CG420 The good stuff is starting, we already have our Somango XL from Royal Queen Seeds in the ground. This time I've decided to put the maximum number of plants in the grow... we want to leave 16, and try to make a sea of Green. We water with rooting agent in small amounts and very often. 💪💚

CG420 The little ones are already peeking out, in the end, we have 17 plants inside just in case there are any losses, and we weren't going to kill any either. 😌💚 I've started using growth fertilizers from Plagron, we use Alga Grow as a base and some complementary additives like Power Zym, Vita Rice, and a rooting agent from Top Crop for them. Soon I'll do an apical cut at the 3rd-4th node. We're on it! 💪

CG420 After the top cut at the 3rd node, the plants have continued to grow well. In some cuttings, the string has forced the cutting too much and almost broke it, but it doesn't seem to have affected them. We're still watering with the growth additives, watering quite often in small amounts. Other than that, everything's great, just waiting to see those apicals pop up. 💪

CG420 The last week of growth begins, we opted to change the light fixture to a 600w lec, it's the first time I'm using this light and I hope to get good results. The plants don't seem to have taken it badly, they're growing at a good pace. We're still at it 💪

CG420 After leaving them in the dark for 36 hours, this is how the little ones have woken up. We started the flowering phase and are still using Vita Race via foliar, we switched the base fertilizer to Plagron's Alga Bloom along with Pure Zym. Let's hope to see the results!

I would cut the lower portions out and defoliation on any leaves covering bud site unless it is super thick. Then thin out a bit. I don't cut too much out because they are the plants source of energy. Good luck

I would stick to a steady watering schedule. They are really thirsty now and hungry for potassium and phosphorous. If you watered heavy you could likely get away a day. Just immediately water upon return. Every day is best at this important development stage. Good luck and happy growing 🌱🌱🌱

CG420 We're starting the second week of flowering, after a daily defoliation this is how we've left the little ones. They've made a notable stretch, almost reaching double the size from the initial day of flowering. We're still watering with the Plagron additives... the plants are growing healthy. I hope that throughout this week the plant starts to show its first flowers. 💪 - On day 11 of flowering, the plants are starting to show their first flowers, they've stretched almost to 1.5m... the plants are bushy and completely fill the cabinet... they really are XL... let's hope to see those flowers turn out amazing too. We're doing a final watering of Vita Race via foliar, and next week we'll start with Top Candy from Top Crop.

I use a 500Watt Master Pursuit by Growers Choice. If your going to use the CMH then get the 3KR bulb for flowering. It high in red spectrum and is made for flowering stage. To be honest the LEC/CMH lamps do good for flowering with a 3KR bulb but HID will still give bigger yields. But with LEC/CMH you get less heat, more trichromes production, more flavor terps, more color from your plants if it's in the Genetics, and a better product for pressing rosin. If you want yield over everything HID is better. If you want less heat, more Flavor /taste, bag appeal, and for rosin presses, LEC/CMH is the way to go. I'd also like to say LED gives the the most dense highest THC count. But the light penetration only goes thru the canopy about 12 inches.

CG420 Many buds are starting to show... it's not flowering at a great speed, but being so big, they need a bit more time to produce all those buds we desire... CG420 We're entering a new week. The little plants are already producing some denser buds. Some hairs have burned due to the high concentration of nutrients. We've had to put stakes on some of the plants since their stems were a bit flexible and were resting on top of other plants. Even so, the plants are healthy and continue to bloom eagerly... let's hope to see those buds fatten up. We added pk13-14 to our watering solution. We're still at it 💚💪.

CG420 We are already in the final weeks of flowering, the plants are becoming resinous again and with pretty dense buds all over the plant, both at the tips and the internodal buds. In these last few days, the swelling of the buds has been noticeable, reaching the size of a can at several tips. We'll wait for them to finish maturing well; some of them are already starting the root washing, while the others need to mature a bit more. 💚 On the last day of week 13, we finished the cycle with one of the little ones. 💚

CG420 Somango Xl has been one of the best strains I've selected for growing. It had normal growth without suffering any kind of stress from the apical cuts. During flowering, it continued to grow, living up to its name, and they really turned into some true XL plants, reaching the point where I had to raise the light to the maximum height of the tent. The tips have managed to join several nodes. Making these some big, resin-covered tips. Great strain! 💚
