These two OG Kush plants have almost doubled in height in the past week (4.5 to almost 9 inches). Applied LST to them today. The OGK in the dirt is a little bit smaller than the OGK in my smart pot with happy frog soil. My OGK in the smart pot had a weakened stem from some wind (?) damage when younger. I am hoping it does ok with the LST! The weather continues to be wet and humid. However, we have had a few sunny days with very high UV index. I applied a light layer of grass clippings to the soil while it was dry out. I have removed the remaining clippings as the weather is getting rainy again. I have a ton of wild grape vines around my yard. I decided to try doing a tea with them. I tore and crumpled up some leaves and soaked them in some small cups with water and a small amount of molasses for a few days and cycled this twice.

@Fast_Buds, thank you very much for your offer! This is my 1st time growing and I think I dodged a proverbial bullet here. The weather turned cold and rainy right after popping these in the ground, but it looks like they ALL may make it!

Congrats and too bad about the rain. I realized this year that rain can actually knock trichomes off the plant so rain during late stage flowering is bad not just because of the risk of mould. That’s an advantage of growing in bags because you can move them out of the rain (or into the sunlight) when needed. Better luck next year. Cheers.
