Hello dear diary,
Seventh planting at Butterflieslittlefarm, this time a new strain from Royal Queen Seeds, Sherbet Queen Automatic.
Along with her on the "farm" are two Mimosa Automatic, also a new strain from the Royal Queen Seeds. I would like to thank them for their support. 🙏
This time I didn't do photos and videos of the whole planting process, every time I do more or less the same thing, so if anyone is particularly interested, they can look at the previously published diaries.
LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP:
Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178
Lights - MIGRO 200+
Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100

A FEW WORDS ABOUT Sherbet Queen Automatic:
Sherbet Queen Automatic outcompetes the vast majority of autoflowering strains when it comes to both flavor and potency. She takes up little space, puts out a worthwhile yield, and delivers an instant high that plunges the mind into a pleasant state.
Sherbet Queen Automatic arrived in her final form with a genetic profile of 65% indica, 30% sativa, and 5% ruderalis.
LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY:
05/05/2021
Planting. After cleaning the Farm (GrowBox), I prepared everything I needed. Soil is a Light-Mix from BioBizz, Fabric Pots, Organic Additives that I mix with soil.
From the beginning of this hobby, I use only organic fertilizers.
I used 11L Fabric pot, to which I added 50g Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, 10g Easy Roots Rhizobacter and 5g Easy Roots Mycorrhizza Mix to the soil and mixed everything well.
After that I soaked the soil well with water, made a small hole, laid the seed inside and lightly covered it with soil.
After planting is completed, they enter their new home. In addition to Sherbet Queen, there are two Mimosa Automatics on the Farm. The temperature in the Box at that time was 24 degrees and the humidity was slightly below 50%, so I will have to put humidifier to raise humidity.
I set the lights 35cm from the pots as Migro recommends.
05 - 09/05/2021
I sprayed the surface of the soil with water a couple of times to keep the soil moisture at the surface.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 60% humidity.
09/05/2021
Sherbet Queen Automatic sprouted.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 58% humidity.
12/05/2021
Watering. I regulated p.H. and 6.2. Sherbet Queen grew 5 cm.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 50% humidity.
We look forward to the next report. See you soon.
Hello Diary.
The first week of vegetation is over, Sherbet Queen Auto is progressing nicely, she has grown 15 cm and looks healthy and satisfied.
In addition to the nutrients that I mixed into the soil at planting, I started adding BioBizz’s Root-Juice.
I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, so the humidity varies between 45% and 55%.
At the sixth “Farm” I overdid it a bit with nutrients, at least as far as Watermelon is concerned, but now I will be adding nutrients much more carefully.
With Sherbet Queen are two more plants on the "Farm," two Mimosa Automatic.
All in all, there is nothing more special to write in these first weeks.
Let's see what the week looked like:
16/05/2021 - Day 1.
Officially the first day of vegetation, so far I have considered it a sprout.
I also watered the plants, p.H. I adjusted to 6.0 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. I watered each plant with about 1 liter of water.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 60% humidity.
20/05/2021 - Day 5.
Watering. p.H I lowered to 6.5 and added BioBizz’s Root-Juice, 4 ml / L.
Also, each plant received a little more than 1 lit.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24 degrees and 40% humidity.
22/05/2021 - Day 7.
Photographing and measuring plant height.
Sherbet Queen Auto - Day 7. - 15 cm
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.2 degrees and 45% humidity.
That’s it for this week, see you soon and thank you all for your support.
Hello Diary,
The second week of vegetation is behind me, Sherbet Queen branched beautifully and reached a height of 28 cm.
She is slightly shorter than her roommate Mimosa, although they sprouted the same day, Mimosa stretched more. The leaves are a beautiful healthy green, and she began to show signs of sex.
Watering is not so frequent, every three to four days. As for the nutrients, this time I will dose it more carefully, I think I overdid it a bit with the previous plants, at least as far as Watermelon is concerned.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
24/05/2021 - Day 9.
Watering. I prepare 6 liters of water, p.H I lowered to 6.4. With that, I watered all three plants more or less evenly. I pour water into a bucket the day before to evaporate the chlorine in the water.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 45% humidity.
28/05/2021 - Day 13.
Watering. This time I put one Easy Grow Booster tablet in 7 liters of water and I reduced the p.H to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 45% humidity.
29/05/2021 - Day 14.
Photography and height measurement. Sherbet Queen Auto - Day 14. - 28 cm
That's all for this week. Happy and satisfied how nice it grows. Thanks to everyone who comes by and looks at the diary.
Hello Diary,
The third and last week of vegetation, Sherbet Queen entered the pre-flowering phase, which can be seen in the photos.
Sherbet Queen and her roommate Mimosa # 1 branched out quite a bit, so it got crowded at “The Farm,” while I picked up Mimosa # 2, which sprouted a few days later, closer to the light.
Sherbet Queen grew a total of 47 cm, almost 20 cm in a week.
The plant has taken on a nice shape, at the end of next week I plan to do a defoliation, I think it will suit them, and I will improve the airflow through the plants.
Flowers began to form which can be seen by the light green leaves at the end of the branches.
Watering is every two to three days when each plant gets about 2 liters of water. I am much more careful with adding nutrients than in the last case so I only added Bio Grow from BioBizz with one watering.
Let’s see what it looked like last week.
31/05/2021 - Day 16.
Watering. p.H. water I regulated with Plagron’s Lemon Kick at 6.4. I prepared a total of 6 liters of water with which I evenly watered all three plants.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 41% humidity.
02/06/2021 - Day 18.
Watering. This time, too, I added nothing but regulating p.H. water at 6.3
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 46% humidity.
05/06/2021 - Day 21.
Watering, height measurement and photography. This time I added CalMg and BioGrow preventively. p.H I dropped to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 55% humidity.
Plant height at the end of the third week of vegetation
Sherbet Queen Auto - Day 21. - 47 cm
That’s it for this week. Next week I have a little action on the Farm, see you soon with a new report.
Hello Diary.
Sherbet Queen has entered the first week of flowering. It has grown over 70 cm and is very branched and full of leaves.
So on the 28th day I cleaned it up a bit. I removed the leaves and branches at the bottom of the stem, now the air flow through the plant itself will be much better.
The plant is very nicely shaped with a solid stalk, the flowers began to form at the ends of the branches.
Watering has become more frequent, every two days I water with about 2 liters of water.
This week I added only one Easy Bloom Booster tablet to stimulate flowering and I adjusted the p.H to a value around 6.3 and at one watering I added CalMg preventively.
The conditions on the Farm are in line with the summer months. The temperature is slightly higher, 28 degrees and the humidity is around 50%.
It is expected that the temperature will increase in the coming time, considering the temperatures during the summer.
I also changed the light mode, I put 4 hours of darkness and 20 hours of light.
For now, Sherbet Queen looks beautiful, happy and proud.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
08/06/2021 - Day 24.
Watering. I put one Easy Bloom Booster tablet in 6 liters of water and lowered the pH to 6.5. With that, I evenly watered all three plants that are on the “Farm”.
Since the last watering was three days ago, the branches and leaves were very droopy which is an indication that they were very very thirsty.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.5 degrees and 45% humidity.
10/06/2021 - Day 26.
Watering. I prepared 7 lit, lowered the p.H to 6.2 and did not add any other nutrients.
12/06/2021 - Day 28.
End of the fourth week. I did defoliation on all three plants on the “Farm,” so did Sherbet Queen. I think a new look will suit her.
I photographed the plants, measured the height and then watered them. This time I added 1.5ml / lit of CalMg preventively.
That’s it for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
It ended the second week of flowering on my little Farm. Sherbet Queen has become the lowest plant on the Farm. Both of her roommates, Mimosa, outgrew her.
But honestly, Sherbet Queen looks the most beautiful of all three plants.
The plant has received its final form and now it remains to develop flowers that are already covered with trichomes which gives them the snowy appearance.
The branches are not elongated as in Mimosas so the flowers nicely cover the branches, especially the main cola.
We’ll see how the flowers continue to form and fill in, but for now, all is well, this time I don’t have any problems on the farm.
Watering is now every two days, I added CalMg preventively twice and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet.
Conditions at the "Farm" are not ideal, the temperature is around 29 degrees which is expected given the summer months.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
14/06/2021 - Day 30.
Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, I regulated p.H. at 6.5, added 1.5 ml / lit CalMg and one Easy Bloom Booster tablet. With that, I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.6 degrees and 40% humidity.
16/06/2021 - Day 32.
Watering. I lowered the p.H to 6.2 and added 1.5 ml / lit CalMg.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 50% humidity.
18/06/2021 - Day 34.
Watering. This time I didn't add any extras, I just lowered the p.H to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 50% humidity.
19/06/2021 - Day 35.
Photography and height measurement.
Sherbet Queen Auto - 88 cm
That’s all for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
We have reached the end of the third week of flowering, Sherbet Queen is already a real beauty.
She reached 89 cm which is one cm more than last week which means she has reached her final height.
The flowers fill nicely, the scent is more and more intense and they stick to the fingers to the touch.
The leaves are dark green in color and shine in the light.
I cleaned the lower part of the plant earlier so that there is a good flow of air through the plant itself.
Impressive plant, shape, height, ideal dimensions for my Farm.
I water the plants every two days, they drink really a lot of water. This week I added Bio Grow, Bio Bloom and Alg-a-Mic from BioBizz to one watering.
The temperature is around 29 degrees, during the day it even rises a little above 30 degrees, but so it is in summer, I hope it will not cause stress to the plants.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
20/06/2021 - Day 36.
Watering. I added 1ml / lit CalMg to 8 liters of water, I lowered the p.H. at 6.5 and with that amount evenly watered all three plants.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 60% humidity.
22/06/2021 - Day 38.
Watering. This time I just regulated p.H at 6.3. I did not add any nutrients.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 47% humidity.
24/06/2021 - Day 40.
Watering. I added Bio Grow 1.5 ml / lit, Bio Bloom 1 ml / lit and Alg-a-Mic 1ml / lit. p.H. I dropped to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 52% humidity.
26/06/2021 - Day 42.
Watering and photography. p.H. I dropped to 6.5.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 45% humidity.
That’s all from me for this week, thank you all for your support, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
Here we are in the seventh week of the cycle, the fourth week of flowering.
Sherbet Queen is making great progress, the flowers are filling up, and they already have a strong smell. I really have nothing negative to write, as you can see in the photos, everything is great.
I gave her some food this week, I added an Easy Bloom Booster tablet and I added BioBizz on two occasions. I stopped adding CalMg since the plants show no signs of a deficiency of these minerals.
I had to connect a few branches with the pipe cleaners, they started to tilt from the weight.
The temperature is in line with the summer months, slightly higher than ideal. Humidity is satisfactory, around 50%.
Here's what the week looked like.
28/06/2021 - Day 44.
Watering. I lowered p.H. at 6.3 and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet to a total of 8 liters of water. With that amount I watered all three plants that are on the Farm.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 49% humidity.
30/06/2021 - Day 46.
Watering. This time I added BioBizz. I added 8 liters of water
Alg-a-Mic - 10 ml
BioGrow - 15 ml
Top Max - 7 ml
Bio Bloom - 10 ml
I adjusted p.H to 6.4 and with that amount I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 32 degrees and 38% humidity.
02/07/2021 - Day 48.
Watering. p.H I adjusted to 6.2 and added Bio Bloom 2ml / lit, Top Max 1 ml / lit and Alg-a-Mic 1.5 ml / lit.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 47% humidity.
03/07/2021 - Day 49.
Photography.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity.
Well, that's all for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary.
Here we are at the end of the 8th week, the fifth week of flowering is over. Last week I was on vacation so the Farm was taken care of by a friend who watered the plants and took photos.
I didn’t want to bother him with pulling the plants out of the grow-box so the photos were taken inside the grow-box which didn’t give him much opportunity to photograph the whole plant in detail.
Sherbet Queen after not seeing her for 8 days looks great. The flowers are nicely filled and look like they are made of velvet. The scent is sweet fruity and the flowers are sticky to the touch.
Some larger leaves began to change color to light green and yellow, they began to show the first signs that they were coming to an end.
Next week I will start tracking the color of the trichome with a microscope though it is still too early but just in case.
The temperature in the grow-box is slightly higher than 29 degrees during the day and the humidity is slightly lower than 50% which is ok.
The temperature is higher due to the summer months but thank god for the great ice lighting, the Migro, which doesn’t heat up the grow box too much.
Watering is still every two days when each plant gets about 2.5 liters of water. I stopped adding nutrients, from now on only water with regulated p.H between 6.2 and 6.5.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
05/07/2021 - Day 51.
Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water and adjusted the p.H to 6.4. With that amount of water, I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.3 degrees and 45% humidity.
07/07/2021 - Day 53.
Watering. Procedure as two days ago.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29.4 degrees and 50% humidity.
09/07/2021 - Day 55.
Watering. Same procedure as before.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 48% humidity.
10/07/2021 - Day 56.
Photography.
I hadn’t seen the plants all week, when I got back I was pleasantly surprised by the progress. Next week I will take better photos again so it will be seen where we have come. See you soon.
Hello Diary.
We have reached the 9th week, 6 weeks of flowering and I think we are nearing the end. My estimate is another week until harvest.
I look the situation with trichomes every day, most of them are milky, when I notice that some brown ones appear here and there, it is time to harvest.
Along with Sherbet Queen on the “Farm” are two Mimosa Auto, which have grown huge, over 110cm so it’s pretty crowded in the grow-box. That's why it became quite difficult for me to take them out of the grow box so as not to damage them.
The color of the leaves slightly takes on a lighter green color which slowly becomes yellowish, the flowers are nicely filled, they are big and heavy so I had to connect the plant a bit to the stick and fabric pot to stabilize it and prevent the branches from cracking.
The temperature was high this week, around 30 degrees, and this is caused by the great heat outside which was above average this week.
Humidity is a little above 50%, which is more than would be ideal, the cause is also heat, so the soil evaporates more and releases moisture.
I have two fans that blow for 24 hours and thus prevent the potential occurrence of mold or similar problems. Ventilation also works at maximum power.
Watering is still every two days, and more or less that’s all that happened this week, I’m patiently waiting for the harvest.
Here is a brief overview of the week.
11/07/2021 - Day 57.
Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, p.H I adjusted to 6.4 and watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 50% humidity.
13/07/2021 - Day 59.
Watering. Same procedure as two days earlier.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 55% humidity.
15/07/2021 - Day 61.
Watering. p.H - 6.2
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 53% humidity.
17/07/2021 - Day 63.
Watering and photography.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 60% humidity.
That’s it for this week, a little more and there will be a harvest, I can’t wait for next week. Until then, enjoy.
Hello Diary.
We have reached the end of this journey. Ten weeks in total, three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering, a total of 78 days since Sherbet Queen sprouted.
Last week there were no surprises, I watered the plants regularly and observed the development of trichomes.
As all three plants started to show here and there some brown trichomes at the end of the week, I decided on the 71st day to harvest.
All in all I am very pleased with the look of the plant, it has developed nicely, the flowers are large and juicy and the smell is citrusy diesel.
I had to connect the branches well because they started to bend a lot due to the weight, so I was afraid they would break because I wanted to place it nicely for the last photo shoot.
It will now dry upside down for at least two weeks in the dark. The ventilation will stay on to make the airflow better.
The condition in the grow box is satisfactory, the temperature is around 29 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 50%, and one fan blows all the time, mixing the air in the box.
Here’s what the last week looked like.
19/07/2021 - Day 65.
Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and with 8 liters of water I watered all three plants evenly.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 51% humidity.
21/07/2021 - Day 67.
Watering. p.H 6.4. Same procedure as two days earlier.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 41% humidity.
23/07/2021 - Day 69.
Last watering. p.H I dropped to 6.4.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity.
25/07/2021 - Day 71.
Photography and Harvest. After taking photos and video, I cut off the plant at the bottom of the stalk and hung it in a grow-box to dry in the dark.
Whenever I write a report from the last week, some nostalgia overwhelms me after the harvest. Yet during that time you take care of that plant, send it positive energy, and hope it will reward you richly.
In this case, I think I succeeded. See you soon with the final report.
Sherbet Queen Auto deserves only praise. I really haven’t had any problems during these little over ten weeks. And in the end I got above average yield.
I wrote earlier but I will repeat the basic information:
81 days from when it sprouted until it was harvested.
3 weeks of vegetation.
7 weeks of flowering.
14 days drying
70 g total yield.
1 Sherbet Queen plant.
In the end it grew almost 90 cm which is almost ideal for the height of my grow box which is a total of 180 cm high.
All ten or so weeks passed without any problems, and in the end it produced large hard flowers with a sweet scent.
After 14 days of drying in a grow box in the dark, I did the final trimming after the check I weighed the dried flowers and put them back in the jars.
I also added moisture fighters to the jars that will regulate the moisture during final curing in the jars.
And here we are at the end, Sherbet Queen is definitely a recommendation to everyone, I have no doubt you will enjoy the sweet smokes if you opt for this strain. I made an effort to write as much information as possible to help future growers on their journey.
Thank you all for the comments and a big thank you to James from RQS for the great support.
See you soon.
