This week the plant is exploding. It's very satisfying to see it expand this quickly. I started feeding it a small amount of growth nutrients. While it's growing rapidly in horizontal directions, it does seem a bit slow to expand vertically. Whether this is a problem or not I am not sure. I'm considering moving away from a 24 hour light schedule. While I see a lot of promise in topping plants, for my first grow I want to keep things as simple as possible and just get a healthy plant to maturity. New leaves are looking healthy, which makes me optimistic about the damage to the first leaves. Will just let it be for now.
