Tangerine Dream Auto

Gewroo Started with two, year old GC seeds left over from previous grow. Both germinated but like grow before this, one of two failed to grow. So, I'm growing one plant again. I'm thinking that reusing my soil is not such a great idea.

Gewroo It appears to be thriving. I was worried for a bit. :)

Gewroo Big growth spurt last week. Top of soil staying damp and looks a little green. Fungus gnats have arrived.. Ugh.

Gewroo It seems to be coming along nicely so far. Still a few fungus gnats to deal with. Some of the bottom leaves were resting on the the soil so I trimmed them off.

Gewroo Big growth spurt this week. Leaves are huge! Still seeing the damn gnats. I have dimataceous earth but its practically worthless as it goes on a a powder but absorbs moisture from soil and turns into cement.

Gewroo Lots of growth. Compared to my first grow with TD, This plant is taller and less filled out. This is slightly bigger pot and bigger tent and I expected more girth but so far, it seems less. No signs of flowering just yet.. Kind of surprised there too. Water use going way up. Looks like gnat population reduced also..

Gewroo Still growing like crazy. Shocked it's not flowering yet. This is supposed to be an auto. Otherwise healthy, gnats under control I think. Soil has settled dramatically and seems kind of low. Trying to get on a 3 day watering schedule. Starting to really use up water now. I just need plant to be self sufficient over the weekends.

Gewroo Still growing but not flowering. Not sure what's going on here but I'm switching to a 12 Hour light schedule 10am=10pm. These are supposed to be autos but the my last grow with these same seeds flowered in 5 weeks and yet here I am starting week 8 in veg mode. If this particular seed is a photo after all, it should start flowering on this new light schedule. All in all, I've purchased 6 seeds (two different strains) from Grower's Choice. I've attempted to grow plants from 5 so far. 2 seeds germinated but failed to produce viable plants. 3 have resulted in successful harvests. This one now is looking good but I have doubts its actually an auto. I have one seed left. Maybe time to look at a different seed supplier.

Gewroo It spent all week with lights 12/12 and still no flowering. Growing like crazy though. Not sure what the deal is. I may try lights off completely for 48 hours if no flower this week. Not sure what else to do but wait.

Gewroo Woohoo! Growing like crazy and finally flowering. Everything looks good and I have started trimming the fan leaves. I'm no expert but the top looks like its going to produce like crazy.

Gewroo Still growing. Looks pretty good too. Buds starting and looks like will be fairly filled in. I've started trimming fan leaves and most of big (early) fan leaves are gone. Still lots of new, smaller ones to go but I'll take my time and trim for best light exposure. No other problems really. I'm fairly certain these are autos as advertised and me switching the lights from 18 hours to 12 hours did nothing. It was still a couple more weeks to flower and was probably just going to take 9 weeks to flower for some reason anyway. What I'm wondering is.... Should I switch my lights back to 18 hours?

Gewroo Still coming along nicely. Buds starting to fill in on main branch....looks very promising. I've been trimming but I'm never sure how much at any given stage of growth. I think it needs a little more opening up at the bottom.

Gewroo Still going. Buds are filling in nicely. Wish I had definitive guide to trimming. At this point I'm just trimming (cutting off) the lower fan leaves and working my up as the buds fill in.

Gewroo Still making buds. It's more filled in and I have trimmed the crap out of it. Its still needs to fill in more and it appears that there will be a lot of larf. I'm thinking another week or two to harvest.

Gewroo Quiet week. I think this plant is done. Filled out a tad but was hoping for bigger buds. I'll let this go a few more days and probably chop it down. Trichomes look milky with an amber one here and there..
