📆20th July - Week 6

A little of a different update for this one. So this girl was the least abused out of the 3.
She is picking up growth now since I started letting the coco dry out. She is where I like my autos to be around the week 4. We are in week 6.
Thankfully she will keep stretching for 1-2 more days I expect as little bud sites are starting to show up at the tips.

A recap on the problems and a few things learnt from this grow.
1.) I won’t transplant autos, that’s not saying you can’t just I won’t do it again. I’ve successfully transplanted autos in the past in coco with no issues but it really not worth it.
2.) I will never water coco everyday when they’re seedlings. They simply don’t need it. Unless you’re in a 100g bag or something of that small size coco definitley can be overwatered.
3.) Buffered Canna coco doesn’t need any more calcium at a seedling stage, contrary to belief if it’s buffered correctly then there should be enough for the first few weeks and then enough in most nutrient brands unless using RO of course.
@PharmaZ, you've given me a heart attack reading that. Hopefully I can get this right just worried about ec levels. They seem to low. So will the coco hold onto the Organic nutrients longer than the other nutrients? Will avoid watering everyday and just when it needs it
@OrganicNature420, yeees, Big mistake. This grow is killing me😂
But I have learned some things from my mistakes...
If you are going to grow in coco with Green Buzz do not water them everyday as seedlings they don’t need it. The organic nutrients PH shifts upwards over time... so you basically feed at 5.8-6.0 after a few days the PH in the Coco rises which is good thing and more natural than having a fixed Ph or rapid Ph fluctuation.
I add Calmag 0.4ec still this buffers the water so when you add the other nutrients you don’t get rapid PH swings in the solution either.
It’s not the same as using chemical/salt based nutrient in coco as they need to be continuously flushed and also with the chemical nutrients there isn’t the same organic/microbe synergy.
Some things to think about 🤔 😃
Ps: I’ve watered the seedlings everyday and transplanted them that’s why this grow is fucked up, in the past I grew them like soil until they were big and needed that everyday feeding :)
