Northern_Ent Seeds started in glass with distilled water. Some transplanted directly to final containers...the Smoothies were fine with direct start but several others did not take. Nights are too cool here to do direct soil sowing and the seeds do better overnight inside.
Northern_Ent July 20: three Smoothies started at the same time have wildly different growth. The small one I likely botched the transplant, but the other two are quite different. For these ones it might be how hot the roots got during the heat wave in early July.
Oh and it’s still cool and smokey after the heat wave in late June - early July which came after the five days near zero C in mid-May. Outdoor growing in Alberta has its challenges.
Northern_Ent Cool, now we can add methods.
Aug 24: rained last 24 hours. All gentle but about 40 mm.

Northern_Ent Sep 9: these plants are not very good for outdoor here. There are many (numerous?) phenotypes and yet they all seem overly sensitive to weather extremes.
GSC, Gorilla Glue or Pineapple Express are better choices from Fast Buds for outdoor. Northern Lights and OG Kush are also great choices.

Northern_Ent Sep 16: these are the last two late Smoothies. They were the slowest to start and will be the last to finish. Nice and smelly but physically not a nice pheno.
Harvested the last two Smoothies on Sep 26 Day 104 but forgot to take pics.
Nice enough indica smoke but I’m disappointed with Smoothie as an outdoor plant. There were several phenotypes with some being better than others. We had a rough season with temperatures ranging from near 0 C to as high as 37 C during the historic ‘heat dome’ in June. I also don’t 100% know these are legit Fast Buds seeds as it was not in the original packaging as Fast Buds doesn’t ship to Canada and it had to be shipped discreetly. Weight is estimated as it is going for hash, but these later ones were slightly bigger than my early season Smoothies.

Northern_Ent Harvest form has changed and now I can’t enter dry weight or Sativa vs Indica percentages. Final dry weight is about 40 g per plant and it’s almost entirely an Indica.
I noticed you're using a banana peel tea...my grandmother had just sent me a video on making this..i had never heard of it before a few weeks ago but it makes perfect sense as a bloom supplement...good luck, following! 🐱❤️💡🌱
@Kitties_and_Colas, the organic nutrients are working great. Banana peel tea was my addition to FFJ (fermented fruit juice) which is from Korean Natural Farming. Apparently most of the K (and P) is in the peel. Just a jar filled with enough water to submerge the peels and kept in the fridge for about a week as you eat the bananas. Seems to run about 1200 ppm TDS and is usually used at 1:10 dilution in watering, but I mainly use it as part of the KNF foliar spray. Buds are great this year so it seems to be working. 😎
