~ FASTBUDS CHEMDAWG AUTOFLOWER~ 'The history of the Chemdawg strain starts in the early 90s where a group of cannabis breeders from Colorado were following a band on tour and took some of their weed with them, they had named this weed “chem bud” due to the unique chemical and diesel flavors. When they got to one of the shows, they sold a couple of grams to a group of friends who quickly realized those were some special buds and, lucky for them, the buds had a couple of Chemdawg seeds (before they actually knew what they were) which they stored. When one of the friends, who was also a cannabis grower, went back to his home on the East Coast, he germinated some of the seeds and started selecting the best phenotypes to continue developing those genetics even further. As you may know by now, his effort paid off, and soon enough there were two versions of this strain going around, one was Indica-dominant and the other was a Sativa-leaning hybrid. She's starting to flower and is looking absolutely fantastic! After giving her a good drink of Compost Tea yesterday, today she received her regular watering of 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉ 8/4- Now that my girl is in flower her appetite and thirst have dramatically increased. Her growth continues as does her flower development and she's looking like a Rockstar! I've increased her regular watering of her 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉ to twice a day now to keep her from drying out (disadvantage of smaller fabric pots... Frequent watering's). 8/6- This girl's on fire! Five weeks old and she's looking spectacular with great color, health and she's loaded with bud sites! Her twice daily watering's of 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.3-6.5 @ 72-74℉ continue along with constant tucking of shade leaves to maximize light penetration from the UnitFarm UF4000. I'm brewing up some Compost Tea that she'll be getting when it's done. I'll also top dress her before her tea with some Down To Earth Bio-Fish which will give her a boost of P & K. 8/8- Today I removed some lower shade leaves and all the lower flower sites leaving only the last 4-5 nodes with flower sites. This will direct all her energy into the TOP of her, which is where I want her to be concentrating all her effort! Daily watering of 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.3-6.5 @ 72-74℉ continues, although today her water was substituted for some freshly brewed Compost Tea which she received 0.5g of. ~Thanks for stopping in!
