This is another plant that was intended to go outdoors but we changed our minds..instead we're going to finish her in an 18gal under the HID and will document..we have absolutely no idea what this strain is (seed mixup) but best guess is Green Crack ( or Grandaddy Purple, Power Plant or maybe Pineapple Express lol)....We're using Promix amended with perlite and EWC the entire grow...This is her 4th week, and we're pruning her.. we like to keep the insides of most our plants hollow, we're training this one to grow at a 45 degree angle and will keep the bottom 1/3 or more bare the entire run..new growth developed 3 days later...thanks for reading and happy growing :)..
She's growing pretty fast at this point,..we're still trying to keep her at a 45 and the main shoots free of any side branches....we aim to make a level canopy in flower about 2-3ft wide and the bottom half clean 😻👌... We're giving all the plants earthworm tea and she's up to 2 feedings a week at this stage because her color was starting to wash out ..she's going to be transplanted to her final (18gallon) home in about a week :) ,..
She was transplanted into her final home (18 gallon), we added extra EWC to her new Promix..she's still having some nutrient uptake issues (definitely getting enough to eat)..we decided to drop her PH to 5.0 to see if this helps and we decided to hold off on flowering her until her color looks a little better... we gave a small dose of bloom, we like to do this 1-2 weeks before the start of flower with all our plants.. thanks for reading, happy growing 😻
Her color is looking better (my camera makes the plant look a little more lime green than it actually is) but with the amount of N going in there she should be much darker imo...we decided to go ahead and flower her anyway..we go thru and remove any large fan leaves, small/lower growth beforehand ....she has been receiving bloom nutrients for almost 2 weeks by this point and we have a spot already cleared for her 😻
We decided to pull out the trellis net, strip and bend her...we'll strip her again on week 3 or 4 of flower..photos like this tend to make our friends cringe but the plant doesn't seem to mind.. despite how they look after the first day of flower they always bounce back in 2-3 days more beautiful than ever <3 ...we dropped N supplements and increased bloom.. keeping PH at 5 seemed to completely fix her uptake issues...thanks for reading and happy growing everyone!! 😻
She's stretching really well however there's a lot of crowded growth that will have to be removed when we schwazze her for the 2nd time next week...her color looks good, she's growing fast, this plant has a ton of promise... i really hope we're able to decipher the strain by the end lol...happy growing everyone
Week 3 and time for her 2nd (and last) defoliation, bud sites are forming and her color looks soooo much better than it did 3 weeks ago, she's a very happy plant this week... we removed a pile of small crowded side branches to give space and promote wide colas to develop, we also removed the trellis net and will let her growth/shape finish naturally until harvest...thanks for reading and happy growing everyone!!
PS: For anyone reading our grows, PLEASE comment suggestions, tips or things that you would do differently...our goal is to become the best but we can't do that without input...thank you in advance 😻😻
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Hermi!!!! Our beautiful mystery plant is sporting pollen sacks.. she just went on a field trip.. we're closing this diary out.. we'll let her finish naturally outside and salvage what we can for edibles and bubble hash... a very depressing outcome to a lot of work and training... we don't know if this was genetic or stress induced and have about 3 medium sized plants cloned from her in veg atm.. we're hesitant to flower any of them, instead we're taking all new clones from our GDP thats in 3rd week of flower, hoping for a fast re-veg... thanks for reading..be sure to inspect your plants diligently friends..happy growing
@guerilla, thanks... we went out to visit her today in the field and pull off any new pollen sacks/ throw some water on her and to our surprise we couldn't find any...we're going to keep a close eye on her, we may still get some decent smoke (albeit a little seedy) off her.. fingers crossed <3
Thank you @Secretflower ! 😻... We took this one out to the field and no new pollen sacks but she started to reveg...it really sucks but we decided to put anything she yields into the bubble hash pile 🐱❤️💡🌱
