So... welcome back! Last week was rather uneventfull. Just the way I like it. They are all getting more substance though. The middle one is more leafy, the two outer ones are more developed and although the biggest buds are maybe only the size of a lighter. Most buds have filled out with calixes and only little leaves. They are dense and compact.
The smell is getting heavier. When close to the buds it reminds of expensive herbal perfumes like Rabane. I distinctly have a 'hug from your poppa' kind of association with it and memories start flowing....
It is citrussy but in the ethereal way, it is spicy in the 'spicetrader' way, a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, with a huge funky basetone. This combined, its as if a master perfumer had composed an exquisite fragrance. The funk of an attick full of weed to serve as the musky base undertones upon which, a layer of earthy spices, upon which a floral and citrussy fresh layer. It is bloody amazing and I wished ya'll were with me to smell it and taste it when the time has come. I want to exersize patience but my god this smells better than any weed I recently acquired and we have some excellent dispensaries here.
So I've started giving them up to 4 ltrs ( a gallon) of water each, every two days or so. They seem to need it, no drooping but also bonedry earth till deep in the pot. SInce two days ago with less feed and today only the Biobizz Topmax and PH correction.
Although not really convinced of flushing, Im trying it to see if I get a more pure taste and experience.
So trichomewise I find it hard to see, my magnifier is not strong enough to see the individual trichomes. I do see area's on leafedges etc that seem more amber, trichomes look milky from this distance but have get a better magnifier to get better view. On the images I see that there are many clear ones and not many ambers so we have some weeks to go which is correct according to Advanced Seeds, this Gelato #33 Fast has to flower 45 to 55 days, We are on day 39...
The plant itself seems utterly healthy. Some white points and very little heatstress from checking absolute minimum for these lights. You don't know until you find out. For anyone else looking for reviews on Rubol V3 100 watt QB's in a three in a row setup, with 10 cm spacing between each board, the minimal distance is 28 cm or one foot, when flowering, gradually lowering to this point btw. These lights are excellent, good value for money and with the two years of waranty a good investment. Also great service from Justin at www.rubol.nl. They are helpfull, considerate and very knowledgable.
So far so good, the grand finale is coming in just one or two weeks and I want to thank you for taking time and read all this, everybody who had advice and answered my growquestions, wish you were here for the harvestparty and may your harvest be bountifull!! See you next week!!
Ok so I have uneven plants cause of the stage I received the propagated cuttings in, one was 1,5 weeks ahead. Its taking up its space... the other 2 are smaller, do you think I should start the fowering stage already? They are 7,5 and 6 weeks old now.
Ok getting bit paranoid. Since they are revegged, we can state that they've been stressed a little. So have they hermied? Sources differ a bit on whether pollensacs can have pistils or not, all the sac-looking flowers have at least one or two pistils, none have no pistils...
Hi there, that doesn't look like male pollen sac to me.It's just swelling female calyx.Male pollen sac doesn't have any pistils.Only the female calyx with seeds have.Happy growing... βοΈ
If allowed to do a little sidequiz (unsponsored and unaffiliated userinitiative) I like to know your best guess, what my final weigh in is going to be.
See this week comments for rules and info!
Just for fun, considering laws etc. If prize not allowed, then for honour! GL HF X
Hold on i need my pen and paper dam son your a professorπ³π³...Good job growMIEπππͺ have fun hope you have a tasty harvestππ¬πππ
@JamMAKEcan, what very nice compliment! Im not a professor at all, there are very many excellent growers here I learned a lot from in a short time (I never heard of monstercropping and have been growing for 30 years). And my secret bible is growweedeasy.com with Nebula Haze, the author, as my oracle of all things cannabis. If you haven't seen her yet and want to up your game, follow them. Also find growers that have your style or lights or nutrients or strain you want to grow and see what approaches work. Again lovely words but in my case luck and as it tuns out, very resistent and resilliant strain by Advanced Seeds. So thanks and I will follow and check in from time to time and if you're stuck just hook me up here so we will ponder the challenge together! And if you want Im doing a little give-away, some seed for the person closest to guessing my final weigh in!! Hug Buds
@@@TenderBuds, im sorry sensei, didn't realize I was talking to a Master! :) That seems like no pressure at all, of course, on your next grow, any idea what strain? Im sure you will do that too, some tpeople have to learn this, other just have the touch... Unless that mentor was growing it for you you did a whole lot right with those results!! So good luck for the next one and don't hesitate to PM some of those magical special moves your mysterious Mr Myagy has taught you... grasshopper.
See you on your next one!! And if you want, you can try a gamble on my growquestion to guess what my final weigh in will be. If not for the prize (cause of understandable privacy reasons, although I will send them unmarked from my (checkable and public) business, then for the honour my fellow fairy of ganja!
@@@TenderBuds, yes isn't it completely. Sometimes I just stare and stare at them. Mesmerized by in this case an ocean of glden nuggets that I had visualized beforehand. Providence gave me a reveg and monstercrop that was unplanned but created it. They are grown with love, apologized to them, or her, since she is one and the same lady as clones, whenever I had to hurt them. They are loaded with intention of healing and knowledge to whoever smokes it, and will be ritually harvested, cured and stored with gems in a box. We go bit far but Sunshine, my partner and I are permaculture healers and believe they are teachers if you can establish the right 'deal' with them. Most people just give away their energy for free, while she has lots of gifts to give. Which is why when we smoke after a time we didn't we feel so gloriously at one with all, have wondefull insights, she entices us back in with her gifs. So we go back to smoking daily just to sedate us from all the BS and she stops giving gifts, now she demands more energy and attention. She is a fickle spirit that can hold a lot of might over people. Can't wait to see your results, Im rambling on as usual... :P Enjoyed our little encounter!!
@JamMAKEcan, thanks buddy!! The smells are amazing, the final days here, so smells are full and danky.
Try comfrey compost tea. Youll be amazed and its saves on all flowering nutes.
I did this with 100 watts per plant only.
Thanks for supporting and checkin buddy! Gl with yours and have you decided on a lamp yet?
Now thats a harvest and an interesting diary @biobuds, nice one. Love Sweety, had a King C Spaniel as a kid, amazing personallity....
Most of all your interest in Shamanism and Teacherplants, wish more people would take time to look at subjects like these I know for sure Ayahuasca/DMT has powers we generally do not understand, not yet sure if mankind truly deserves or what they would do with this knowledge though.

@sailormoonflowers, and I think all helpers are special, visible or invisible ;) the fact I can see them or not doesn't diminish anyting from the help given, at very least it can enable others to help the helper, who in turn can help even more... Although I completely respect your decission not to share personal stuff anywhere, on many levels.
@sailormoonflowers, wow 13 rescues, thats a busy home :). In my opinion, intellect is what got us further from 'the truth' and your conclusion on dark matter is same as mine and I've developped my own theorem on this which I use in my coaching: The universe will hide its dark matters as long as people do. I think the next singularity will coincide with people making this paradigmshift in their conscousness.
We will harnass space/time when we harnass our conscious mind. And in this light I find simulation theory interesting but a too much one-sided and to littlle magical (or too much mechanical, if you will) part of the equation, where our part in generating reality, or our simulation is left out.
I've come to believe that we are omnipowerful in creating said 'simulation' and to put it as a mere simulation is completely denying our devine purpose, as creation, creators, observers and in the end we will find, that certain religious texts were more right when it says: we are made in His likeness, we have the same powers.
We create reality every day, by our thoughts and convictions that we are who we are and are worth what we got. If you believe you are not worth much, the universe will comply and match that expectation.
In the end, we are made from the same stuff as stars and all in the universe are made from. We are children of light, each a universe in a universe, with immense powers and energy in us. Every day we forget this, we feel unconnected and alone, or insignificant. I wish you a great day and if not, just create it. Love talking to you!!
Big hug
Bud
@BioBuds, thank you, completely agree with your view on the Higgs-Boson particle, the dark matter is now the next frontier to understand. Have you looked in to Simulation Theory which leads to the Simulation Hypothesis by Nick Bostrom, the three alternatives... very interesting and I wont spoil it here in case you have not yet read it. Id really appreciate your opinion, maybe start on wiki its the in fairly basic terms. Elon Musk's famous early days comment "it is highly probable that we are not in base reality" makes me think as Im not an intellectual but smart enough to recognise others that are gifted thinkers..
My Little luke had eye and nose infections most of his life so completely agree, he made it to 11 and was blind for the last 6 months... best I ever had. I have 13 rescues here now not posting pics... IMO I believe helping becomes a little less special when you post pics of stuff like that, thats how i feel anyway...
Peace & Love

@Growskiiiiii, thank you so much! They went dark yesterday!! Harvest week has arrived π Good luck to you again, Im following and rooting for ya in the contest!
"aids in the real funk smell in plant and bud (they are what they eat too)" ...I never thought in those terms but it makes sense... good luck with your grow!! π±β€οΈπ‘π±
@BioBuds, we were making 5gal batches of worm tea for a while but decided against bringing it inside anymore, the smell is just too much lol.. we use outside and on all the vegetables though :)
@Kitties_and_Colas, im no scientist and I did not do a dpubleblind test but my reasoning is that when we eat loads of onions we sweat unions but as soon as I started givi ng it, thr smell of the grow, soil and room changed as did the soiltemp and smell off co2.
But.... then Idiscussed it someone I know who grows.
He started giving it to his plants midblossom. I witnessed his buds in white straoght pistil fluffy
stage.
His run had no strong smells en no trichomes.
The day after trichs wete forming a danky skunk smell was very noticable.
Two grows in different stages, everytime I do 100 ml on a liter to 250 ml p liter as long as ph stayed above 6.3, My tapwater is 7.6.
Try comfreytea, will make video of mine, I tweaked mine with clipped weed leaves and dandelion.
When going to flower you can up the dosage of the tea by addimg some wood ash, which is alkaline.
Its natural PK, leave it overnight to let the microbes and the lactobacterial toxines (vinegars and carbohydrates) let the K and P into its HCL version.
Alsp ph stabilizes this way. Just as a comparison; check other grows with this strain.
Its not an abundant yielder, but no one tried this and get the same size and bigger buds on a monstercrop w only 100 watt !!! per plant
Thanks for your support and tey compost tea youll be amazed with its niomalizing properties.
Final tip, if you have a growing nemessis, like gnats, thrips or mites for instance, choose the herb most active against this pest, check if not antimicrobial, add to tea, use 1/5 solutoin as foliar...
Never growing withour it again. I will poar a pic of our garden which we also fed with it. It exploded...
Hug Bud
