Around Day 45ish i noticed the first yellowing leaf near the bottom of the plant. Deff also have some nute burn on tips. it seems she has had slight nute burn pretty much the whole grow. Very deep green shiny leaves etc., from a lot of nitrogen. Its an organic grow, haven't fed her anything other than natures living soil, so i am not worrying about it for now. Some of it is also some light burn from up'ing the PPFD a bit early weeks ago. Pretty uneventful week, just watering. She drinks about 1800ml every 2 days now. I Recharge every other watering - 300-400ml.
I have posted a Day 5 picture to my diary - it seems to me the seedling is a slow grower, and the leaves are dark green. Does it seem like typical day 5 growth? I am wondering if the FFOF is a little too hot? A lot of other seedlings look to be a lighter shade of green.
Any opinions on when I should transplant this Day 12 guy? Some say 4-5 leaves, some 7, some less. I only see one small root out of the bottom, but its hard to see - the holes aren't huge. I am thinking of going to a 3gal, or a 5gal.
Transplant now, into a 5 gallon, would be my advice.
The pots you are using are really only big enough for 10-14 days.
Filling them right up to the top next time would aid in root development and help prevent any chance of stunting them.
I usually transplant when they get to the third node, forth node maximum.
Cheers, Organoman.
Another question. I appreciate everyone's response to the last ones.
I am finding it difficult to google this one. When do I switch my LED to 100%? Currently, I am running it at roughly 60% at about 24in. Am I in 'true' veg? Its working on its 3rd node that has 5 fingers.
Lower it to 18", and bump in up 10% per day until you see the tips start to stress.
Light stress looks like nute burn but the tips dont turn down, they just yellow right at the tip.
Hope this helps, good luck with your grow!
is it OK to keep bending her main stem over during flower? It wouldn't be a big deal but I am running out of room to keep raising the light. She a good 4 inches above the rest. See Day 34 pic
Yeah bro bend away.. I agree with organoman - around 3-4 weeks in they wonโt recover or bend back towards the light really anymore like they would normally in veg or early flower.
Even if you got to after that, itโs the only thing you can do sometimes to have space in your tent - Iโve bent colas over to 90 degrees (โsupercroppingโ) late in flower with no real issue
Any opinions on whether I should harvest based on the pics I posted. A lot of people will say, NOT YET, wait until all the hairs are orange, then you read on some sites that say 100% orange is too late. I prefer the 'up' high vs couch lock. Trichomes are clear/milky with a few am
Hey if you prefer the up type high ya want cloudy with very little amber and clear so by what I can see in the photos you have posted your good to go but better photos would help with a more precise answer to you question happy growing ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฅ

@medicalguy09,
I actually ended up backing off the intensity a small amount. I noticed a small amount of burn on the tips of most leaves. At this point, I'm not sure if it was the light, or if she started dipping into the super soil at the bottom of the container. I know this Auto strain is very sensitive to nutes. Anyhow, I am at about 80-85% @ 21in and she's doing fine. My meter shows roughly 600-ish PPFD.
