Thank you Royal Queen Seeds for this opportunity, I am excited to try out these strains and participate in the contest 😃
This diary is a part of the RQS Spring Cup 2021, for which RQS provided me with seeds, nutrients and other things. I will be growing 2 plants of this strain, one using RQS Organic Nutrients, one using BioBizz products. I hope this will not be confusing later in the diary, but for some added clarity the plant using RQS nutrients is in a pot with RQS logo, and the plant I grow using my usual products is in a plain black one 😉 I will log both nutrients to the weeks, but I will not use any BioBizz products apart from BioDown pH adjuster in the RQS pot unless I face some issues with deficiencies.
Once I get some more space in my tent in couple weeks, I will also be starting a second diary with Watermelon Automatic, same way with 2 plants using different provided nutrients with one and my normal methods with the other.

Seeds have been planted today. Having usually planted directly in soil but wanting to try out the starter pellets, I chose to go for a hybrid solution - instead of sprouting the seeds in the tray, I popped out one pellet per pot, pre-soaked them in little cup with water and the bacteria, and planted them directly into the pre-watered soil. This way I can avoid any disturbance that could happen transplanting later.
29/05
Both seeds show signs of life 72h from being planted, but have not fully grown out of soil yet.
Day 1
>> Height 7cm (HB#1), 5,5cm (HB#2)
Day 3
>> Height 9cm (HB#1), 8cm (HB#2)
Day 5
>> Height 10,5cm (HB#1), 10cm (HB#2)
>> Water 0,4l + Rootjuice (HB#1, HB#2)
_________________________________________________
Both seedlings getting started well, RH 55-70% temperatures 22-30C. As I prewatered the soil well prior to sowing, I have just sprayed the soil every 1-2 days to keep it moist. First proper watering on day 5 with some BioBizz Rootjuice for both plants to help them get strong roots from the start. HB#1 is growing slightly ahead (germ 18h before #2), due to which it's also slightly taller. Overall both develop quite similarly. In the same tent is still finishing up Auto Euforia and Auto Ultimate from my first grow run ever, Euforia is now getting harvested and Ultimate will move back to its own tent once Euforia has been dried there :)
Day 8
>> Height 11,5cm (HB#1), 11cm (HB#2)
>> Water 0,3l
Day 10
>> Height 12cm (HB#1), 12cm (HB#2)
>> Water 0,3l
Day 12
>> Height 12,5cm (HB#1), 13cm (HB#2)
>> Water 0,3l

RH 60-65% temperatures 22-30C. Week 2, as expected both are starting to stack some leaves without much growth in height. No nutrients this week, just light watering every 2 days. Auto Ultimate moved back to its own tent that was used for drying the last couple weeks, Haze Berries are now residing together with Watermelons that I'm also growing for RQS Cup but started a little later so they would finish around the same time with Haze Berries as their growing time is couple weeks shorter.
Day 15
>> Height 14,5cm (HB#1) 13cm (HB#2)
>> Water 2l + feed
- HB#1: Easy Grow Booster Tablets (quarter), Rootjuice
- HB#2: Rootjuice, FishMix, AlgAMic, CalMag
Day 18
>> Height 15,5cm (HB#1), 15cm (HB#2)
>> Water 0,5l
Day 20
>> Height 20,5cm (HB#1), 17cm (HB#2)
>> Water 1l

RH 60-65% temperatures 22-30C. Week 3, both HBs are starting to really gather some mass reaching 6 nodes and doubled in height.
Both received feeding on the first day of the week, for HB#1 I mixed a quarter of a RQS Easy Grow Booster tablet in 2l of water with BioBizz RootJuice and HB#2 got BioBizz RootJuice, FishMix, AlgAMic and CalMag.
I've been tucking the leaves all week, trying to keep budsites exposed. On day 21 HB#2 was topped at 5th node, HB#1 will be just grown naturally with leaf tucking and some defoliation.
Day 23
>>Height 25cm (HB#1), 21cm (HB#2)
>> Water 0,5l + 2l + feed
- HB#1: Easy Grow Booster Tablets (quarter)
- HB#2: Grow, Bloom, TopMax, AlgAMic, CalMag
Day 26
>>Height 32cm (HB#1), 27cm (HB#2)
>> Water 1,5l

RH 60-65% temperatures 22-28C. Week 4, both HBs are now getting ready for flower and starting to seriously stretch. Both are starting to show pistils, by end of the week some small preflower formations. Next week will be week 1 of flower.
Both received feeding on the second day of the week, for HB#1 that has already RQS Boost Organic Nutrition pellets in soil, I mixed a quarter of a RQS Easy Grow Booster tablet in 2l of water. HB#2 got BioBizz Grow, Bloom, TopMax, AlgAMic and CalMag. Both plants seem to take on their feed well and don't show signs of deficiency or abundance. Leaves remain green and healthy, some upper stems have slight purple on exposed sites, but this seems to happen to all my plants with SF2000 even if the plant is healthy.
I've been tucking the leaves all week, trying to keep budsites exposed. HB#2 has recovered well from topping without showing any major signs of stress but continues to be slightly smaller than HB#1. The canopy is amazingly even and square without having to use lst. HB#1 also has a surprisingly even coverage, all the side shoots have grown well actively almost keeping up with the main apex that is now starting to slowly take off above the rest as the plant is stretching. This strain seems to have a nice structure even without major training and I'm happy having chosen not to do much lst as I feel like it grows very evenly already and will reach a far larger overall size this way.
Day 51
>>Height 57cm (HB#1), 37cm (HB#2)
>> Water 0,5l + 2l + feed
- HB#1: Easy Bloom Booster Tablets (quarter)
- HB#2: Grow, Bloom, TopMax, AlgAMic, CalMag
Day 54
>>Height 57cm (HB#1), 37cm (HB#2)
>> Water 2,5l
+ HB#1 Biobizz cocktail
Day 56
>>Height 57cm (HB#1), 37cm (HB#2)
>> Water 2,75l

Both are flowering nicely, RH is finally coming under control and hopefully better for the last few weeks. HB#1 is getting a little too hungry, the pellets in soil and booster tablets at least in current quantities aren't enough, and so on day 53 I'm giving her a mix of BioBizz Grow, Bloom, TopMax, AlgAMic and Calmag to hopefully give enough power to fatten up the buds on time and stop the progression of yellowing leaves. Also defoliated most of the worst parts. HB#2 is staying small but her buds might still get impressive and are well covered along the whole stems.
I tried to grow using two different nutrients and training methods. What can I say, both got fine results! This strain is relatively easy to grow and happy with many products and styles of growing.
Very happy with this plant despite slightly small size on both. Conditions weren't optimal as fighting the summer heat without AC and resulting humidity can be a nightmare, which is why I also opted for slightly earlier harvest seeing some others had experienced budrot or mold in similar conditions. Great strain overall, my boyfriend really enjoyed it and I like this as an around the clock smoke as well.
