed and watered with Acti-Vera. The Mac 😎

So its been a hot and humid week, luckily I've had it pretty much under control for these girls. Giving one litre of tea per pot every 3 days or so and will amp it up a bit this weekend will a little veg nutes and calmag if they look hungry. The foliar feed of ActiVera does wonders I think. Ive topped, medium stress trained and tidied up the lower 3rd of the plants to try and direct the energy into the tops. Purple punch and Phantom seem to be loving life at the moment as does the Cookies. Long may it continue 🙏 Now the K.O is sick or a genetic fuck up so she's quarantined and got knocked out of this diary. Barneys power all the way 👊 So these girls are getting veged on into further bushy glory. I like my weed 80's porn style..... Bushy! Once I'm satisfied with their growth ill flip them over and take the three beauties to finish 😍😜 The Mac 😎

Strong growth from all the girls this week. The Cookies takes much longer to recover from any stress so I've let her be. However the Phantom and purple punch are turning into jungles, so I've topped a couple more times and I'll be flipping them to 12/12 today (23/6) The purple punch has some pre flowers showing so its time. Not hammering nutes. Only giving the tera vega and calmag every 10 days. I've got good soil, good microbes and amino's etc. I've brewed some worm tea with the acti Vera, seaweed and mollases, helped along with a scoop of Biosys. Although in veg these ladies have a good strong aroma to them allready. The Mac 😎

No nutes this week, just tea with above ingredients, once. Water and fish shit most days. Signs of flowering after flipping lights last on day of last weeks update. Further update later The Mac 😎

Still had issues with high humidity, luckily a new 10 ltr dehumidifier should be delivered today, so I can start to manage that properly. Put some netting up. Not sure how much use it'll be but hopefully it'll offer some support to all those heavy buds that I'll be seeing🤞 🙏 Gave the tops of the pots a quick amendment and no direct NPK from the bottle, wasn't required due to the marine phytoplankton I used in last week's brew up. Hats off to Marphyl. 🎩👌 So I dressed with 30 ml bat guano, 100 ml worm casts, mixed in with the leftover CANNA Pro Soil. I also sprinkled some mycoryzae powder onto the surface of the roughed up soil to encourage new root growth. 🦇👍🌿 This was watered in with the Biosys microbe tea and Fish Shit 🐟🍵🐠 The aroma is very appealing in there. The Cookies is the shortest of the three Barneys girls, but has huge leaves and a pungent smell. The Phantom and the Purple Punch are huge bushes with lots of tops. The phantom is showing some leaf mutations, but nothing to worry about as this plant is flying and bursting with bud sites. 🌿🤩 UPDATE - 13/7 - Installed a 10ltr compressor dehumidifier into the room along with an additional oscillating fan on the floor of the tent. Serious improvements made here, as humidity was becoming an issue. Another perk is i get lots of recycled water that is much better quality than from my tap. 👍 UPDATE 2 - 15/7 - Been using the recycled water from the dehumidifier, PH to 6, for the last few watering's. I notice it requires much less PH down than my tap water. I think this is due to the lack of calcium and magnesium. They will get another plain water tomorrow, in order to get them ready for the fortnightly brew up in the bucket. Girls are sucking up their pots each day as they go into serious stretch mode and burst with flower tops. The Mac 😎

One really hot and sweaty week. Fans and dehumidifier on full power 24/7 and working hard to maintain a satisfactory environment. Only proves there are often variables which are out of our control. The girls where given the following ingredients 3 days before the photographs above. 8 litres dechlorinated water 8 ml liquid kelp 100 ml Marine phytoplankton 8ml Biobizz Acti-Vera 2 cups worm castings 40 ml Ecothrive Charge 8 ml Ecothrive Biosys 40 ml Vitalink bat guano 8ml Fish Shit 1 TBS Black mollases AERATED FOR 24 HOURS I then gave a plain watering for two days followed by a light feed from the bottled Biobizz nutes. Focusing more on the stimulants. Plants are sucking up their pots each day and the stretch is slowing. I'll be monitoring how much they're consuming and may add some mulch. Had a minor panic early on the week that could of resulted in a bust. Hopefully that's in the rear view mirror now and we have another good update next week. The Mac 😎

Girls have had one feed from the bottle midweek and a nutrient tea today (Monday 26/7) containing Marphyl Marine Phytoplankton 150 ml Bat guano 50 ml Worm casts 1.5 cups ECOTHRIVE CHARGE 30 ml ECOTHRIVE BIOSYS 5 ml BIOBIZZ ACTI VERA 6 ml BIOBIZZ BIO HEAVEN 6 ml Coconut water 50 ml Black mollases 2 tbsp I increased the potassium in the brew up as the stretch is slowing right down and the buds are doing there thing. So I want to direct the energy to the ends of the plants now. I was going to use CANNA PK13/14 but I've held back for now. I plan to give them water and a midweek calmag before one dose of the PK nearer next weekend. The cookies is a little bit behind due to some extra stress caused by me. A big stupid bollocks 😭 The purple punch smells like... Purple punch, is as sticky as fuck and frost is showing nicely already. Buds are starting to form colas 👍😁 The Phantom O.G is bursting with bud sites and looks more like it'll produce golf ball type nugs instead of long colas. But we shall see. Humidity is still a bitch. As is the heat, but overall I think I'm handling it OK so far. I can't back the lights off any more, hope I don't stress them to much, but it could be inevitable. So this week it's mostly all good, but things can change like the weather. I'm still feeling really positive. This far into things and Barneys are showing their class and quality. The room stinks and the plants are as terpy as fuck allready. The Mac 😎

Humidity has still been a little higher than I would like. Especially at night. Even with a dehu and fans on full the tent can reach high 60s. I've changed the position of the oscillating fan to increase airflow through the canopy. There has been no heavy defoliation, just plucking a few leaves blocking bud sites each day. I've also used plant ties to try and manouvere outer buds into more intense light. I'm realising my light could be a limiting factor in terms of yield. Although it claims to be a 1000 watts. I think it's more like 150. I may invest in another before harvest. Nutrients this week consisted of the CANNA PK 13/14 for three feeds, along with regular nutrients. The plants response was imidiete, with the Purple Punch and Phantom OG seemingly going into over drive. The PP is forming pine tree shaped buds and the Phantom producing golf ball solid nugs, starting to climb the stems. The Cookies is a we bit behind the others and the bud sites and growing as fast. But frost production is through the roof. So an unpredictable lady here. Ran out of Fish Shit, which is a twat because its fuuucking mega shit mate 💯. See you next week The Mac 😎

Slightly more defoliation this week. PURPLE PUNCH - buds are getting much bigger and starting to fill with mass. I will increase the nutrients again slightly this week. Very sweet smell. Probably looking like the best yield wise. PHANTOM OG - appears to be finishing faster than expected. Gave her last feed 8/8 and will begin flushing now. Think there will be a lot of small buds and would of been better topping her just the once or twice. Still looking and smelling like it's gonna be a top smoke. COOKIES - Behind in flower and has only just started to produce bud. Although trichome and oil production seems super high. I have given all the girls a brew with ecothrive charge, bat guano, seaweed and mollases in order to keep the small ampnth of medium in the pots good. Had anothet serious security alert with Mrs Mac becoming the Ex-Mrs Mac. Bitch has gone Co Co loco. I let her know any talking and I'll be dropping her sex toys into her work. Started to flush the Phantom on the 9th. Letting her go a bit more if possible. All cloudy trichs, no Amber. Others are coming along beutifully Can tell the terp levels have dropped since I ran out of fish shit. Definitely need more for the next run. Security has come on top for The Mac and I'm having a heart attack 24/7. Dreading a battering ram through the front door to be honest, hope to update next week. 😬 The Mac 😎

I'm just flushing now, now more feeds. The purple punch is yellowing nicely and will be ready for the cut in the next few days. Smells and looks delicious 😍 Cookies hasn't yielded to much due to the damage and stress I caused her in flowering. But trichomes are through the roof. I won't get a lot, but this looks like damn fine weed. 👍 That KO in the pics from Advanced Female seeds is very strange. Smells of lavender and lemons. Not much hash but extremely terpy, solid bud. The plant displayed some strange leaf mutations and didn't yield or stack out to heavy. I may have underwatered or my light not strong enough.

GOT RAIDED!!! Returned home to find police all over my flat. Been grassed up by the ex. Waited for them to go and they hadn't been in the bedrooms. I manged to stash it in my car and get the place cleared before they came back. I drove cross country to my mates house, dried it and drove back 5 days later 😂😂😂 I'm a fucking legend The Mac 😎

Plant grew some of the nicest weed I've ever smoked. Shame about the raid.
