Defoliation just reduces your plants capacity to produce energy, slowing growth and leading to (potentially) smaller yields. Try spreading the lowest branches outwards a bit more and everything should be fine. She won't mind being disturbed if done now. It's hard to tell from the picture and my bad eyes, but I'm going to say yes. Should be hairs growing not ball shapes. But it doesn't hurt to give it another day while you get and germinate new seeds.
