My review of strain so far: Strain: Gelato #33 Fast by Advanced Seeds Good for beginners: XXXXX yes, she is a dream to grow, just don't expect huge buds. High yielder: XXX What I've seen it's a medium yielder, smaller buds, my results per plant are average, but high for this amount of light (100 watts per plant) Resilliance: XXXXX extremely resiliant against lightproblems, fungus gnats, high PH in soil, low water conditions, training, supercropping, revegging and monstercropping, this without any hermie, my respect... Light lover: she does seem to perform best under higher watts, I would love to try her with 500 watts and sunset / sunrise setting, she can do more than this Im sure. I should have let her reveg further and more ventilation for thicker branches. Mold / disease resistent: XXXXX extremely resistent Nutrients: XXXX Needs loads of sulphur or my medium is short on available sulphur, next grow will tell, otherwise normal uptake, can resist up to 2000 PPM in organic nutrients (with the tea added) Vigor: XXXXX even when stressed, never stunted, average stretch during flower Ease of growing: XXXXX Easy to train, responds well to fimming. Clones well, clones resilliant too. Trichomes: XXXXX Large trichome packs with longer than average size, leaves almost not visible by trichome cover (not known if his is average for G33 or because of tea). Attention sucker: XXXXX she is a delight, very easy plant, loves attention but can do days to weeks without care, my training and defoliating regime made it more hands-on but that was my choice. Smell during veg: XXXXX Green grass, hay, fresh piney, stronger than average even in veg. Smell during flowering: XXXXX tones of musk, danky gorilla's ass, citrus, older mens after shaves, spices, gingerbread, cookiedough, vanilla Smell during smoking: XXXXX earthy, marzapan / almonds, piney, spices, Taste: XXXXX Its hazey, piney, spicy and earthy. Needs only a seven day cure / dry, in my case at average 22 degrees, 40 RH. No conditions for a cure, but it doesn't matter, her Sativa heritage makes her fantastic to smoke, straight after 7 days... A smooth smoke, I hope after the remaining jar cure, the terpenes will come out even more. But the smell coming out of the tent and after cleaning, from the jars... I never had this amazing and enourmously pungent smell coming from anything I've ever grown, especially in this stage. Texture: the buds are sticky and greasy through and through, not extremely dense and compact but enough to need a grinder and have a timy bit fill a grinder full of fuffy bud, with a great crumble, that just keeps crumbling and making your fingers stickier in that greasy way. Effect: XXXXX Its incredibly strong, its a full body high, but with remarkabe mind clarity. This is the strongest weed I've ever grown myself.

Reviews. Nutrient
Green sensation I find very expensive and I dont see the instant results I do see when using the tea with teaspoon of woodash.
Great product! Helps as alternative to products like Gaia green amendments. I just crush them, mix then with wormcastings at 4/6 weeks when startnutes must have depleted.
Plants love it, topmax to mimic the humic layers, Alg a mic to help conpensate soil issues. Loved them both.
Reviews. Lamp
Reviews. Tent
Tent is not practical with not having extra sidebars, so tent sucks in losing a foot of total growspace in the middle, where width is only 2 ft... so that literally sucks. Now I have to order parts from Secret Jardin, to make my own inner frame. Also some light leakage at stitches, too many holes with velcro and ventilation holes, potentially all sucking in dirty air at groundlevel. I had to all try to close them and fit them with filters to prevent spores, disease and pests to get in, just as dust or hairs although we try to keep the room itself as clean as possible... Tent feels sturdy with good zippers, so its a shame that the inner frame isnt an option. Pls Spider Farmer fix this and I will give the 5 stars.

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Thank you for checking in on our journey, all the love, support, and compliments were a true motivation, a very needed distraction, and guidance for me and for Sunshine. Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! Congratulations!!! I will be contacting you to get the seeds with you!! Thanks for playing to all the others and better luck next time, I will give away some seeds again!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Overall conclusion: I think we can call this a succes. Made back my investment, my cost per grow and we saved the environment. Thanks for all the love, tips and support! Couldnt have done this on my first indoor LED grow, without you!! Wish you were here to smoke a fat one, some good conversation about our hobby and now... I'm hungry.... See you on the next one!! Hugs Bud!!! PS. Should you be interested in Shamanism or Teacherplants by anything I mentioned. Final update: Very happy to announce that this dairy had won the sixth place best diary of August 2021. My prize came in yesterday and I'm very happy!! Thank you Growdiaries!! Thank you Fastbuds!!! Thank you all my grow buddies here for the love and support!! Hope to see you all, maybe at a future Growdiaries Meet and Greet? Wouldn't that be a lovely idea, per country and a yearly one on a different continent every year? The Growdiaries Conference. Would be a great Hemp growers fair... I'll keep dreaming and light another one... Big hug BioBuds

Ok so I have uneven plants cause of the stage I received the propagated cuttings in, one was 1,5 weeks ahead. Its taking up its space... the other 2 are smaller, do you think I should start the fowering stage already? They are 7,5 and 6 weeks old now.

I would just veg them all longer and apply some training. Aiming for a bigger yield.

Ok getting bit paranoid. Since they are revegged, we can state that they've been stressed a little. So have they hermied? Sources differ a bit on whether pollensacs can have pistils or not, all the sac-looking flowers have at least one or two pistils, none have no pistils...

Hi there, that doesn't look like male pollen sac to me.It's just swelling female calyx.Male pollen sac doesn't have any pistils.Only the female calyx with seeds have.Happy growing... ✌️

If allowed to do a little sidequiz (unsponsored and unaffiliated userinitiative) I like to know your best guess, what my final weigh in is going to be. See this week comments for rules and info! Just for fun, considering laws etc. If prize not allowed, then for honour! GL HF X

@JamMAKEcan, what very nice compliment! Im not a professor at all, there are very many excellent growers here I learned a lot from in a short time (I never heard of monstercropping and have been growing for 30 years). And my secret bible is growweedeasy.com with Nebula Haze, the author, as my oracle of all things cannabis. If you haven't seen her yet and want to up your game, follow them. Also find growers that have your style or lights or nutrients or strain you want to grow and see what approaches work. Again lovely words but in my case luck and as it tuns out, very resistent and resilliant strain by Advanced Seeds. So thanks and I will follow and check in from time to time and if you're stuck just hook me up here so we will ponder the challenge together! And if you want Im doing a little give-away, some seed for the person closest to guessing my final weigh in!! Hug Buds

@@@TenderBuds, im sorry sensei, didn't realize I was talking to a Master! :) That seems like no pressure at all, of course, on your next grow, any idea what strain? Im sure you will do that too, some tpeople have to learn this, other just have the touch... Unless that mentor was growing it for you you did a whole lot right with those results!! So good luck for the next one and don't hesitate to PM some of those magical special moves your mysterious Mr Myagy has taught you... grasshopper. See you on your next one!! And if you want, you can try a gamble on my growquestion to guess what my final weigh in will be. If not for the prize (cause of understandable privacy reasons, although I will send them unmarked from my (checkable and public) business, then for the honour my fellow fairy of ganja!

BioBuds
BioBudscommented3 years ago
@@@TenderBuds, yes isn't it completely. Sometimes I just stare and stare at them. Mesmerized by in this case an ocean of glden nuggets that I had visualized beforehand. Providence gave me a reveg and monstercrop that was unplanned but created it. They are grown with love, apologized to them, or her, since she is one and the same lady as clones, whenever I had to hurt them. They are loaded with intention of healing and knowledge to whoever smokes it, and will be ritually harvested, cured and stored with gems in a box. We go bit far but Sunshine, my partner and I are permaculture healers and believe they are teachers if you can establish the right 'deal' with them. Most people just give away their energy for free, while she has lots of gifts to give. Which is why when we smoke after a time we didn't we feel so gloriously at one with all, have wondefull insights, she entices us back in with her gifs. So we go back to smoking daily just to sedate us from all the BS and she stops giving gifts, now she demands more energy and attention. She is a fickle spirit that can hold a lot of might over people. Can't wait to see your results, Im rambling on as usual... :P Enjoyed our little encounter!!

Now thats a harvest and an interesting diary @biobuds, nice one. Love Sweety, had a King C Spaniel as a kid, amazing personallity.... Most of all your interest in Shamanism and Teacherplants, wish more people would take time to look at subjects like these I know for sure Ayahuasca/DMT has powers we generally do not understand, not yet sure if mankind truly deserves or what they would do with this knowledge though. @sailormoonflowers, and I think all helpers are special, visible or invisible ;) the fact I can see them or not doesn't diminish anyting from the help given, at very least it can enable others to help the helper, who in turn can help even more... Although I completely respect your decission not to share personal stuff anywhere, on many levels.

BioBudscommented3 years ago
@sailormoonflowers, wow 13 rescues, thats a busy home :). In my opinion, intellect is what got us further from 'the truth' and your conclusion on dark matter is same as mine and I've developped my own theorem on this which I use in my coaching: The universe will hide its dark matters as long as people do. I think the next singularity will coincide with people making this paradigmshift in their conscousness. We will harnass space/time when we harnass our conscious mind. And in this light I find simulation theory interesting but a too much one-sided and to littlle magical (or too much mechanical, if you will) part of the equation, where our part in generating reality, or our simulation is left out. I've come to believe that we are omnipowerful in creating said 'simulation' and to put it as a mere simulation is completely denying our devine purpose, as creation, creators, observers and in the end we will find, that certain religious texts were more right when it says: we are made in His likeness, we have the same powers. We create reality every day, by our thoughts and convictions that we are who we are and are worth what we got. If you believe you are not worth much, the universe will comply and match that expectation. In the end, we are made from the same stuff as stars and all in the universe are made from. We are children of light, each a universe in a universe, with immense powers and energy in us. Every day we forget this, we feel unconnected and alone, or insignificant. I wish you a great day and if not, just create it. Love talking to you!! Big hug Bud
sailormoonflowers
sailormoonflowerscommented3 years ago
@BioBuds, thank you, completely agree with your view on the Higgs-Boson particle, the dark matter is now the next frontier to understand. Have you looked in to Simulation Theory which leads to the Simulation Hypothesis by Nick Bostrom, the three alternatives... very interesting and I wont spoil it here in case you have not yet read it. Id really appreciate your opinion, maybe start on wiki its the in fairly basic terms. Elon Musk's famous early days comment "it is highly probable that we are not in base reality" makes me think as Im not an intellectual but smart enough to recognise others that are gifted thinkers.. My Little luke had eye and nose infections most of his life so completely agree, he made it to 11 and was blind for the last 6 months... best I ever had. I have 13 rescues here now not posting pics... IMO I believe helping becomes a little less special when you post pics of stuff like that, thats how i feel anyway... Peace & Love S.M.F

BioBuds
BioBudscommented3 years ago
@Kitties_and_Colas, im no scientist and I did not do a dpubleblind test but my reasoning is that when we eat loads of onions we sweat unions but as soon as I started givi ng it, thr smell of the grow, soil and room changed as did the soiltemp and smell off co2. But.... then Idiscussed it someone I know who grows. He started giving it to his plants midblossom. I witnessed his buds in white straoght pistil fluffy stage. His run had no strong smells en no trichomes. The day after trichs wete forming a danky skunk smell was very noticable. Two grows in different stages, everytime I do 100 ml on a liter to 250 ml p liter as long as ph stayed above 6.3, My tapwater is 7.6. Try comfreytea, will make video of mine, I tweaked mine with clipped weed leaves and dandelion. When going to flower you can up the dosage of the tea by addimg some wood ash, which is alkaline. Its natural PK, leave it overnight to let the microbes and the lactobacterial toxines (vinegars and carbohydrates) let the K and P into its HCL version. Alsp ph stabilizes this way. Just as a comparison; check other grows with this strain. Its not an abundant yielder, but no one tried this and get the same size and bigger buds on a monstercrop w only 100 watt !!! per plant Thanks for your support and tey compost tea youll be amazed with its niomalizing properties. Final tip, if you have a growing nemessis, like gnats, thrips or mites for instance, choose the herb most active against this pest, check if not antimicrobial, add to tea, use 1/5 solutoin as foliar... Never growing withour it again. I will poar a pic of our garden which we also fed with it. It exploded... Hug Bud
