July 16: started force flowering and will continue (9 pm to 9 am) until the end of July. July 19: increased fish dose to back up to 4 mL/L. Also watered all plants with Megacrop to provide N as they’re all too yellow.

Sep 7: Nice and sunny the last few days which is good for the trichomes. Sep 11: noticed bud rot just starting in one of the top colas. It was immediately excised like the cancer it is and carefully removed from the grow area so that spores can’t spread. Shears decontaminated using H2O2 and gloves changed.

Nice enough strain but photoperiods are a hassle for me this far North. This plant didn’t get much bigger than most of the autos despite having lots of time to develop. Taste is good.

You can try adding solar at night or grow 24hr veg indoors then when u get 14 hours late summer puttem outside. You can try 24 hr dark period too before. Basically instead of from seed u get them used to a lot of light. You may want to checkout ethephon foliar it will makem finish faster too.

@Northern_Ent, there's no such thing.

@GYOweed, hey yeah I know it’s all life, but you’re talking to an environmental engineer so I think that way. Cheers.

@Northern_Ent, there's no such thing as a co2 footprint or anything. Science is not politics. Co2 is NOT pollution and increase the size of all c3 plants. Those are facts. Cheers

You cut off the veg cycle early to force it to flower, but do not give yourself the credit for it's small stature. Starting it late in the year, results in smaller plants. Cutting off the veg time, results in smaller plants. Nowhere do you blame yourself, which is the only place to put the blame. Must be the breeders fault for your mistakes.
Northern_Ent
Northern_Entcommented3 years ago
@GeOMaTTiC, huh? I don’t quite follow what you’re saying. I need to force flower photoperiods this far North and I was complaining how this plant was no bigger than my autos. If not forced, it would have continued to veg and got much bigger, but the buds would not have finished in time. Not a mistake but a necessary choice. These seeds were a bit late in arriving so it was started a bit later than in an ideal situation. Outdoor is easy in some respects but harder in others. Cheers.
