Week one went better than expected. Had ideal condition in my basement. Mixed soil with about 1/3 perlite. Wet soil til it seeped out than planted. Been spraying with water bottle 1-2 times a day after that
Everything good so far. When planting seed on day 3 I watered until it seeped out the bottom then put seeds in. Sprayed with water once or twice a day when top seemed dry. Day 8 was dry so I watered again til water came out the bottom. Day 9 leaves have slight curl at the tips so moved light up about 3/4” to 3”. Not sure if it’s from light too close or not. Don’t think it’s much to worry about yet.
Start of week 2 of veg.
Used 6.5 bags of 1.5cf ffof and 2 bags 2 cf perlite
Day 8 veg- Still slight curl to leaf serrations still not worried yet. Growth looks good day to day. Not much height yet but leaves seem to be growing well.
Day 11 veg- decided to transplant into garden. Got nervous about stunting growth in cup and figured better to do it a little early than late. Filled bed and soaked entire medium at 11am. Trans at 8pm. Went ok think could have done little smoother. Little top heavy two flopped over at first
Day 12 veg- one flopped over again so I buried stems little more almost up to first leaf for support. Big difference in support. Spent day in good sun but high 87 temp. Covered with screen for a few hrs in middle of day. Leaf serrations stopped curling. Used toothpicks for added support
Day 13 veg- about day and a half after transplant seeing good growth. Don’t think too much shock. Plants look good
-Start of week 3 veg seems good. Average height of plants is 4 inches on day one. One plant is the runt. Only one day of set back with transplant.
- week three had heatwave about 95 for four days straight. Plants grew 4 inches this week. Finally got ph meter and water is about 7-7.5. Got ph down for week 4. Plants seem healthy but think they are a little behind on growth. Basing this on what I’ve read and seen on other diaries but hard to tell having no grow experience. Don’t plan on using nutrients till about week five. Think ffof will be enough since I transplanted at week two. Was gonna try lst but think I will let these grow out. Will re-evaluate start of week 4. All things considered I think it’s going ok
Didn’t have time to label photos. Weather has been less than ideal. 5 days of 92+ temps followed by 4 days of rain and 60’s. Set up tarp for the rain and used seedling lamp and led work light in desperation. I believe caterpillars eating one plant. Found and killed one and now treating with bonide neem oil. Haven’t needed to water in over a week. Just ordered nutrients for flower stage. Decided mid way through week four to lst 3 plants, the two small ones and second tallest one, to experiment. I know it’s late but we’ll see what happens. I feel like there isn’t many nodes/bud sights so concerned about yield but overall I think it’s been ok. Some plants started to flower mid week and two still not quite yet at end of week
Poor weather continued this week. Rain and cloudy almost all day everyday. When it’s not rain it’s 90+ temp. Most rain in this month then ever recorded. One plant seems to be about a week ahead of the others. LST one three plants is going ok. Of the two I’m not LST one is still growing at a good pace while the other is more into budding then vertical growth. Taller plant 25” shorter is 16”. Found what I think is a plant hopper. Started nutrients. Only watered once (with nutes) because of all the rain/moisture.
Pretty good week. Still had some rain but had some good weather for a few days. Lots of growth in what I think is the stretch (didn’t know about the stretch until it happened and I looked it up). Plant that flowered early is getting fuller nugs and the other plants are still growing and nugs getting bigger. The one plant I had some issues with for most the grow seems to be getting bigger and adding bud sites and looks better everyday. Have a decent smell to them. Found a few beetles over the week. Wondering if that’s what’s eating leaves but who knows. Overall I think plants are healthy so stopped worrying so much about bugs
Week 7 went well. Had some good weather. I went away for four days, watered (no nutes) day before I left and think they had a little rain one day while I was gone. Buds have been getting fatter and look healthy. Think I might do water/nutes tomorrow ( 4/5 days after last water) then maybe one more round of nutes before I start flush. Will research when to stop nutes for next update
Some good weather this week. Haven’t done anything but water(6.5ish). Gonna do nutrients one more time at next water then start flush. Buds have been getting a little fatter. Smells good and decently strong. My guess is harvest will be around week 11-12
I flushed for about week and a half. Getting ready to harvest. Two plants are more ahead of the others and both have a little bud rot so will harvest beginning of week 11
Had to harvest a little early. Started getting bud rot. Probably lost about 1/4oz to rot. Had terrible year to grow. Had record rains. Would like tighter fatter bud but overall came out good. Smooth smoke and get high. Other people have liked it. Was hoping to just end up with anything on n my first try and I exceeded my expectations. Looking for significant yield improvement next year. Don’t think I’m gonna lst next time. Best plant I just left alone
@hepoberman,no extra light. I’ve had terrible weather last 2 weeks. 5 days 92,4 days rain, 3 days 95, 2 days rain. In desperation during 4 day rain I used seedling light and work light. I cover during heavy rains. First grow so don’t know what to expect. Battling what I believe to be caterpillar problem. Just hoping to make it to harvest with something.
Que maravilha ✌️
Boa sorte no cultivo e aproveita o desenvolvimento 👍
E no final que tenhas uma grande colheita 🌱🌱
