Fuck Nathan got its name from Sugar black rose that was in the 2021 cultivators cup. A judge gave it a bad score and didnt explain why. So this cross between SBR and BG is what I hope is the answer to a better score from Nathan.
Much faster growth this week. Things are really starting to take off. Lots of new growth at the lower nodes its trying to bush out as much as I will let it.
This week was fun I had to defoliate her again got a bunch of good leaves for the morning smoothies. Has a nice sour taste I hope will be in the end product. Oh she started to yellow a little bit saying I need more food. Gave her some nitrogen should see a change in a few days.
Very humid week. it wanted to stay in the high 80s but LVPD was in the .4 - 1.2 up kPa range that I like to keep it in. The yellowing from needing more nitrogen is getting annoying. Its been getting almost 1000ppm nitrogen every three days.
The end of this week I think is when I'm going to flower her under 16h of light. The timer was not setup and has been running 24 h so I might as well flower under 16 so she will continue to grow under extended hours of light.
Not much change in the color but a lot of leaf growth I had to trim the lower leaves again and son other stuff got removed. The humidity is the same as the temperature most days.
What a crazy week. I took a pound or so of leaves off this thing. For hella days I thought it wasn't doing anything just growing roots, but no it was growing leaves under leaves.
Look at her flower. Already she is looking like I can get 1/4oz off of her and this is the first stages of flowering. I really think this is going to be a big harvest.
Starting the end of nutrients. The days are going in reverse. For the rest of this grow I'm only going to be using water. This soil did a great job the feedings were very spread out. Not every 7 days it was more like 12-14. I used a gallon to water and most of the time it was just water. I did add too much phosphorus before flowering and it pissed off the plant so I flushed it.
Growing took a long time. She had to be defoliated 3 times I think because of how bushy she is. I didnt notice much smell and thats what the blue glue does. 117 days from seed. I need to back cross it with rose and try to get some of those smells to come out of hiding. Blue glue didn't have buds this size and rose didint either. I have no idea what the high is going to be like yet.
I really need to try this plant again oitside it had so much potential to be a monster. Having to limit its growth sucked . this is a great plant to grow stealth. I bet you could have it in apartment with cops as neighbors and no one would know. I didn't give it a chance to get tall but the way it was growing you can tell it could be in 7 foot size. She is a very sturdy bitch.
@Canna96, when the plant had the first set of leaves growing in an insect had a meal out of it. That crazy thing going on with the leaf is just how the plant recovered
