GORILLA COOKIES! DWC

Day 8 - moved into DWC a. DWC is ready to go, with 400ppm of nutrients b. the growth we are seeing is very nice c. am still watering around the rocks a few times a day to promote root growth Day 9 - all is well a. plant is noticeably growing b. PH is sitting at 6.2, and not fluctuating - using dechlorinated water source Day 10 - she is growing a. nothing new to report b. utilizing humidity dome with small space for DWC to breathe, the humidity in my barn is a bit too low Day 11 - growth a. new leaves are forming b. one root has made it outside the basket Day 12 - roots in the pool a. we have a root in the pool! b. there will be many more to follow, the water level is just at the base of the basket Day 13 - you can depend on FastBuds a. just like clockwork, at 2 weeks there are 10+ roots reaching into the nutrient pool, FastBuds seeds ALWAYS germinate faster Day 14 - explosive growth a. roots are about 5cm into the pool, she is taking off b. love the shape of these initial leaves, the green hue is wonderful

Day 15 - wow, this plant is growing better than ever! a. this plant is growing at the rate of my last Pineapple Express Auto by Fastbuds b. the indica traits though, are really nice with the wide leaves c. humidity has been a little lower than I want, but we have had some impressive rain to compensate Day 16 - more growth, many many roots in the pool a. there are about 3 good root clusters into the pool, they are making nice ladder roots b. the DWC is running well, with temps almost 30 outside, the DWC is staying 22, ph 5.8, 440 ppm. c. installed the CO2 generator, a Banana Bomber, 1KG sugar, 3 tsp yeast, 2 mashed up bananas, 5L warm water. Day 17 - she is growing a. the CO2 generator is generating CO2 already, this time I ground up the bananas like baby food. b. adjusted the ventilation a little to maintain 27-28 degrees in the tent Day 18 - growing well a. i have to keep reminding myself that just 18 days ago this was a dry seed in a packet. b. many roots in the pool, there are a few very large roots about to bust through the netpot Day 19 - growing well a. smooth and steady growth, temperatures in tent are 28 in the day, and around 23 in its 4hrs of darkness, humidity is always 60+, and we are getting alot of rain to help with that. b. noticing growth all over, this plant is growing a bit different than my others, it seems that in the past ive had mostly sativa leaning auto hybrids. Day 20 - many BIG roots hitting the pool a. there are about 25 huge root tips hitting the pool right now, there are already about 10 root clusters in there, but these roots are much thicker b. like the breeder says, week 3 this will take off, totally accurate Day 21 - growth everywhere a. the stem is becoming much thicker, the symmetry of the plant is beautiful, really liking the wide leaves b. next week she will take off like a rocket c. the CO2 bomber, as usual, is generating CO2 very well

Day 22 - her takeoff has begun a. the lady is doing well, growing all over, no signs of any damage or light stress b. i have to keep reminding myself that this Indica plant is only 22 days old c. the pool is hanging at 5.9/6.0 PH all the time. d. I will not be topping, fimming or high stress training this plant as the breeder recommends e. lowered the light is at 45cm away from the seedling f. added reflector tape to the top of the DWC, my main DWC has it, and its plants always do amazing, so why the hell not reflector tape this one Day 23 - Growth Explosion a. she is really taking off, like a rocket! b. she is becoming more and more bushy, smells too, really good c. the reflective tape on top of the DWC changes my photos, lol, it allows for a-lot of light reflection and eye pain Day 24 - performed light defoliation a. opened up the lower parts of the plant for light b. only removed 8 leaves, will remove more in a few days to allow for no runt branches c. also removed some of the original stabilizer rocks... when she was a tiny baby she was very leggy and needed support, she has thick stem now! d. airflow is opened up and the fan is blowing more direct on the gorilla e. gradually stepping up the ppm, at 550. only have to increase FloraMicro and FloraGro Day 25 - growth observed all over a. lower limbs that were hidden by leaves are perking up, and heading outward b. airflow around the plant is great, the CO2 production is very high, as the tent smells of banana liquor c. ventilation is turned off to preserve humidity and CO2 Day 26 - growth a. smooth and steady, she is drinking alot from the DWC, about 1/2 litre a day b. removed 2 large fan leaves, the lower limbs need to see light Day 27 - lower growth occurring now a. the lower foliage and branches are growing more since they see more light b. performed the last defoliation for a while, encouraging the side branches to take dominance over the main without topping this plant Day 28 - ending the week on a high note! a. she grew nearly 2x over night, opening her up to the light was a huge help b. with these smaller LED lights im guessing light penetration through thick indica leaves is very low, leaftucking helps c. will begin ponytailing LST next week to encourage more lateral branch growth d. today though, she is just chillin out in the 28 degrees and 60% humidity, ventilation is running, and she is smelling very nice

Day 29 - she grows very well a. the shape of the plant has been formed b. our environment is a bit hot, but the lady is growing very well after defoliation, trying to control the humidity, at night it goes down to 50%. c. added 2L of nutrient solution mixed at double strength to get the PH up to 6.5, and the ppm to 600, was liberal with the Mineral Magic. d. growth of the main has slowed just a bit as expected, the outer branches though are rising outward Day 30 - growth explosion a. she is growing well, leaving ventilation opened all the way up, humidity at 50%, heat is a bit high 29c, our region is very hot right now, I added more yeast to the CO2 generator, instantly started bubbling up again. Will keep the CO2 in there directed toward the plant. b. ill be increasing the Mineral Magic as I go, adding Silica to any plant allows for them to withstand heat better c. it seems my plant likes the 6.2 PH the best, the breeder recommends 6.5, but with DWC, it needs to be a little lower, 6 would probably be best. Day 31 - growing well a. there is growth all over the plant, she is very compact, but very vigorous b. temperatures are around 28, humidity hanging aroung 55 with all vents opened up to lower temps Day 32 - another growth explosion a. she is taking off big time b. environment is stable at 27 degrees and 55% humidity c. removed the 2 largest fan leaves to allow light to now evenly hit the entire plant Day 33 - growth observed all over a. all is well, added 1L of double strength nutrients to the DWC Day 34 - explosion occured a. she has exploded her 4 branches out the sides, its still so young... b. the DWC is running well, letting the PH hang right at 6 Day 35 - wow a. the plant is doing very well b. removed 2 main stem leaves to open coverage for branch growth c. added 2L of plain mineral water to the DWC, ppm 600

Day 36 - growing very well a. this plant reminds me of the West Coast OG that I grew earlier, nice b. the side branches are becoming longer Day 37 - good growth a. added 2L nutrient solution to the DWC Day 38 - great canopy a. she is expanding exponentially b. there is alot of undergrowth waiting to explode c. the smell is very strong, will probably have to use carbon filter for her Day 39 - becoming a shrub a. she is growing very big, everywhere expanding b. she is drinking so much water right, 2 litres a day Day 40 - growth explosion a. the lady is growing huge, growing upward b. this is going to be a very large plant Day 41 - growing well a. added 5L nutrients solution to DWC, 6.3ph, extra liberal on the mineral magic. b. Turned the plant to allow corner branches to expand c. the earliest signs of preflowering have begun, white pistils are emerging eveywhere Day 42 - preflowering a. will be increasing the flowering nutrients next week.

Day 43 - growing very well, preflowering a. defoliated some of the under runt growth b. bumped up the nutrients to my preflowering blend, 850ppm in DWC now, offsetting the measurements based of what is already in the res. c. PH is 6.5, the plant is liking the dwc, very similar growth to West Coast OG d. Fastbuds specifically recommends 6.5 PH for this strain, we are following directions e. performed some very light LST to the outside branches Day 44 - the very light LST is great a. the plant is really stretching out b. there are going to be many colas Day 45 - drinking alot of water a. growing very well, vegging hard b. added 4L to the DWC, 1000ppm Day 46 - she is stretching upward a. everything is going great, I love Fastbuds! b. when all other breeders are failing us, Fastbuds shines through Day 47 - growing well a. all is well in the world with our plant! Day 48 - growing well all over a. she is stretching upward, lowering the light a bit to encourage even more growth, 45cm away Day 49 - what a monster! a. all is growing well, in Geneva for the week, my grow partner is sending photos to me!

Day 50 - she is a real Gorilla monster! a. she is growing very well b. I overfilled the DWC by 3 litres because I am currently away from the operation, my photos will be a little different as my grow mate is taking photos c. still utilizing the strong Preflower blend d. The genetics of the Gorilla Cookies seems very similar to our West Coast OG plant, she craves BORON!!! absolutely loves it e. will keep rolling strong with Mineral Magic. Ive noticed the more liberal I am with the Silicate, the denser the buds become in the end, and smell of berries too. Day 52 - she is a monster a. all going well, will change for flower blend in 2 days Day 53 - added 3L PH water a. my grow partner added 3L PH water to the DWC while I am gone Day 54 - growing well Day 56 - growing really well a. added 7 litre PH water to the DWC. b. will be going full flower next week!

Day 57 - I return home to a MONSTER! a. my grow partner did an amazing job of keeping our plant thriving! b. added full strength flowering nutrients, time to build these buds after a week long water flush. c. the DWC is full, and running well d. cleaned out all the little runt limbs Day 58 - a little LST a. the breeder recommends to tie the side branches back, 3 of ours are now tied closer to the corners to open the canopy b. growing well, the smell is very nice. alot like OG Kush Day 59 - wow, great buds a. the buds are swelling up big time b. she is eating alot, I will be increasing the bloom nutrients next week Day 60 - growing everywhere a. not much to report, but good things are happening Day 61 - growth all over a. the buds are swelling more and more Day 62 - added food to the pool a. added 7L to the DWC topping it up, with stronger 900ppm flowering nutrients b. take note - the Florabloom was increased to 2.8ml/L Day 63 - explosions all over a. she loves florabloom b. this is going to grow very large

Day 64 - flowering all over a. there are many bud sites on this plant, about 9 main colas, moving light to top of tent for more stretching b. will be increasing the flowering blend gradually, this plant can take it c. she is drinking about 4L a day right now, we hit 1000ppm in the DWC, not a single leaf is curling! Day 65 - growth everywhere a. the buds are swelling, and she is getting taller Day 66 - buds are growing a. it is very noticeable that the buds are getting fatter and fatter b. added 4L of nutrient solution to the DWC, 1040ppm Day 67 - buds are swelling a. the plant is starting to smell of creamy baked goods, very nice Day 68 - resin everywhere a. the buds are all growing rapidly b. she drinks and drinks, keeping the DWC nearly full at all times c. will be increasing bloom nutrients again next week Day 69 - berry smells a. the buds are smelling of fruity berry baked goods, very interesting b. the leaves on this plant are dark and thick, I really like the look of this Day 70 - buds are swelling alot a. the buds are getting very big b. added 5L of nutrient solution to the DWC, will be upping the FloraBloom next week

Day 71 - she is a monster a. the buds continue to swell larger b. the smells inside the box are of baked cakes and fruit, really amazing smell c. will be increasing the bloom nutrients very hard this week with more FloraBloom. d. I am hoping to have purple buds when we are finished! Day 72 - growing strong a. the buds are growing every day b. the smell is unreal, the oil production is very high, the buds are covered in oil c. added 5L to the DWC of stronger flowering blend, we are at 1240ppm in the DWC d. applied light LST to 2 of the front colas to allow light to hit the smaller buds a bit Day 73 - growth explosion a. exponential growth everywhere, buds are getting very fat. b. not a single hair is turning orange!!!! we are so excited for the long life of this auto, the longer the life the longer the effects. c. the plant is starting to eat the nitrogen out of some of the leaves. Day 74 - buds just keep growing a. added 5L of heavy flowering blend to the DWC b. smells like berry cake Day 75 - exploding a. lightly tied the massive buds back a little to get the little spots more light b. the oil and resin production are very high Day 76 - exploding again a. the buds are just growing huge, the main is insanely large b. we are starting to get our first signs of minor nitrogen deficiency!!!! YES! Day 77 - let the ripening begin! a. switching over to Ripen+Pro Bloom next week, these buds will explode!

Day 78 - she is growing very large a. the buds are large, and the stigmas are very thick, begging for pollen b. I will begin the Ripening process this week, giving some Ripen with the blend, next week will be all Ripen. c. the nitrogen deficiency is starting happen, which I am very excited about, I want the plant to eat all the nitrogen that it can from itself, making a smoother smoke Day 79 - growing well a. ripening process has begun, there will be no gro or micro added moving forward, 1620ppm b. changed the lighting to 18 on and 6 hours off to assist with maturation Day 80 - dense buds a. squeezed one of the smaller buds a bit, and it is very dense b. buds are certainly growing, the plant is eating its nitrogen!! c. removed the 2 LST ties from the limbs, she is growing naturally with enough space between the buds d. time for FloraKleen for 2 days, then pure Ripen. Day 81 - defoliation a. removed some of the larger yellowing leaves that are blocking the light from the smaller buds b. tomorrow DWC change for Ripen only! The first taste of Ripen the plant has exploded! Day 82 - BOOM! a. today she gets pure Ripen, 800ppm 5ml/L, and 4g/10L of mineral magic, 6.5 PH b. the root system is so large that 10 litres of water fills a 20 litre DWC, this plant is a monster c. the buds are getting really large, must re-tie back 2 of the fat main buds Day 83 - def can see the Ripen effects a. I always use Ripen, and the effects are always noticeable in a day or two, with mineral magic present the buds always smell like berry b. she is drinking alot of water right now, maybe 4L a day c. I am constantly removing leaves to open up the buds to more light, and to decrease humidity d. the main cola is huge, im glad I didnt top this plant, the other mains are incredible too Day 84 - 3 weeks left a. while cleaning out some of the leaves, I pulled off a small bud, QWISO, still has a while to go! The oil taste great, but the effects still need a few weeks to develop further for my liking b. the buds are monsters c. the humidity has been a bit high in our region, glad @Fastbuds created a strain that is resistant to higher humidity!

Day 85 - the stigmas are so thick a. this plant is begging for pollen, seriously the calyxes are exploding, and the stigmas are so thick b. running hot Ripen right now, 6ml/L, also have a good base of minerals added with mineral magic in the bottom of the DWC until flush. c. the leaves are starting to turn purple where they turned yellow Day 86 - density a. the buds are becoming very dense! this makes me happy, these buds are dense like Pineapple Express, I am understanding how GHE (Europe)/TA nutrients work. b. she is starting to become ripe, some of the stigmas are turning pink c. adjusted a few of the ties, and defoliated a good bit Day 87 - ripening a. the stigmas are becoming pink, and the calyxes are swelling big time b. added 3 more L of Ripen solution to the DWC, no more mineral magic Day 88 - exploding a. the buds are really exploding b. notice the dense calyx buildup that is happening in the photo c. the smells... WOW, berry, diesel and creamy goodness Day 89 - growing large a. the buds continue to grow and grow b. she is drinking alot of water every day from the DWC, gave her 1.5L Ripen only, cold water 35 degrees. c. trichomes are growing very long, the heads are becoming filled with white resin.. this will be 100+ days. Day 90 - stigmas turning pink and orange a. maturity is starting to happen to our cones b. the stigmas are still white, but there are many pink and orange stigmas all over now c. the trichomes are very long on this plant, with the heads being very thick Day 91 - end of another wonderful flowering week a. the lady is loving her end of life, next week the buds will grow even larger

Week 9 of flowering, Day 92 = the smell is incredible a. the buds are smelling very sweet, and still growing very large b. we are in the home stretch c. the trichomes are very milky d. the DWC is half full of 1620ppm nutrients at 6.5PH, I am cutting it in half with Mineral Water to finish the maturing process e. stigmas are changing color very rapidly, and the smell is incredibly strong Day 93 - WOW! The smell is becoming very intense a. we do not have a carbon filter on this box as it is out in our barn, but holy cow when we walk about 5 meters from the barn we can smell it strong b. added 4L of mineral water to the DWC to cut the Ripen down c. the buds are maturing fast! this will be harvested around day 100/101/102 d. for this week we are moving light to 11/13 Day 94 - resin explosions everywhere a. the light switch always makes more resin appear, and causes white stigmas to turn pink/orange b. she has slowed down her drinking a bit c. tomorrow the DWC will be pumped out, and 10L of water with FloraKleen will be added for 2 days Day 95 - trichomes look wonderful! a. 100x microscope shows really nice trichome development, majority milky white, with some amber, a few clear which should go white/amber in the next few days, and while drying. b. installed FloraKleen at 3ml/L with 10L of mineral water, will keep FloraKleen in for 2 days, then remove c. the pistils are all turning red/orange and brown Day 96 - growing well a. the buds continue to fully mature, the pistils are changing rapidly, and there are very few clear trichomes anywhere I look b. she is drinking less and less, her life is coming to an end I see, i constantly remove dead curled up leaves from her Day 97 - maturing, and smelling awesome a. i uploaded a video of the buds b. the trichomes are all milky white, and a probably 5-10% amber, they are SO greasy! Just like Girl Scout Cookies! c. installed a dehumidifier into the tent, it works well Day 98 - she is in the harvest window a. what a great plant to grow, 95% pistils are orange/red/brown and trichomes are 90% milky, 5% amber and a few clears here and there b. I am removing some leaves today to open her up a bit c. I think we will go another week, I will be in Geneva, so hopefully she will eat her leaves!

Day 99 - in Geneva a. grow buddy is watching the operation again while im gone, he is good, checks the tent every 4 hours, shakes the plants around and monitors the numbers Day 100 - She is smelling up our barn a. the neighbors noticed, now we have to give them bud, its ok they give us bud Day 101 - lights off photo a. the buds have become monsters b. the crystals shine all over Day 102 - after a quick trip to Geneva, returning home, she has eaten her nitrogen from the leaves!!! a. this strain is incredible! The buds are SO greasy! She is getting plain water, 1/2 DWC full until I cut the plant b. We will harvest this soon, the pistils are 95% turned color c. the trichomes are all milky, see one or two patches of amber here and there d. we want a blasting head rush high, so aiming for very little amber Day 103 - lights off for 24 hours, this lady is done! a. the trichomes are turning amber quickly b. all of the stigmas have turned colors very rapidly c. I will not be home to harvest, leaving it up to my grow mate, he will decide the day to cut and hang the plant! Day 104 - 24 hours in darkness, time for harvest! Day 105 - she was cut, and hung to dry, whole plant.

Growing Gorilla Cookies was really fun! The buds are HUGE! @Bloombuster helped us achieve greatness along the way! Gorilla Cookies can take any nutrients you throw at it. Make sure to give a good flush. We tried a little of the buds, and WOW! VERY Indica for sure! I will report back with smoke reports as usual, once it cures for about 20 days. We dried the buds for 7 days in 50% humidity, and 20 degrees, in the dark, ventilation always on, worked very well. 6 days after curing in the jars with 62% boveda 8g packs the buds are looking nice, the smell is really starting to develop.
