Hello. This is my Mega Mouth Diary. I don't care for the name. It should be Mega Mango because that is the supposed taste. -Description> A cross of 3 exotic strains. Heavy yields (especially outdoors) high THC, mold and disease resistant, suitable for cooler climates, as well as being hardy. Good strain for the outdoor commercial grower. -Aroma> Sweet and sugary ,with a hint of berries. -Flavor> Sweet Mango with a hint of nutmeg Feminized 75% Indica Indoor/Outdoor 8-9 Weeks Faster flowering 9-10 Weeks Slower flowering Early October Indoors 400-450g/m2 : Outdoors Up to 650 g/plant Indoors 70 to 80 cm: Outdoor 80 to 140cm 22% + THC 1.1 CBD Hawaiian 25% Nepalese25% Afghani 50% Medical -yes- stress relief, insomnia, depression, headaches Beginner strain Relaxing, narcotic, energizing, cerebral, euphoric Easy to grow. -DIY Clone Machine> I made a air stone clone machine as you can see in the pictures. I filled the rubber maid container full of water and plugged in the air bubblers and left it with the top cover on. I tried to cover it to avoid the midday sun, but forgot one day and they got a little burnt. I'll try it with the cover off next time. I topped up the water twice, and in 13 days I had roots. WOW this is much easier than the peat puck method : ) -The plants are still in training and I hope to start flowering around June 1st and harvest around Aug 15. The tent really helps to cut out the neighbors lights and I can keep my plants in veg with lights and not bother my neighbors. The lights come on at 5 am and I turn them off when I open the tent at 8 am. The same at night after closing up the tent around 8 pm, I turn the lights on till 11pm. It's a bit of work but it gives me some exercise and I don't mind doing that for the plant I love to grow. Chuck.

Hello. The plant are all doing great. I added about 1/2 gallon of compost to each plant and watered it in. They are filling in their area nicely. I'm harvesting my main grow room today, so I thought I better get this diary out of the way. Cheers. Chuck.

Hello. Things are going good in the greenhouse this week. The plants are still in training and are being held down and pushed outwards. From the compost I put in last week I've been pulling up lots of sprouted tomato seedlings. My wife doesn't like the slimy seed sack 😝of the tomato's and throws it in the compost. Oh well, what can you do eh.😏 >The plant are filling in their area nicely. I'll switch to 12/12 next week and hopefully harvest in 10 weeks, around Aug 15 >The clones are taking off nicely. Even the ones that got a bit burnt have new growth on them. >Sweet Seeds sent me some free seeds for future diaries. I saw their add on the private chat section and sent in my email to [email protected] They gave a list of about 10 auto seeds and 4 fem seeds. I picked 3 of the fem seeds. The Black Jack is award winning and I've been wanting to try Zkittlez too. And Gorilla Girl is sativa dom. At least I can clone the fem seeds and I don't have to buy fem seeds each time I grow. I don't care for autos. It was about 20 years ago that I tried Mighty Mite and Mighty Mite x Super Skunk and couldn't get them to clone. And then when some clones took they just started to flower and finished about 2 weeks after the mother. I said to myself that I don't want to grow anything with ruderalis in it again. It's just my opinion that , I don't want any ruderalis in my Cannabis please. Till next week. Chuck.

Hello. >I'll be switching over to flowering tomorrow. With the tent in the greenhouse I control the light cycle. And why wouldn't you want to flower when the light is the strongest. >The only battle is with the heat. I often have to put up shade cloth on the greenhouses but I only put it up when I need it. >Everything else is going great in the greenhouse. The plants have almost filled their area and will need some pruning in the upcoming weeks. I'll set up the watering system next week so the plants will get a little nutrient solution each day. >Lots to do today. Finish my Purple Paralysis diary and start my Dos Si Dos #33 diary. So that's all for now. Chuck.

Hello. I've switched over to flowering on June 1. I've hooked up the water lines and set up the15 gallon reservoir so the plants can get some nutrient each day, on hot dry days they get more and on wet days they get less. I will also water by hand if the pots seem dry. The clones I took about a month ago are doing good. I noticed a few white spots caused by thrips on one plant. I'll have to spray with insecticidal soap soon. Little bastards. Because I switched to flowering, I took clippings of all the plants and filled up my DIY clone machine. I just need one clone from each plant until I decide which plant wins and if I want to carry the strain on. I can't think of anything else. Till then. Chuck.

Hello. I've found thrips on the clones that I had in the greenhouse, so I did a check on the big plants and found some more thrips. Nasty little buggers. Now I'm not sure if I have them in the main grow room because, when I turned the greenhouse over to flower I took some cuttings and ran my DIY clone machine in the garage with some lights not knowing about the thrips. So I got online and found Captains Jacks Spinosad, shipped from the USA I hope it gets here and not stopped at the boarder. Our local company that sells Spinosad in Canada (Spinosad has been passed by Health Canada and can be sprayed on commercial cannabis crops)said they can't sell me any because I don't have a commercial pest license.😠 So I made my own. I took a sprayer and put in a large teaspoon of Pyrethrin Insecticide Power and a large teaspoon of Diatomaceous Earth with some dish soap and sprayed everything top and bottom. I used Raid in the garage and cloning area. So when you look at the pictures you can see some leaves with white edges from the spray. Hope that slows them down till the Spinosad gets here. Everything else went well this week. The plants are growing well and looking good. I did some defoliation this week to get most of the trips out. The plants responded well and are already showing flowers. Till next week. Chuck.

Hello. I have not seen any thrips this week and I've spent some time looking. I think what I sprayed last week helped to knock then down. According to my computer I get my Spinosad delivered today. I was reading about gardening this week and they mentioned nematodes and I said to myself how could I forget about the nematodes. Once in the soil they eat any pest they come across. So I called my local gardening store and ordered some. I think I might wait till the nematodes arrive and use them instead of the Spinosad. The plants are looking and growing great. I did my first full flush yesterday. It was hot for around here the last few days so I thought I might cool the roots down a bit to help with heat stress. I can see the resin starting to form and the plants look like they are going to form big tight buds. I think next week I'll have been with Grow Diaries a year now. I joined last year in the forth week of flowering in the greenhouse with Amnesia Lemon. Something weird happened last night to me. I had just closed up the greenhouse and did a little bit of weeding and then wandered out front to check the cars before retiring for the night. I looked across the street and said hi to a neighbor walking her dog and she said "Hi Chuck" when a older man who was just walking by and said "Hi Chuck. Do you know who I am. He looked familiar, but when he said is name I knew who he was. Someone I was friends with an long time ago and had partied with many times in my young adult life. He had just gone for a walk after supper and thought he would walk a different way for a change. He doesn't look like he use to and neither do I, so to have him there just as the neighbor said my name is just weird. Makes me think that maybe some unfinished karma has yet to happen. So we exchanged phone numbers and sat on my back patio for a couple of hours reminiscing and telling each other what we had done with our lives. It was great to see him again, but weird circumstance to come together. I hadn't seen him in 37 years. Till next time. Chuck.

Hello. Wow! The hottest its ever been around here. New temp records were/are set across the province with a new all time new Canadian record set in Litton B.C. at +47. C. It wasn't quite so hot in the greenhouse though. only 39 C and 25% RH. I watered with cold water (as cold as it got out of the tap. And it was 22 C.) each afternoon to cool the roots down some. I had 4 fans running through the day and 6 at night to try to cool the floor (a cement slab) down some. The plant have been taking the heat well I didn't see any drooping leaves. This coming week will be a bit cooler with temp predicted 25 to 30 C. Yeahhh! This is my 1 year anniversary of being with Grow Diaries. My grow room isn't that big so I like to pick a strain and grow 4 or 5 seeds and pick out the best one and clone it. It makes the seeds so much cheaper than having to buy new seeds each time you start like with autos. I'm just amazed at how some growers have done 50 or 60 diaries in a year and a half. That's a lot of work and dedication. Well done. Chuck.

Hello. There are 2 rental houses behind our property and I've been concerned in past years about being ripped off. So I thought a baby monitor would give me more of a secure feeling being able to monitor the greenhouse while eating meals and to have it on while I sleep. It has infrared red light for night vision but I don't know how that will affect the plants in the dark if I put right in the grow tent. The plant are growing great and getting heavy already and we still have 5 weeks to go. I found a large bud vertical yesterday when I walked in. So I had to spent a couple of hours tying up the bigger buds. I got 1/2 the table and I will do the other 1/2 today or tomorrow. I sprayed the soil with Spinosad again to get the spores into the soil so they can come in contact any insect larva and latch on and grow. I'm still waiting for the nematodes to arrive. I imagine the Bug Lady is very busy this time of year so it might be a few more weeks before I see them. I haven't seen any powdery mildew in the garden this year so far. These plants are supposed to be mold resistant anyway. We had a hot spell a few weeks ago and a temperature of over 40* C will kill the spores. But it's always good to keep these type of things in the back of your mind so you can be prepared when it happens. Till next week. Chuck.

Hello. Please read week 1 for the plant description It's been a quite week round here.. Just the normal type of cannabis growing week. I noticed that some of the leaves are going yellow a little earlier than I would like so I gave each plant about an 1/8 of a cup of Blood/Bone meal 7/7/0 and watered it in. I didn't want to give too much nitrogen at this point in flowering, but just a little so the plant will stop feeding on itself and turning it's leave's yellow to soon. I came across some very aggressive white powdery fungus/mold on one bud of plant #1. As I examined it I saw that it wasn't the normal powdery mildew that I had been battling here for years. This had a white circle and was domed. One on the domes had dislodged a few mm and stuck there. Another had a small tendril growing out of it across the leaf and off the edge a bit. I just happened to have experience with this one. About 6 years ago I was over at a buddy's and he had a Super Kush by B.C.S.C. growing a few feet away from his humming bird feeder. He said I could take a few clippings. I put them in water overnight and was going to clone in the morning. In the morning I found this white fungus/mold on several leaves. I cut the leaves off and worried over the next few weeks as the plant was forming roots that the fungus would return. It never did return and the white stuff I found this week has not returned yet either. The bud that was affected was right under the roof vent and I have lots of hummingbird flowering plants and shrubs around the house and one probably pooped as it flew over the greenhouse. Seeing how they eat sweet sugar water and nectar with some insect proteins thrown in, they must have some powerful stomach bacteria in their tummies. I plan to flush the first 2 weeks of August and harvest around the 15. Till then. Chuck.

Hello. this is week 7 of flowering. It's been a quite cannabis growing week. I have a 15 gallon reservoir so the plants get 15 minutes of nutrient solution each day. That is just shy of 3 gallons for 5 plants each day. I also hand water. Each plant gets 1 1/2 gallons of municipal water every 2 days. If it's hot I can give more water. I try to have some run off of water once a week to avoid nutrient lockout. I had to tie up more buds this week. And this strain sure has smelly and sticky resin. I did some trimming around 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon and could still smell and feel it on my fingers at 6 p.m. I see some fungus gnats around but I don't see a lot of damage from them on the plants. My Health Canada, Medical Marijuana License arrived this week.😃 I can have 244 plants on my property. I won't need that much cuz I can grow pretty good. I'm thinking about adding 2 5x5 tents to the garage and will get 1 Mars light and 1 Spider light. One of those will be for veg. Then I can use my current clone/seedling cupboard to make feminized males and make my own seeds.😉 I'm thinking about making a diary about how I make my RSO (Rick Simson Oil) with light naphtha. I'm asking you, if you think that would be of use to anyone on this web site, to help them make their own medicine. I've finished my first round of RSO and will make my next batch this week. Till next week. Chuck.

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 It's been a quite week. There is a few more yellow leaves than I think there should be for the end of week 7 in flowering. It's been 25* c to 33* c day time temp in the greenhouse this week no wonder there is a few more yellow leaves. I start flush next week for 2 weeks. This strains description said 10 weeks to finish but I think some of these plants could be cut down soon. I don't mind overripe cannabis so I'll finish the 10 weeks for all the plants. I made more Rick Simpson Oil this week. What a long process. It took most of the day. I got 140 g of oil from 1 lb. of cannabis. I tried to make a diary of it, but I know I could do better job. The camera I used ran out of juice and I grabbed another and forgot to turn on the sound. The wind got so strong at points it drowned out my voice. I'll put up what I made in a couple of weeks. after editing and subtitles : ) Till next week. Chuck.

Flushing. 100 mll
Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9. I started flushing yesterday. With this heat around here they were fairly dry and took a lot of water but there was 5 gallons of run off water in the barrel when I was done flushing. A few days ago I picked all the dead and crumpled leaves off. there was a 1/2 bucket when I was done. Plant's #3 and # 1 are finished and could be cut down now but I will flush for 2 weeks more. Plants #2 and #4 will be finished soon. Plant #5 is the only plant that will be ready at 10 weeks. I took some Taster/Tester clippings yesterday. They will be able to tell me which clones I will want to keep and which can go. I'll talk about me for a bit. At the end of my Purple Paralysis diary I had a swollen tonsil removed and it was sent away to be tested. The test said it was cancerous and the tumor was right up to the edge of the cut so they (the cancer doctors) want to cut more of the area around where the tonsil was and give me radiation to kill the cancer virus. The thing is, I've had 3 tests done: a CAT scan. The one they inject you with radio active isotopes that stick to the cancer and the magnetic imaging test. All tests have showen No Cancer in the upper part of my body. I'm over 60 now and have read about this guy helping people with cancer and said to myself if I ever get cancer I'll try this Rick Simpson Protocol. So I'm on my 2nd batch of RSO. The doctors don't think the cannabis oil will work and still want me to have surgery and radiation but I'm holding my ground and have told them, you get the same rules as I give the dentist. If you can't show me on a test or x-ray what the problem or cavity is I'm not going to let you do anything. With faith and hope I'm putting my life into the cannabis oil treatment. The doctors will see me every 3 months and check my neck for lumps and put a camera down my nose and throat hoping to see something they can cut out and make some big medical bucks (You know the comic The doctor says to the nurse "This will pay for my kids braces") They will consider the cancer dead after 5 years. Wish me luck. Chuck.

Hello. Wow! There has been a lot of color changing going on here. I'll be harvesting in 6 days. I've flushed 3 times so far and I will do 1 more flush before harvest. I had a extra #2 clone and put it in the garden, where I harvested the onions. I wanted to test for powdery mildew and pest resistance. I took some tester/taster clippings and they will be dry in a few days. Nothing else for this week. Have Fun. Chuck.

9.5 Stars Hello. This is a review for Mega Mouth Cannabis seeds. I got these seeds free with my order. In the strain description (in week 1) it said pest and disease resistant so I thought this strain would be great for the greenhouse. I started the seeds in February and took the seedlings out to the greenhouse in March when it was warmer. I had lights to keep the strain in veg till June 1st when I switched over to flowering. With a 10foot x 10foot grow tent inside the greenhouse I was able to control the light and humidity. After 10 weeks, I harvested on Aug 16. WOW!!! I'm very impressed with strain. What a good producer of strong, dense/hard, crystal covered buds. Most of the plants had uniformed growth and finished about the same time except for plant #5 which had a little more sativa in it and finished a week later than the others. The overall smell in the greenhouse while it grew was a fruity/floral skunky strong smell I could easily detect from across the yard. WOW!! What big flowers you have. 4 of the 5 plants had dense indica type buds and finished in 7 to 9 weeks. Plant #5 was still flowering when I harvested. Plants 1,2,3and 4 have THC levels around 20 to 22% but plant #5 is a little stronger, about 24%. My wife said after trying #5 "It slapped my in the face and made my legs wobbly". Trimming up: 3 plant were easy to trim up and 2 were medium. I use the trim to make tincture. Taken twice a day it got rid of my arthritis a 10 years ago. Overall I was very impressed with this strain. I had fun watching as the buds kept growing and growing. Each plant had more then 10 oz. of premium buds..😃

Hello. I've harvested the Mega Mouth. WOW!!! I'm very impressed with this strain. Over 1.5 k for 5 plants. and it was finished by Aug 20 with the tents help. I'm trying some new (for me) categories to add to my report. Plant Stretch (PS) 1 to 5- 1 is hardly any stretch. Bud Mutation (BM) 1 to 5- 1 is a beautiful normal bud- 5 is big weird growths like foxtails. Trim- How easy or hard it was to trim up 1- you blow on the branch and hang it up. 5- Is very hard to trim takes a long time. About- Best guess on the THC % (I've been smoking a long time) Resin- 1 is super slippery 5- is very sticky like Gorilla Glue. Size of Buds (SOB) 1- is very small 5- is the biggest buds Dense- 1- is the lightest or fluffiest 5- is the rock hard buds your bud buster has trouble busting up. Plant #1 Wet Trim 1647 g PS. 3.5 BM 3.5 Trim 4 About 21% Resin 4 SoB 4 Dense 4 Finished Dry Weight 289.5 g or 10.33 oz. Plant #2 Wet trim 1606 g PS 3,5 BM 3.9 Trim 4 About 22% Resin 3 SoB 4.7 Dense 4.3 Finished Dry Weight- 302 g or 10.78 oz. Plant #3 Wet Trim 1635 g PS 3.7 BM 3 Trim 2.8 About 20% Resin 2.8 SoB 3.7 Dense 4.5 Finished Dry Weight- 314 g or 11.21 oz. Plant #4 Wet Trim 1753 g PS 2.5 BM 2.5 Trim 3 About 22% Resin 4 Falls off easily- Clumpy Dense 2.5 Final Dry Weight- 343.5 g or 12.26 oz. Plant #5- Wet Trim 1787 g PS 3.5 BM 3.7 Trim 3 About 24% Resin 2.5 Dense 2.5 Finished Dry Weight- 355.5 g or 12.69 oz. The taste is sweet and smooth to go down with a nice balanced buzz. There was some pests around. I found thrips damage in veg and got some Spinosad to take care of that. Saw some fungus gnats around but they didn't do much damage. Easy to grow and trim. This is a recommended strain. Chuck.

Mega Mouth Mango sounds good Chuck, I'll also have to get around to making one of those DIY turbo clone tubs. Good work Buddy 👍

@Ned_Grows, Hello Beard Brother. My wife likes my beard too, and has asked me to never shave it off. Thanks for your support. With the clone machine the air pump was the biggest expense. I bought a new air pump for this and my main grow room air pump craped out. So I put the new one in grow room and dug out my last used air pump for the DIY clone machine and it worked great. Chuck.

Plants are looking good my Bearded Brother 👍, thats good you got some free seeds to try out even if they are just auto's but yes I agree with you about the ruderalis they can keep that and also the feminised insest crap too I'll take the regular seeds they have the best genetics 👌

Chucky324commented4 years ago
@DoDrugs420, Yeah! It's looking good. I'll take some testing material just before I flush (I flush after my 8th week is done) so I've got an idea which is the strongest one and what the strength is, oh and taste too. Mmmm, Mango. Chuck
