The ppm are extremely high today however the plant seems to enjoy that oddly enough. This is only my second run with this strain and so far she's looking better than the original plant I took this clone from. Ph rises every now and then but overall no complaints or issues yet.
Each plant needed an emergency nutrient reset after discovering that BOTH ph + ppm were on the rise... way too high!! I let them bath in some flora kleen for about 2-3 hours while I prepared the next batch of nutrients. I was very careful not to over do it with the nutrients in fact I slightly underfed to be safe. I also paid close attention to the amounts of ph up or down I was putting and let the solution sit for a while - checking the ph every 30 minutes to monitor stability. The environment is clean and I wipe it down between bucket changes. Always use gloves when handling the plants and especially when checking roots and preparing nutrients. I have a total of 4 plants in this tent (3 autos and 1 fem; autos: mimosa cake and tangie'matic by fast buds, lambs breath by crop king seeds; feminized: Black widow by ILGM) so my black widow is the reason my autos aren't receiving 18hrs of light lol
Yo yo yo what's up growmies?! So quick update... plants are doing okay but this week we lost a light... RIP Phlizon Pro 2000, but thankfully I was able to get the mars hydro up and the girls are loving it right now. I'll update next week about the lights.
This week has been the best in terms of growth in the garden! We got the black widow fattening up and the two autos look like they are gonna produce buds soon! I'm excited to take more photos this week for the next update.
Some notes from the week:
July 28, 2021 - Day 34 - Added about 2 gal of RO water ph'd down to 5.8. This is help bring down the ppm in the buckets. Was reading at 1200-1300 ppm (500 scale) ph has been steady all week.
Aug 1, 2021 - Day 37 - I did a nutrient change today using 3 gal of RO water and 1 gal of tap water for each bucket. For the black widow, I stuck with the usual: calmag, maxi bloom, liquid koolbloom, ph'd to 5.8. For the others I used cal mag and botanicare pure blend pro bloom which perfectly buffers the ph to 5.8. I measured my estimated nutrients but only used enough to reach the ppm I was looking for. I didn't have to use the full recommended doses to reach my ppm goal. I think this will be how I do nutrient changes if they respond positively.
Not much to report this week. She's starting to smell more funky like that good dank stank. Before it was all pine and citrus scents. You can catch a whiff without having to rustle with it. Her buds are stacking nicely and looking THICK thick. I think the next few weeks are gonna be just that.... fattening up and ripening.
Her colas are nicely shaped and even the bottom "popcorn" nugs feel dense. Def bigger than popcorn nugs I've seen. Anyways here's the update on her, I hope you enjoy following the grow! Happy Growing 😊
This week we lookin mighty fine, healthy and divine!! Buds are stacked beautifully and her scent?! Omg I'm in love with it! I love a good pine/woody scent 😌 she packs a diesel pine whif⛽ paired with a berry aroma that's slightly citrus-y. Got my mouth watering over here!!! Can't wait to smoke some! Roots look good, leaves are OK, still waiting for that fall fade to begin.
Okay so to clarify on nutrients... what I have done was measured my EC and PPM to determine how much nutrients to add.
First: I topped off the bucket with 2 gallons of RO water and took a reading. My solution was at around 400ppm (my goal was 750-800 at this stage of flower).
So, I added ripen to the bucket; directions on the bottle say to add it to your nutrient solution so I figured since we're close to harvest, there's still nutes in the bucket, and I don't need a fresh batch currently, ima just add ripen till I reach the ppm I desire. So far she's thriving and loving life 💪🏾💙😎 after that I PH'd the water to 5.8 and she hasn't drifted up or down since the last top off.
This upcoming week (week 9) she'll be receiving only ripen followed by a 3-5 day flush. Stay tuned for that update growmies. Stay highly dedicated and highly medicated 😎 🌿 🔥 💨

It's the final week, we are flushing her out! Her trichomes seem to be changing rapidly but the leaves have yet to fully fade out. This is only day 2 since doing the flush so we shall see by the end of the week! Either way I'm excited and we need grow space for the next run...
Stay highly dedicated and highly medicated folks 🌿🔥😎💨 grow with peace ✌️🏾
Being that she's a sativa dom, I learned she likes to grow tall, HUGE even, if left untrained. I would recommend using a scrog net just because towards the end of flower her buds tend to weigh her down. I noticed I had to use several wires to help prop up the branches. As far as training goes, she seems to favor super cropping more than topping and definitely start tying down branches early in veg, the earlier the better. Be careful not to allow humidy to climb above 60% otherwise that when you run into issues with her. The first run ended badly because I kept my temps and humidity too high. So before the mother died (which I started from seed), I took this clone so I can reattempt this cultivar. She was definitely worth the redo and the long wait (mind you been waiting since the mother plant to try this stuff) lol
Oh man I'm writing notes before I even get to finish trimming her up! Thats how dank she is! Where do I even begin... she's definitely the show stopper from this season! Packs a mean punch and I mean home girl will surely knock you into next Tuesday! She's very potent with strong terps of pinene and lemonine. On the exhale, she's running a full tank of gas ⛽ 🙃 I love how she smells and tastes even better! Mind you, all this sampling is done before any curing was completed. I'm excited for the final weight and cured product 😎💨🌿🔥🔥🔥🔥
So far I've trimmed about 1oz of it, still got a little more than half the plant to do
Drying Time:
The goal was a 14 day dry time however, I'm still battling high temps. The lowest I was able to maintain was 72⁰F. The harvest took about 6 days to dry. Like I said I'm still in the middle of trimming her up so I'll hit you guys with the update on final weights. Just wanted to share this harvest with my growmies.
As always folks, remember to stay highly dedicated and highly medicated 😎 happy growing 🔥
Looks good! I got the hero mix pack. Germinated 1 of each but the black widow didn't pop. Stuff happens. Hopefully next time. But my bruce banner and sky OG are doing awesome!!! I have a diary going, they are on week 6 veg. I definitely followed ya so I can get an idea of some do's and don'ts. Enjoy growth ✌️🍀✌️
@EBxAH, good news or bad I gotta be honest and stay updated lol. The new light from Mars Hydro came in so I got the girls back under some decent lights after about 3 days of desk lamps I hope they do great despite the stress 😊
@Synthamesc, every now and then I catch a wif of her scent without having to agitate and move her around. She's smelling like some citrus or pine. Kinda woodsy and fruity like a berry
