Seed popped a little faster than the Afghan Kush Special but taproot was roughly the same size. Took a few days in the towel and was planted in a rapid rooter in a quart sized pot. Light nutrient given to help buffer the coco. Cotyledons visible July 8th.
Moving along quite nicely already, faster than I had hoped for! Getting better equipment to measure my water use, will update with more accurate nutrient stats next week.
So far this has been one of the fastest strains right out of the gate that I’ve grown.
This thing has been growing fast! It seems to be the most irrigation tolerant plant in the tent currently as it seems to slow down the least right after watering. Other than the auto I just put in the tent this seed was started last but seems to be surpassing the others in size. Cant wait to see where it goes!
Getting better runoff readings now. I didn’t realize how hard my starting water was because my water softener/filter needed replacing but I caught it a bit late. I was starting out each nute solution with 500ppm tap water! Got some good runoff and the plant seems to be doing well. Recalibrated my pH meter this week too. Of all the plants I’ve got going this run this one seems to be the most tolerant of anything. Fairly irrigation tolerant and was the only one of my plants that held up reasonably well when my hard water was accidentally getting used in nute solutions.
