I had huge cold snaps which utterly ruined germination for my other strains but these did well for 30 degree drop. 3/4 Is amazing for that fact. It wasn't so much germination thay stopped but the fact that they started to germinate and then got cold and died. These are the survivors.
Small super diluted feeding of above nutrients. Seedlings look great perfect green color.
Stretching occurred from the manufacturer (marshydro which btw should have better stats on light intensity and height for early plants) suggested light intensity and height being 10 percent and 30 inches... yeah that didn't work at all. Had to slowly crank to 38 percent and 24 inches and now look at those tight leaves.
So we are still recovering from light stress.
The stress is leaving as shown in the new growth on the top. Some might say this is nitrogen burn.but it cannot be as it's organic, micro dosed alaska fish emulsion. This is my first rodeo as I've been gardening for 20 years now. The only thing new to me is the LED lights.
Hopefully those two phenos turn out to be male. Because I just don't see them being very vigorous for the duration of the grow.
The one light burnt plant is growing new leaves and I finally fertilized it so we will see how it gets better this week. It is definitely set back. The other one that was a bit mangled rebounded great and is now being LST'ed with the others.
Topped one plant at the 4th node (the largest) and continue to lst the rest. Our runt is finally growing again. Probably should have tossed it because of weak genetics but I'll just keep it.
Smell!!! It's starting to smell in hot days. If it goes over 74 typically my exhaust smells skunky. Won't install the carbon scrubber until it's a constant problem and gets stronger.
I topped one and left the rest so I could get better sized clones. I'm hoping the one that's lagging turns out to be male because it's the worst genetics. Slow growing, big spaces between nodes and nutrient sensitive. The other plants are growing by the day and eating as much as I can feed.
So I showed the best of the 3 NL and the one that was beat up from the beginning. It looks like a sativa type pheno to me. Not sure though, but those leaves are super skinny and not bushy. I was going to just throw it out but I didn't ha e the heart.
I forgot to take a pic but I did get a shot of the pre flowers already present this week as I changed over to 12/12.nthe plants seemed to start their stretch even as Inhad just tlchangednthe lights everything was getting long and thin and going up.
@Thedudeishereman, I figured she was done when I got up and realized I forgot to move her to greenhouse for the night,,but by next day looked, as if she was chillin in the sun..good daytime highs though,,but surprised..hope she gives you tons of fun and product...enjoy
@Thedudeishereman, she is tough..put one out abit early..this spring..hit 4 degrees C one night,,,and she pulled through in a day, and looked like she was in perfect conditions...love this strain..enjoy..
