Day 1 - After 6 days of germinating and planting, this little one finally poked its head out. She’s got some catching up to do, as the two green crack plants are well on their way and I’m hoping to send all into flower at the same time! Here we go!
Day 2 - I’ve decided that I’m going to keep her in the solo cup until it has a better root structure. Then I’ll use some Mycorrhizae to transplant!
Day 4 - She doesn’t seem to like the solo cup and it’s a bit of a b**** to maintain in there. Have to be delicate with the water. Seems to be doing well though!
Day 8 (July 5th) - Waiting….
Day 10 - So there hasn’t been much to update since my last post on this diary. Essentially just waiting for the root system to build in the cup. Yesterday I decided it was time to repot. I used Mycorrhizae to transplant into the 5 gallon fabric pots. Myco helps roots establish when being transplanted. This lady is in her new permanent home. I need to adjust the blumats over the next couple of days and hopefully she can catch up to the Green Crack twins in the tent 🤞🏼
Day 12: Still looking healthy and happy! Really hoping this girl explodes over the next week. Really need her to catch up.
Day 14: Soil was a bit too moist this morning, so I adjusted my blumats. Still looking happy and healthy!
Day 15 (July 12th): Still rockin’! Not quite catching up to the others just yet, but coming along nicely!
Day 16: Here we go… grew almost 3 inches today.
Day 19: This lady is really stretching. Good to see cause I need it to reach the trellis in the next week or two. LST starts tomorrow!
Day 21: What a week for this girl. She’s really done some stretching early on. Happy with the progress. A couple more weeks and the room needs to go to flower. Her sisters are much bigger and waiting!
Day 22 (July 19th): This plant is hella healthy! Although the humidity is high in the room, this plant is taking it all in!
Day 25: Because her sisters are much larger and older, the humidity in the room is getting to be too much. This room gets flipped to flower next week, so my main focus is getting the humidity down ASAP!
Day 29 (July 26th): serious humidity and temp issues in the grow room right now
Day 35: So this plant has been kicked out of the grow room. The green crack plants were taking up a lot of space and were FAR ahead of this plant. This is now an outdoor grow for this girl and she’s loving it so far!
Day 36 (August 2nd): not much to really do with this girl. Supersoil mix and an outdoor grow. Basically set it and forget it.
Day 40: Some minor defoliation today, but that’s about it. She has the premium spot in the yard to get maximum sun and you can tell she’s taking it all in.
Day 42: We’ve been getting some serious rain the last week but she’s holding up great so far!
Day 43 (August 9th): This weather is all over the place. Super cold nights, then super hot days. We’ll see how it holds up!
Day 46: A male popped up beside her, doesn’t look like she’s in flower yet and I caught the male pretty quickly. Should be alright. Still just watering when dry. Going to add some top dressing once I see signs of flower
Day 50 (August 16th): I’m quite surprised at how well this plant is doing with very little maintenance or attention. This soil mix has been amazing to use. I’ll add some amendments once I see them starting to flower.
Day 56: Amendments are going in today, these girls are starting to flower. She’s looking strong, lush, and dark.
Day 57 (August 23): she’s starting to flower with some beautiful purple hued pistils!
Day 63: what a beautiful outdoor plant. Definitely the classic indica with a short bushy structure. Hoping she stretches a bit more
Day 64 (August 29th): This has been a very “meh” week for weather here. A lot of overcast, very low temperatures, and a lot of rain. The plants are definitely thickening up. I’m actually super impressed. This is my first outdoor plant. Some of the colors popping through leaves now are stunning.
Day 69: The purples are really coming through. Still just watering when dry. I won’t lie, there isn’t much attention being given to this plant. Just letting her do her own thing!
Day 71 (September 5th) She’s holding on strong. Brought her in a couple times when we were having really bad storms. She doesn’t seemed stressed though.
Day 76: we’ve had a beautiful weekend. These ladies are loving it!
Day 78 (September 12th): I’ve gotta be honest. Haven’t really had any issues with this plant (knock on wood) I’ve just kind of left her to do her own thing. I give her some PH’d water here and there but that’s about it. She’s turning out beautiful. My favorite plant that I’m growing. Love the A.C.E!
Day 83: starting to see some reds and yellows coming through now. The trichomes production is great. Really hoping that this girl is going to be ready in a week and a half when my indoors are done as well!
Day 85 (September 19): These girls are spending every night in the garage for the next little while. It’s going down to 5 degrees at night, just can’t risk it. We’ll see how she finishes up
Day 87: Such incredible colors. Great trichomes development. Still just watering with PH’d plain water.
Day 90: So… I decided to cut her down. The mornings are hitting 6-7 degrees Celsius and with the slow warm up during the day, I started to notice some PM. As soon as I noticed what looked like to be the beginning of rot on the lowers, it was time for her to meet the scissors. I planned on cutting her down on Sunday, so it wasn’t that early. Curious to see how this bud turns out and then I’m going to take her for a spin in the trimbag!
This outdoor Blueberry plant has held its own over the growing season. From gale force winds, to 3 day rain storms, she has seen it all and held strong. Very impressed with this strain and it’s resiliency!
My final words on this strain: Like I said previously and throughout this grow for anyone following, this strain was super resilient through the entire grow. Great strain to grow outdoors. I started this seedling way too far into the growing season so she never got a chance to grow larger, giving me a small yield in the end. The color fade was stunning to watch on this plant, but I do wish those colors made it through to the finished bud. The smoke is smooth and fruity, the smell coming from the jars is reminiscent of fresh blueberry jam, and the high is mids to be completely honest. That’s okay with me though. Good for smoking throughout the day or evening to keep a mild energetic high!
Que maravilha ✌️
Boa sorte no cultivo e aproveita o desenvolvimento 👍
E no final que tenhas uma grande colheita 🌱🌱
