My advice to you is if you use RO water (reverse osmosis water) set your pH after you add nutrients to 5.8 and you shouldn’t have any pH issue or fluctuations. If you use tap or sink water the chlorine and minerals in the water will make your pH fluctuate for the first week. If you do DWC invest the time and dedication because once you figure it out it’s worth it completely. The bigger the reservoir the longer a plant can sit without being touched. Most people change their water once a week. I’ve done a whole DWC run with only changing the water for flowering by adding fresh water everyday and adding enough nutrients to get the ppm or EC back where I want it.
