the end of week 3 is here finally and she is still alive. This week i had some issues with my grow tent temp/RH when the temps reached 90F outside. No central air only wall a/c so the temps got hot in here and tent temps peaked 92F while humidity was bouncing between 42%-78%. After purchasing a window a/c to help tent and surrounding area i achieved a stable 73-75F/50-55% RH with humidifier 43-45% RH without humidifier.. I took my 4" duct tube i still had left, ziptied one end to the vent and ran the duct into the tent and down the back pole so air reached the bottom. (i have no duct vent on bottom only mesh screens.) I hope this works for when i get the heat wave july 1st. besides the above part was a easy week. She is most likely stunted from everything she has gone through but is still moving along. On day 15 i topped her and snipped off 1 top fan leaf as she is so small i wanted light to reach the bottom nodes atleast. Day 16 i started lst of the main cola to get the other nodes light [ i was going to leave her alone but the progress the bottom nodes were making did not please me enough]. day 17 i switched to the lst method of yarn [[ my trusted method]] instead of soft ties---- ((first time using soft ties and tried the in soil lst i see people use but when i did it the tie wasn't firm in soil))---- . day 20 i did lst on the entire plant hoping for the best. lastly day 21 adjusted lst on some plants and top dressed soil with a total: 2tbs espoma bulb tone and 2.5 tbs espoma bio-starter for the 3G pot ---- low tbs top dressing this feeding due to the soil i used during transplant was left over mix soil with espoma dry amends so she had a light feeding week 2 and a good feeding week 3.

Does anyone dehydrate their plants during flowering? if so does it actually make a difference with trichomes, i've seen people say it doesnt really help then some swear by it. thank you, cheers.

Any stress you subject the plants too is going to harm their health. Harm the plants health and then causes trichome degradation, not enhancement. It would be like hitting yourself in the head with a sledgehammer right before doing an exam, believing the extra blood and hurt will make you think better! Why anyone would purposely stress their plants after 3-4 months of careful growing and right before harvest is beyond me! Healthy plant = healthy cannabinoids. It can be no other way. This is another urban myth, perpetuated by people who don't understand basic plant biology. Just like giving molasses, which does nothing directly for your plant and is another ridiculous urban myth. Just like extended darkness, another urban myth that just stresses your plant and leads to trichome degradation due to an almost comatosed metabolism, and does not, can not, in any way improve trichome quality. Hope this helps, Organoman.
