Blue Dream Auto

so I pulled this seed out of a jar of water (about 30 hours to germ) yesterday and put in this little pot. It already broke the surface. Waiting on other seed to germ, she will have a partner. Not sure on actual breeder, know greybeard doesn't breed BD, but as you can see lol. So the guy at dispo says, its either HSO, I49, or Seedsman. I dunno, bought it because I wasn't crazy about the other autos he had on hand, and who doesn't love blue dream, right?

Late posting week 2, my bad. But nothing to miss here lol, this may be the least exciting thing I enjoy doing, waiting for actual leaves, which are coming! Moved to a 3gal because I heard overwhelmingly I should pot them in final pots, after I started the seeds of course 🤣 so I transplanted the one thats a day older, ran out of soil lmao. So on payday ill re pot the other and top off my soil as much as I safely can in the older girl

Today is day 21, I'm going to be posting at weeks end from now on, reading thru my dosido diary I realized it will be easier to track progress/events this way lol. Well, the plant I transplanted 1st, plant 1, is taking off! I tied the main branch over last night, its giving me a new set of leaves every 36 hours or so for the last 5ish days, great color, very happy. Plant 1 is in my leftovers, about 30/70 perlite/soil, soil is about 50/50 happy frog/ocean forest with the dregs of a bag of NLS and the bottom half mixed in a few spoons of dr earth flower girl. Plant on the right, plant 2, is in 707 roots organic with the same dr earth reservoir. She's certainly not as happy as her sister 😂 I have to imagine it has something to do with me leaving her in a water bottle for 2 weeks, moving her to a pot of completely different soil, breaking a few roots in the process, and her having gone thru this in the last 6 days. Maybe...🤣🤣 in any case, new growth appeared 2 days ago but it's moving slowly, this is my 1st try with autos and I'm concerned she won't be fully acclimated before she starts stretching, I guess we'll see! On a sidenote: with the growth I'm seeing on plant 1 I'm not sure 2 of these fully healthy would fit in my little tent

Gave me preflowers on 6/20! Seems to be going ok, plant 2 is a runt lol

Even though I'm getting decent growth i feel like something is off, plant 2 is obviously trying to recover from her terrible childhood so I give her a pass. Plant 1 was showing some yellowing on the edges of a few fans, foliar sprayed a bit of calmag and it stopped. I have had a few gnats/flies the last couple weeks,a week ago I started spraying every other day with Dr earth final stop. It seems to be helping so far. Aside from that, going great! Vigorous growth on plant 1, and I'm just hoping for a decent 8th off of plant 2 lol. I got some seeds from some killer dispo bud, want to pop them but I don't have the heart to kill the runt lol

I'm running out of space in the tent 🤣 I think its safe to say they have made a decent recovery! Starting to smell, but not like blue dream lol smells diesel-y as can be, no hint of berry or haze, just gas lol

So I'm trying to catch up my diary, today is Sunday 07/18. So Tuesday will actually be the end of week 8. Both are flowering now, plant 2 is much farther along! Smelling like fuel still but can start to smell that unique blue dream aroma if you get real close, yummy!

Caught up! Today is 07/21, day 57. Had to bend plant 1 top cola down again, she's reaching for the sun! Plant 2 is nugging up nicely, and they are starting to smell terrific! Some of the leaves looked cannibalized like yosest the :ry nd so I gave both girls a light feeding, calmag and bloom booster 1-34-32. Then some recharge separately. I'll probably not feed plant 2 again, I could see her finishing inside of 2 weeks, but I may feed plant 1 once or twice more, she's coming along kinda slow but maybe she'll be super 🔥!

Today is 7/27, aka day 63! Plant one had a K deficiency going on so I fed her again, same stuff as before with a slight boost to the flower fuel, I don't want to overfeed for sure, too late in the game for that. Hopefully it sorts her out because her sister is looking fiiiiine 🤪 she looks like she's starting to ripen up fast! Calyxes are getting fat n juicy, she's throwing out some pretty colors, and she's frosty as can be. She stanks! My best guess is ill be chopping her up in the next 10 or so days, maybe 2 weeks.

So the symptoms in plant 1 have slowed down significantly, and she's gone back to swelling those buds! So I'm optimistic there! Plant 2, as many white pistils as she has (probably 40 or so % darkened, hard to see in pics) her trichomes say its time! For this plant anyway, i want this one to be mostly white, next one maybe 30% amber! As it sits, she's about 85 milky and the rest amber with a few clear stragglers. Not gonna fret because I have tried her, and she's good! A small branch off of 2 broke when moving 1 to flush her, so I trimmed it and set it on my pc to quick dry lol. 4.4 grams went on, 1.2 came off, and I rolled a fatty. It tasted good, which was fascinating to me, didn't taste like hay at all! And the high was phenomenal. So I'm gonna chop her up tonight! Plant 1 has a few weeks yet, I'm hoping they go smoother than the last couple lol. Until next time, happy growing farm-fam!

Chopped plant 2 last Monday! I'll add stats to harvest week when its all done but I had a hard time editing last grow so heres some stats for you guys n gals! Plant 1- harvest 8/11 218g wet trimmed Plant 2- harvest 8/2 149g wet trimmed, 33g final trim and jarred up I would have left this one another week but the burning was getting bad and the trichomes were about 15-20% amber. I shut the light off Sunday and just got done chopping! I thought she'd be super stringy but she's got some solid nugs! I'm smoking a J of plant 2 while I type this up, it doesn't smell very strong in the jar at all but man it tastes awesome, and the smoke smells dank and delicious, if I walked by this scent it would certainly catch my attention! My joint weight roughly .7, I'm halfway thru and head in the clouds high, its waaay better than what I dried on my PC tower 😆 same great, chill blue dream high i know and love, with a little extra boost because we all know we love smoking our own ✊will do harvest week soon as I have dry weight on plant 1! This was a mutually abusive relationship that ended in some pretty sweet buds, 2 different phenotypes, 2 3/4 oz of smoke not counting the popcorn large nugs and trim, add a pan of 12 badass brownies and enough trim leftover to make another to my harvest weight!
