Tubington9 Start date Wednesday June 2, 2021
These seeds were given to me by a friend of mine, he received them as a gift, both are presumed to be regular seeds, not photo fem or autos. This is a preliminary grow hopefully to have two females in veg by the time my current grow in week 14 is finished, some time in the next 4-6 weeks. These plants will be started outside, and once my grow tent is free of the two blue dream fem currently growing inside of it, these will be transported inside, unless male, at which point the will be terminated immediately.
Week 1 Day 3 Kushberry X gorilla bomb seed has popped, unfortunately the Jack Herer has not, going to give it another day or so before calling it a dud, at which point I will try a new seed
Week 1 day 4 Kushberry X Gorilla Bomb has been planted. The Jack Herer seed still hasn't even split, so a second seed has been placed in water, the initial seed is still on the moist towel while this one soaks, will give it the opportunity to pop by the time the second seed I started soaking hopefully pops. Worst case scenario neither of them pop, best case the both do and I will have to run 3 plants.
Week 1 Day 5 Kushberry X Gorilla Bomb has broken the surface after being planted yesterday. Still no news on the Jack Herer side, first seed still hasnβt progressed in towel, second seed had only been in the towel for about 12 hours.
Week 1 Day 7 Jack Herer seed number two was planted today, tap root was very fat but only about 1cm long, decided to plant today. KBGB seems to have an off colour to them and hasnt grown much over the last 24 hours, thinking light may have been too close, have backed it off to about 4-5 inches. Just using a regular florescent bulb while waiting for second tent to arrive tomorrow or thursday.

Tubington9 Week 2 Day 2 they moved into the not 27x27x66 Mars Hydro Veg tent. The Tmlapy 1500w light previously in the flower tent is now in the veg tent, replaced by a TS1000. The KBGB seems to have stopped growing, fearing i may have had the light to it for the first day after it sprouted and may have burnt it. Iβm going to give it some time before sprouting a new one now that its in the veg tent.
Week 2 Day 3 the kushberry gorilla bomb is fine! Turns out the membrane from inside the shell stayed wrapped around the leaves when the top came off holding it shut. I spritzed with water and too some very fine tweezer and removed the membrane and viola! The leaves popped apart! Jack Herer round two is also moving along fine
Week 2 Day 4 both plants entering the seedling stage nicely
Week 2 Day 6 A seed I germinated when Kushberry Gorilla Bomb #1 wasnβt looking the greatest with the membrane wrapped around its leaves has popped successfully, and thus, Kushberry Gorilla Bomb #2 has joined the tent. Canβt complain about an extra successful seed pop.

Tubington9 Week 3 Day 1 KBGB2 has cracked the surface to join the other two. Jack Herer seems to be taking a lead in size and KBGB1 is starting to come along. All 3 plants have been being spritzed several times daily when the surface appears to be dry.
Week 3 Day 3 The Spider Farmer SF1000D has arrived to replace the Tmlapy 1500 light!
Week 3 Day 6 The 3 plants all seem to have grown significantly while I was gone for the weekend, looking very healthy.

Tubington9 Week 3 Day 1 All three plants seem to be progressing through the seedling stage nicely. KBGB2 is still clearly a few days behind but seems healthy with the later start. Noticing much fatter leaves on these plants compared to my Blue Dreams grow.
Week 3 Day 3 all three plants seem to be doing well. Wrapped containers in duct tape as Iβve been informed that transparent containers will damage roots and I could definitely seed roots growing along the sides of the containers.
Week 3 Day 5 All 3 plants seem to be thriving under the Spider Farmer SF1000D, Iβm at the point where i will be looking to transplant into 5 gallon fabric pots in the near future.
Week 3 Day 7 I have just attempted my first time doing transplants into larger containers, and as nerve wracking as it was hopefully it will be successful. The plants seem to be sitting a little high in there no homes but I didnβt want to mess around to much with their roots exposed.
I fed all 3 just over one litre of water into their new pots.

Tubington9 Week 4 Day 1 all 3 plants were transplanted from smaller cups in to 5 gallon fabric pots yesterday and seem to be taking to their new homes nicely, a little bit of leaf curling but I did give them a pretty intense watering. I picked up a bag of Fox Farms Happy Frog potting mix for them now that they are in 5 gallons, hopefully they will be happy in the better quality soil. If all continues to go well with the transplant I will be topping hopefully in the next couple days. I will be trying to manifold at least one of these plants.
Week 4 Day 4 All 3 plants seem to have recovered nicely from their transplanting. I topped all three plants today and attempted two clones from the toppings of KBGB1 and Jack Herer, made a mini greenhouse for them out of a tomato cage and some cellophane
Week 4 Day 5 I cleaned up all the undergrowth below the third node in preparation to start manifolding.

Tubington9 Week 5 Day 2 Started performing some low stress training to help with the mainlining process. Have the first two colas on KBGB1 and Jack Herer tied down, just waiting for KBGB2 go catch up. Everyone is looking healthy.
Week 5 Day 5 An unfortunate day today. KBGB2 and Jack Herer have been confirmed to be male, so have been terminated. KBGB1 will be the only plant continuing forward for this run

Tubington9 Week 6 Day 1 the 4th node on each side was established nicely, so the second topping on either side was completed. Still waiting for more signs of KBGB2 if it is for sure male, but is definitely looking that way.
Week 6 Day 2 I removed the leaves and grow tip from the first node up the new colas to hopefully direct the plants energy higher up the stems. KBGB2 has officially been killed off, unfortunately the ball like sacs continued to grow and suspicions confirmed it was male.
Week 6 Day 5 Plant is exhibiting more signs of being a female which is a relief as Iβve already had to put down two of the others

Tubington9 Week 7 Day 1 Introduced the first feeding of Future Harvestβs 3 part Holland Secret line of nutrients since the leaves are showing their first signs of deficiency since being transplanted into the Happy Frog soil. The plant is showing signs confirming she is female. With the development of the nodes I believe she will be ready for the final topping within the next few days.
Week 7 Day 4 Performed the third and final topping today, setting myself up for 8 main colas. While performing some LST the plant wire slipped causing me to have to top at the 2nd node instead of the first as it crushed one of the chutes on the first node. Once she recovers from topping and the defoliation of everything below the new topping I will be adding a tomato cage to the pot for ease of tying while doing LST as opposed to tying down to the pot itself
Week 7 Day 5 recovering very nicely from 3rd topping

Tubington9 Week 8 Day 1 The large fan leaves are starting to show some slight curling after the second feeding of my 3 part nutrients, although they are new, and Iβve introduce at a small amount I an attributing this to it getting used to the nutrients and will continue the feeding schedule I am currently on until other signs of nutrient shock settle in.

Tubington9 Week 9 Day 1 The mainlining looks very good so far. Very happy with the progress so far. The plant has a very strong scent already. The definition of the 8 colas looks very nice.
Week 9 Day 6 I installed scrog for the rest of the grow, and will be flipping this plant over to flower at the beginning of week 10 because it will complete itβs grow in smaller mars hydro 27βx27βx62β

Tubington9 Week 10 Day 1 I have decided to let her flower in the small tent so I can set up the large tent for autos once the previous grow finishes drying. The plant seems to be very happy with its current nutrient and watering schedule.
Week 10 Day 6 i just some minor defoliation to let some light in as well as spread out the canopy to utilize all space available in the text

Tubington9 Week 11 Day 1 The progress speaks for itself compared to my first grow. The better quality light is eliminating the issues I had dealt with through the first 6-7 weeks of flower of my blue dream grow. White pistil hairs are already visible, the plant seems very happy with her current environment. Thankfully the weather has began to cooperate as weβve been experiencing temps in the 85-87 range in the tent with RH around 40% through most of July-Early August, since the outside temp had come down we are sitting nicely in the 75-80f range and RH 45-50%.
Week 11 Day 6 and flowering continues on nicely. The stretching continues, but the pistils are coming in very nicely.

Tubington9 Week 12 Day 1 humidity has climbed a little higher than I would like due to a big storm we had 2 days ago but will come down over the next few days. The flowering seems to be coming along nicely, no signs of any mishaps yet.
Week 12 Day 3 the trichomes are really starting to present themselves already. Only issue Iβm dealing with currently is high humidity in the tent (68%) due to the very rainy weather weβve had over the past few weeks
Week 12 Day 7 and the frost continues to come in. Looking very healthy and ready to continue her journey through flower

Tubington9 Week 13 Day 1 This week has started with a very healthy happy girl. Just gave a fairly extensive defoliation to get her ready to push through flower. Humidity continues to be an issue so I will be moving a dehumidifier into the grow room as well seem to be having a very unusual amount of rain the fall, has been raining consistently for the better part of 2 weeks now. Hoping to get humidity under control as the buds start to thicken
Week 13 Day 5 started to notice some spots forming on 2-3 very upper fan leaves. Dialled back nutrients to about 80% and added some calmag to help with this.
Iβm experiencing relatively high humidity and am curious if it is a major cause for concern as i progress through flower. Room temp stays right around 75 f and humidity ranges in the 55-60%. I know its not crazy high and am hoping with the lower temp it wont be too bad for her
Noticed today prior to feeding that iβve started to get some slightly brown spots on 2-3 fan leaves and also noticed lots of tips starting to show the tiniest amount of burn on the tips. Dropped nutrients to about 80% dose and added some calmag. Any advice would be great.
Your plants look healthy but the last picture maybe slightly indicative of a mag def, see how they do with your new 80% and if they go any more pale you would need to go the other way and increase, but I think you did it right - always go cautious first, easier to fix under feed than over feed!
Tubington9 Week 14 Day 1 The plant has recovered nicely from the missed watering the other evening thankfully. Everything is looking good minus a few fan leaves who severely dried out near the top half, so they have been removed.
Week 14 Day 4 Took some close ups of the terps, starting to notice some slight amber colour starting.

Tubington9 Week 15 Day 1 The lovely lady is very close to being complete, lots of amber starting to become present late last week. I may start the two weeks of flush now as she really doesnβt seem like she needs much more time.
Week 15 Day 2 Took some trichome pictures today. For the most part is seems as though the are clear, a little bit starting to get milky, slight hints of amber here and there. Hopefully of the next 1-2 weeks things will start kick in to gear so I can start to flush.

Tubington9 Week 16 Day 1 The final count down is on, 7 more days of flush and she will be harvested. The buds are looking much tighter than my first grow as I was battling heat issues with my blue dream grow. Stable temperatures and humidity have helped things progress nicely.
Week 16 Day 4 And the flush continues. Everything looking great so far.
Have you tried the method of putting a small hole in the stalk? This is Death simulation and causes the ripening trigger response to accelerate. Also what Grow3rPT said about Darkness stress harvest. They need a week or two to gain more mass, just wait and watch the stem fill up with colas. Impeccable setup, Quite fine life support your providing for the plant. Awesome grow fam.
Tubington9 Week 17 Day 1 Decided to go one more week, the plant still has lots of clear to the trichomes. Unfortunately will not be harvesting this saturday anymore
Week 17 Day 2 Added a few better trichome pictures.
Iβve decided to extend another week of flower as my trichomes are still fairly clear for the most part. I have been flushing for 2 weeks and the leaves are just starting to show signs of deficiency, will flushing for a third week hurt anything?
Found out how to turn the optimization off for photos on my phone so have a few new trichome pics. What you guys think? Yesterday was supposed to be my final water, and 48 hours of darkness was supposed to start today so I could harvest saturday.
I would say you are in the harvest window depending on the affect you want. If you want a more sedative affect you could go another week or more but for uplifting I would harvest this weekend.
This strain grew great! No issues deficiencies, very resilient!

Tubington9 The buds on this plant seem very nice and tight, a nice purplish bud colour started to develop during the 48 hours producing some very pleasant looking buds.
Looking good π if you are still fighting with the humidity you can take off a few more of the biggest fan leaves, I have to do the same a lot of the time.
Good luck π
Cyrus
@Cyrusdavirus, thank you very much! I didnt even think if that, there us still some fairly large ones i think i could get away with chopping as the are causing some shadowing as well! After work when I head down to water today Iβll clip a handful of the larger ones.
@Mrs_Larimar, much nicer for sure! When I saw the sharpie on the bag labelling it βKushberry X Gorilla bombβ I was hoping it wasnβt going to be too crazy with all the different strains and its definitely been a breeze so far.
