Playing a little catch up, we've been documenting just not here...She is currently in her 7th week of veg and we had intended to bring her outside but made the last min decision to flower her early and inside..thanks for following <3.......... Grand Daddy Purple feminized, the auto version was pretty good we're hoping this will be even better, she's growing exceptionally fast <3

She was growing faster than the rest of the seedlings, this was the point we assumed we received yet another mislabeled autoflowering strain from our vendor.. this has been an issue lately.. we don't care for autos but find our veg tent wall to wall with them sometimes.. lucky for us we discovered she wasn't an autoflower <3

she went thru a massive stretch this week... massive....we topped her once at the 3nd node (after the photo) we've been feeding her a little heavier than most but she's responding very well to it, all of them are getting some homemade earthworm tea at this point <3

She took really well to the first topping, we cut the 3rd node and will allow the bottom growth to catch,...no recovery time at all after cutting, she just kept on stretching <3

She started very healthy and grew very quickly, we topped her once at the 3nd node (after 5 nodes), tied the main branches to the side allowing the bottom growth to catch up... we then toped each new top 1 time (after 2 nodes on the new growth), our goal is to creates 12 main top branches...we stripped the bottom 1/2 of the plant bare for now :)

We're still keeping her relatively bare, but as you can see the new growth came in nicely, we have 12-13 main tops now...she's likely getting a little root bound in that pot, she did get a new 6.5 gal home but i think a 10gal pot would be even better for a plant like this... we made sure to grab all the clones we could, she's definitely a keeper

Diary up to date <3 ... she was transplanted yesterday into her final 6.5gallon home, not a day too soon, she was definitely getting a little root bound... we added fresh Promix, EWC and a dash of lime... we may veg for another 2 weeks but ultimately we have to wait until the flowering tent has some space..

We gave her approx. 4 days to warm up to the new pot, a shot of bloom and at first sign of new growth we defoliated and put her in flower..looking forward to her stretch this week😻

She's filling out nicely and is definitely due for a haircut...she has about 1 more week of stretch and in week 3 we like to do a heavy defoliation (and remove the ties). she's currently sharing the flower tent with (and is 10 days behind)our mystery strain... thanks for reading friends 🐱❤️

We just had a plant hermi,we don't know if this was stress induced or genetic,we decided not to flower any of her clones, instead grab new cuttings from this plant in flower, we've never cloned a plant this late before. Should we go 24/0 or 18/6 for fastest re-veg? Thnx in advance

Agreed, 18/6, but don't expect it to happen very quickly, and in my experience, it is very hard to do and not all plants will do it. Trying to successfully clone a plant that is as advanced in flowering like the one in your picture (the left one?) is extremely difficult. By the time they revert you could grow some healthy and well established seedlings, from seed, in the same amount of time. I am not saying that it is impossible, but growing seedlings would just be easier and no doubt, a lot faster. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Week 3 of flower is here, we went a little lighter on defoliation than we typically do, we're worried about too much stress..its been unseasonably hot and keeping temperatures under control has been a real challenge.. we removed a hermi from the tent this week, only time will tell if we got it out of there soon enough.. we cut back on nitrogen and increased P and K slightly... she's looking happy (albeit a little thirsty in a few pics) and we should be cooling down in the coming week.. thanks for reading and happy growing fam 🐱❤️

Meow! Week 4 is upon us! We adjusted her ties this week and removed a few of the larger top fans..her color is nice and uniform..her bud development looks closer to week 3 than 4 but she'll probably start plumping quick in the next week..we lost half of our flower lighting for most the week, we use a dual 315watt and one side of the ballast had a short..we remedied this and ordered another 315watt CMH..now that we have more light than we need, moving from a 4ft an 8ft flowering tent may be in our future... thank for reading and happy growing 🐱 7/12/21- light defoliation thru the center to base and removed some large fans from the top of the main stems

Does anyone else use x2 315watt CMH lights in just a 4x4? Are we overdoing it a little? No bleaching or foxtails and the plants seem happy..curious to hear some opinions. Ty friends!! 🐱

Week 5!!.. she's starting to fill out but getting a little darker than I like so we cut Grow solution this week (keeping bloom nutes consistent), we removed a few top fans and readjusted her ties again..she got a few new roommates but she's a real wide plant but we're doing our best to keep her under direct light..will update with more photos midweek, thanks for reading friends!! 🐱

It does nothing that can be confirmed as effective for all cannabis plants and grown in every condition. I do know however, that extended darkness will slow a plants metabolism to basically zero, and a zero active metabolism can not prevent THC from breaking down. As this is a rather stressful technique, I ask myself - why would anyone want to stress out their plant after weeks/months of careful growing and right before harvest?? It is also completely unnatural. Hope this helps, Organoman.

7/21/21: WEEK 6!!!!! She's looking pretty good and I'm super impressed with how well she has handled the heat, she's doing way better than some sativas we've grown indoors during summer..I think she'll start plumping up this week..we cut growth solution roughly a week ago but she's still pretty dark, I imagine there's a bunch in her media to use up yet.. we noticed a split starting down her main stem so we've released some pressureon the ties and wrappeda plant tie around the base temporarily... we'll update again midweek, thanks for reading and happy growing friends! 🐱❤️💡🌱 7/23/21: hairline split down the main stem has healed already, that's good news... buds are gradually starting to fatten up.. we're still around 85-90f during the day so we may consider reversing our light schedule to run at night but this is something we would do after the GDP is harvested, the other 3 plants in the flower tent are in week 3 and week 1 respectively and would probably deal with the light disruption a little better (just a guess but no sense in rocking the boat this late in flower..ty for reading friends 💓 7/26/21: She's starting to put on some weight 💪😺.. we went camping for the weekend and her buds were noticeably thicker when we returned 2 days later..I uploaded a short video ❤️🐱💡🌱

7/28/21: Week 7 and we found a few beans 😑, apparently we didn't remove the hermi in time but it's not too bad, we can live with a few seeds (it looks like maybe 5% if the plant)...its an interesting cross for sure lol (Green Crack x GDP).. she's still way too dark imo despite having cut all nutrients well over a week ago.. we may flush her this week and just continue the rest of the grow with only water...thanks for reading!! Will update mid week 🐱❤️💡🌱 ... 8/01/21: Trichomes are getting cloudy and the leaves are finally starting to lighten in color.. maybe 1-2 more weeks left before she comes down..we're really excited to try this strain!🐱

We had a plant hermi earlier in the year and it pollinated our GDP a little. Will these seeds produce female plants or plants with high odds of being hermis themselves? Thanks!! 🐱❤️💡🌱

You have a good chance of getting mostly Feminized. But just know they carry the hermie trait, so there is always a chance some of them could easily hermie naturally or under stress. There free seeds tho, and you may get a good pheno out of them. Gorilla Glue #4 was derived from a hermie strain and it's super good!

08/03/21: Week 8!!! Her color is finally starting fade (about time lol) we're hoping she flushes fast from here.. we poked around and seeds don't seem to be as big an issue as once thought..her buds have swelled noticeably in the last 3 days, trichs are mostly cloudy..she's getting close 💪🐱💡🌱 08/05/21: We purchased another new 315watt CMH to replace the 630watt that has been blowing bulbs (we were only running1 bulb in it lately)..the plants seem to do better for us with x2 315 lights spread out than 2 bulbs under the same hood..I'm really liking the wider spacing the clones have, they just finished their flower stretch under 315watts and the nodes are about 2-3 inches apart and not stacked tight like they usually were..we may buy another one of these lights just to have on hand...feel free to leave a comment or any suggestions that might help us improve, thank you for reading and happy growing everyone ❤️💡🌱🐈

8/6/21: Harvest Day!! We'll update the week to "harvest" once everything is dried..My camera scope broke somehow so we're back to using cheap jewelers loupes for now but trichs look completely milky, a few amber spots closer the bud's base, we didn't flush as long as we wanted but I felt it was good to get her chopped down before the heatwave and space is becoming a real issue again... we dry in cardboard boxes, in a room controlled to 65F...we don't usually get bud weights, as its all for personal use but ill try my hardest to get an accurate dry weight before my husband smokes it all lol...Thank you for reading and happy growing everyone! 😽❤️💡🌱

Thought i could change last week to "Harvest" this works too lol....this plant is not a super heavy hitter and despite being an indica dom its actually a pretty good daytime smoke, I've been smoking a little with coffee the last few mornings without it zapping my motivation..would we grow again?..meh..maybe...the weights as usual are approximate..my hubby "eyeballed" half of what was dry and passed it on to family..the remainder of the dry stuff weighed 45 grams.. this is only to last until our next harvest in 2 weeks..thanks for reading and happy growing everyone!!❤️🐱💡🌱
