Didn't update last week because I had an unexpected, almost catastrophic run in with some slime. It has been very hot here and my Rez temps were creeping up into the 70s and I didn't want to go as heavy as I had been on the h202 and UC roots for fear of nuking these little sprouts.
This time last week all the leaves were very yellow and wilty and the little bits of root showing actually we're so weak they ripped off when I tried to rinse the slime out. One week on this biological agent Miicrobial Mass Pro and they have done a full 180. I had played around with biological agents before with compost tea and such, but man for what a bottle of this stuff costs it's a no brainer over the opportunity cost of screwing around brewing tea every week.
@2Byte,
Cost is definitely an important factor to consider. I don't have extra money to throw into this, so trying to be cost efficient as possible. The pump I'm using comes from Harbor Freight and cost $11. Can with some ingenuity attack a 3/16 air line to it to use az your feed line.
Definitely gives the girls a head start in life and you will not need to readjust bucket solution height during the grow. I just start off with about a 1" gap below the basket.
@Captainonthego,
I've definitely thought about it, but I don't really have another $100 to spend on another pump for the top feed without attracting wife agro. I'm also running this whole setup off of one bathroom GFCI and don't want to put too much more on the one circuit
@medaddypig, bruh you saved my life. Piece of shit yellow PH pen was telling me 6.1, tried to calibrate and it fucked up, ended up buying a new pen and it was at 3!
Good luck with your grow I hope you get the best taste of buds and healthy plants! Take care and stay lit! I will drop by sometimes to check on your process! Say hello if you ever visit my page!
Greetings from L.S.T 🙏🏼🌟
