Hello everybody.
Round 3 has started π
2 New strains for this year outdoor grow. After 2 summers of RQS Lemon Shining Silver Haze and after 7 regular feminized seeds grows I'm going to explore unknown territory with my first automatic plants.
Jack Herer and Northern Lights from RQS. Got them for free so that's a fun start π
Germinated them with the RQS easy start. 2x Jack and 2x NL. I'm gonna keep one of each strain and give the 2 others away to friends.
Jack will be grown in a growbox togheter with the RQS companion plants.
NL will grow in a regular pot, also gonna add some extra plants around.
Both of them will be low stress trained.
This is my first attempt to LST.
Give me as much advice as u guys and girls want on this topic.
All my grows went pretty wel but we learn each round so I'm eager to try out all my "knowledge" from the previous rounds. Gonna pay more attention to PH. Last year I was able to avoid budrot and bugs. With the neemoil and companion plants I have good weapons for fighting bad bugs.
I will have flowering period from June till end of August so cold climate will be no problem. Let's hope for normal weather. I can shelter the plants when it's raining too much. I don't care for it in beginning of flower but absolutely avoid it in final weeks. It sucks too much when u discover budrot ππ
I will prepare my LSTclips and growbox this weekend. Need to drill some drainage holes and apply the LSTwires. Also a visit to the growshop for soil.
Hope u will enjoy this diary and journey with me.
Happy growing friends π
Can I water in with Neem Oil? Added 1ml on 1 liter water and still have liquid left after spraying the leaves of the plant. I read that u can do it but Just checking in for opinions. π
I'm sure this questions been asked before
...
But it's not worth it, neem oil is not cheap. And the way it works is making the leaves and stems of the plant inhabitable for the insects, it doesn't do much at all to the soil.
And so it begins! Curious to watch your outdoor grow. What type of climate are you in? Just curious because when I tried to grow outside, I had a lot of issues with heat, humidity and bugs. Ended up throwing out 3 plants after all my hard work.
@Clutch,Maybe next year I'll try and make the trip.
I've never been outside of Canada and I always wanted
to travel across the pond, would love to float or fly the Harleys across,
It would be a trip of a lifetime, I'll be checking costs and availability.
Grow Big!!!
@northernMike, I also looked for greenhouses haha. I'm really getting into growing all kinds of food and herb. And u should definitely make that trip man. Holland is real fun. Went too Amsterdam for birthdays and concerts. Great city and there are many more to see. After corona is over I'm going on a far travel too. Wanna see more of the world and never been outside of Europe. Greetings and have a great day.
@Clutch,I have the same problem trying photos outside,Oct weather sucks.
Ordered up a green house, 6x10 should help with these issues, but I'm
going to keep the photos in the tent and grow a few autos outside, should prolong the season a little.
Always wanted to make a trip across the pond, maybe someday when all this craziness is over.
I have a lot of relatives in Holland that I have never met and it would be an awesome trip.
Have a Great day !!!
Nice colours mate!!!
I think that last feeding will do, like you mentioned. After that, a good flush and some pure zyme. Probably a week or two and a half, 3 weeks tops i should say.
Those cold nights give nice colours, but they slowdown the bloom 2.

@Clutch,
I feel ya, thats not the best place like you say.
Thats why i invested in a nice greenhouse. Keeps those babies at a better light input.

@Organic_LarF, yeah I was thinking 2 to 3 more weeks too. The colors are indeed great but I Hope to get some better weather in those final weeks haha. Shitloads of rain again π I put her inside the garden house but not the best environment for her final period...
@Organic_LarF, thanks a lot man, I'm really thankful for your advice comments. Hope to see u again for my next round π Wanna try out a purple strain now haha
@IbeBryBry, Thanks man, hoping to get the drying and curing right for the best results. Previous grow looked good but didn't taste that well unfortunately...
@northernMike, thanks man. I'm just smoking a sample bud now and I like it π in the next weeks and monts she can only become better haha. Did found some caterpillars in the end. Gonna search something (no Neem oil) that I can use untill very late in flowering. Hope all is well there buddy. Stay safe. ππ
@Taito, thx man. I really wanna see more growth in the first vegative phase. All my feminized seed grows were a bit slow in the early weeks so I'm hoping for a different story with the automatic π
@northernMike, exactly my thoughts about that Oct weather haha. I'm also learning a lot about organic grows but I will use up the last nutrients I have left now.
@Clutch,ππGoing to try a couple of autos outside this time.
Ran out of summer last year, if I put a couple autos outside soon, should
be able to harvest by the end of AUG. or beginning of SEPT, don't want to deal
with that nasty OCT. weather.
Did a couple nice grows over the winter, got some big weights.
Went 100% organicπ and it's paying off bigtime!!!
Just trying to keep it simple...
Later, Have a good one!!
I tried to order some patienceπ΅.
was told it's in short supply! and hard to get!
It's always on back order! and were very sorry but all lines are busy!!!
πππ.. Luck with the new growπ
