- CONGO (landrace) - NATURAL MYSTIC (ganja) These are the 2 strains I hope to take to the next level with this indoor grow. Sharing the tent will be an Autoflower for part of the journey. When the Northern Lights Express Auto is finished, that will be “lights-out” for these 2, and into Flower @ ~7-8 weeks - started the photo-periods a full week behind the Auto ensure a full grow for it. No rushing things. Will give the auto a full shot at stardom - And a last minute replacement to fill the tent; durban poison. (That, will be a seperate grow) Those are the plans; let me get these into some water. Aug 1, ea seed has had 24hrs in H2O, 24 hours in damp paper Towel, and now they are back in the H2O. Natural Mystic has a visible white patch on the seed, but thats all to report for another 24 Aug 2 sees all 3 seeds with a white area visible on the end, but not sticking out. into the damp Towel / Bag they they go. Again Aug 3 finds me with 3 stubborn seeds; back in the Water x 3, this morning. - Final, Shorter (18hr) Round Aug 4th - working on a shorter cycle, all 3 of these seeds may be Done/tut fini/Scheise as they do not seem to be producing a tail. 4pm will be the final check. ••• 3 new seeds are in H20 regardless ••• 1 of ea. Again Aug 5th - First 3 seeds DID NOT GERMINATE. Checking the newbies soon enough, yep we are Starting Over with Fresh Seeds Aug 7th, a Good Update - finds a nice tail on the Congo & stub on the Natural Mystic. Both have been put into Soil. Black Willie got put back into H20 and the seed has now cracked and its in a damp towel. - 2nd try still looks stalled Aug 8th - the Congo seedling has broken ground and looks healthy. Nothing above-ground from Natural Mystic, yet. - B.W. failed again after 18hrs in h20 and many hours in Damp Towel. Last effort w/ B.W. seeds #4, 5 & 6 hitting water for 18 hrs Aug 9 - Natural Mystic broke ground last night and is doing great. - B.W.’s spent 18 hrs in H20 & is now in a damp towel on a plate, in the dark. Last ditch effort to get a b.w. to germ (this time) - there is a bunch of other seeds looking for this Seat should Black Willie fail to Germinate again. The 4th, 5th & 6th seeds from that batch are in the towel now - both seeds have been moved into the tent, new pots next… 10th - lets just say Black Willie was being a little awkward and has been removed from this grow, for falling behind the others. DURBAN POISON will be run beside the other 2 Sativa phot-periods. + 1 autoflower in the mix till lights-out (northern lights express) 11th - Both the Congo & Natural Mystic have been planted and watered into their new pots; 2 cups each -15 gallon for the Congo & 10 gallon for the Mystic. - FYI now that the grow is in motion, this is day 5 of Germ week, since the “Tail popped from the Shell” - moving Black Willie aside only relates to how amazingly well Reeferman Genetics, handled My string of failed gErMiNaTiOnS. Fresh seeds on their way!!! BW gets it Next Time… **Thanks a Zillion Guys n Gals @ www.oldschoolba.com** 12th - 1st Foliar Spray of Fulvic Acid, Epsom Salt @ lites-out 13th - fed the kids 3 cups of water each, in a circular pattern around the Seedling. - “last day of Germination week” and the two plants are in big pots & look strong. Can’t ask any more - looking back at this little diary, its been quite a week ha - foliar misting. Trying to get the underside of things as well

Aug 14th - plants look great - watering circles still visible and moist, all is good temp-wise. Struggling to maintain a higher RH. Reduced exhaust etc Aug 15 - Substrate dries faster with the high percent of Coco Coir I used this grow ~ 35%. Goal is to water in 3 days again. Water volumes are going Up, as will-be the time between big waterings. To be staggered between Half waterings on a 4 day / 2 day schedule (when conditions are ready) Aug 16th - moisture is the issue, and they are going to make it to lites-out without having to be early-watered. -Coco Coir and its ability to Get dry, allows for a quick visual of the plants Surface moisture - each plant gets 5 cups of day-old water tonight. Watering in a circle to develop a column of moisture, for the roots to take hold-in. Always a fear of over-watering, next h2o will be 3 full days away. Almost dry is a good place - last day of week 1. I’ll take more pictures tonight Aug 17th - both plants are building the 2nd set of leaves. Stringy leaves from both. - Moisture level is Ok - Foliar Spray @ lites-out 11a.m. Aug 18 - 1.5 L of water at the last feeding, has held up for each plant for the time being. P.m. tonight is 2 full days since. Team Picture shows good water volume in the soil. Both Congo & Nat Myst are to be topped multiple times, making a nice Ring of buds. (Hoping the need to water holds off till day 3; 19th p.m.) 19th - pm feeding of 6 cups /~1.5L - “small” amount of rapid start & cal/mg to each plant - dinner is posted above

Aug 21 - this week starts with increasing watering volumes. -plants are working on 4-5th sets of leaves and a Topping is in the near future for these Ladies Aug 22 - dinner of 1.75 L for the plants tonight - starting to plan the Topping now that the plants r working on the 4th’n 5th set of leaves Aug 23rd - plants are doing really well -macro shots tonight ahead of Topping - Foliar spray at lights-out 24th - just before lights out & Foliar application, I noticed that the upper leaves of the Congo specifically, had the lengthwise edges almost touching. Too Hot if I recall and the light was raised 4”. Perfect timing, new laser thermometer arrives tomorrow. Close call I think - I’ve got to start recording height here b4 I top them. They are growing - Kelp Meal (50%) being scratched into the surface of each plant, ahead of tomorrow’s feeding. Its a Monthly - next meal of nutes is 2 Litres; posted above ( if the soils ready ) 25th - topped both plants in the wee hours. Healthy and each was growing a 6th node, so they were chopped. Of course cotyledon leaf and 1st serrated leaf were removed. I ended up cutting node 1 off, (which was really healthy!) and using healthy node 2 & 3 - fed 2 Litres ea. p.m. (2.5 next) Aug 26 - used some rubber-wire to hold Congo in place, N.M. is just a bit behind - next meal posted above @ 2.5 L, nutrient content going Up^ Aug 27th - Last day week 2 Yehaw !! Ladies look strong, big impressive leaves reaching across the pots. - adjusting grow-lights because of Leaf Surface temp. Starting a little project featuring Random, non temp-Interfering observations ie: open zip just enough to see set-point/temp and then read leaf temp… zip-up, not letting room environment change for 24 hours. I'll generate an average for conditions with this Temp set-point & new adjusted height. The study involves lowering cmh light to increase a desired leaf temp to its ideal and most efficient temp. Above a certain temp, leaves physically cannot respire or breath (CO2 conversion) and then Fail to carry-out the biggie: Photosynthesis. Temp swings within a heating system, you know... a 5-6 degree temperature swing, could put your plants into a 2 hour period where they simply are producing zero, cuz its too hot... Goal; maybe finding a higher position/lower leaf temp, that brings constant results - Most efficient for the plants, as it stands is to keep the top leaf Lower than Room Temp. ~ 2.0 degrees Thats the notion I’m working with… my Congo just showed another incident of leaf roll aka Light Stress! And yep, my leaf temp was matching the actual 27.5c room temp. B4 lights out I lifted the lite 2” and shut them off a little early to help the plant - (n2 deficiency is something I'm looking into as well, with regard to leaf roll) - going to sniff around locally for a device to make a map of the hot zones see if I can reposition plants accordingly - daily Foliar feed might have cooled them a bit at lites-out, so they were fed and are not crispy! - temp survey starts just in (phukn) time; tonight. 4 categories. CMH 315 Distance; BULB to Plant top leaf, Tent temp Set/Pt, Actual Tent-Temp shown & Top fan leaf(s) temperature. - INCREASED EXHAUST FLOW 1 NOTCH TO HELP MOVE "HOT AIR" and make it a little friendlier to start.

Aug 28th - Heater issues ironed-out - removed Fan leaves from both plants, and Topped each of the Top branches - sticky traps added as another barrier or layer of defense. Airborne critters showing up; sweet - feeding 2.5L dinner to Natural Mystic & Congo Aug 30th - Topped the upper branch on the Natural Mystic, 1st node; and the lower branch of the Congo, after the 2nd Node Aug 31 am - removed some fan leaves from Congo, which is just a step ahead of Nat Myst, and I took 4 from Nat Mystic as well Sept 1st - 3Litres of dinner ea. w/ Molasses - Topped the Btm branch of Natural Mystic & took 4 fan leaves from Congo. They are growing nicely and steadily *** LEAF-TEMPERATURE STUDY became complicated lol. It took several days to find the balance point in my specific tent. Fresh air in, hot air out, circulating fans, humidifier, heater and a hot light in a 4x4 x7. -it took me to lowering the whole system temperature, and lifting the lite away, before I could gain seperation between the leaf temperature, and the room temperature. Right now 24/7, I have an average room temp of 27.8c & a leaf temp avg of 25.5c = just what I was looking for ~ 2 degree spread The 315watt cmh lite with a 3100k bulb is 40” away. Sept 2 - amending the soil with a layer of Sheep-manure compost, Kelp Meal, Perlite, a bit of Epsom Salts & some real dirt. Treating all 4 plants with ~ 1” or so each. Sept 3rd - last day of the week - secured the topped-ends on the Congo and removed the Fan leaves from the Natural Mystic. - N.M. gets secured this evening, Its a different plant with a far more robust structure. It wants to grow straight-up

Sept 4th - this weeks focus will be on guiding the new branches in a healthy way, towards a last Topping for the top branches (4) ** Next time I’m for sure leaving a node on each branch b4 Topping the next junction = Less topping events - nutes get bumped-up Sept 5th - fed the kids in the a.m., 1.5L (50%) ea - re-secured branches, everybody looks cozy 6th a.m. - Topped the Congo, top-branch x 4; this plant is done being prepped, with 16 Colas as ordered please. - second, Smaller feedings will be just H2O / Molasses in the future. Elevated nutrient levels in the big feeds are definitely desired… and Not wanting to lock-up the plant has the smaller feed making sense, that its just water… *** P.S. anybody that’s read this, and has an opinion… I’d love to hear how people handle big nute loads, while managing a heaLthy, doable TDS… Sept 7th, - bigger feed tonight; 3.5L ea - Topped the last 4 sites of the Natural Mystic. Both plants are now prepped for whats ahead - still “misting” the Foliar treatments at lites-out if i can (fulvic acid / transport / h2o) - bringing the temp down a bit Sept 10 - last day of week 4 - fed the plants 2L H2O/Molasses first thing this morning - applied some traction and trimmed a few of the fans (yowza)

Sept 11th - they look great; congo is flourishing - Natural Mystic is one Condensed little knot of leaves n stems. Everything is there, Toppings complete, structure is excellent, it just needs to expand a little bit. Patience on shaping this one Sept 12th, spent a few minutes early today, defoliating and pinning down the branches of the Natural Mystic. She is a dense and tightly structured plant at this stage. Small steps, and so cool to see 3 examples of canna-plants that are so different. ( make that 4 with a hi-tech auto in there ) - funny to see the difference in size between Congo & Natural Mystic, they are the same age ( congo left, mystic btm ) - soil moisture check tonight. Should be feeding time, will lift pots and check weight - there is a continued growth in meal volumes; its for the Soil just as much as the plant, and establishing a root system in a 15 gal pot needs some Volume. Looking ahead, I can see Time as being the limitation between drowning your soil, or allowing a watering cycle with some Need in there, twice every 7 days - still trying to achieve it 13th - tonight will see the plants get fed. The soil was still in the wet zone last night and we’ll get’r done 2nite if its ready. - fed congo 4.5L and NM 4L Sept 14 - N.M. has begun throwing out Foliage at the node sites, so all is good and she is not fighting the attention. Amazing to see the size diff between Congo & N.M. at this stage in development. See what happens next. Lites-out in… say… 3-4 weeks ha hahahaha lol (go northern lites) 15th - trimmed last 4 Tiny fan leaves on N.M. and applied LST. She’s got a shape 17th - last day of week 5 - Water/Molasses tonight congo 2.25L & n.m. 2L ea

Sept 18th - LST scheduled for N.M. this evening. She is ready to be exposed - next meal 19th or 20th depending on moisture of the soil; 5L Congo / 4.5L N.M. (getting close to target) - might be a problem with the main stalk on the N.M. at the upper Topping site. A hole has appeared at the base of the upper Topping site. Sending it to “questions” w/ photo *** have released & removed Natural Mystic from this grow, so Congo can be considered on its own… Games, ok I’ll play - details for N.m. still to be relayed cuz its in the same soil/tent. Ohmmmmm 20th - kelp meal added to surface, scratched-in ~ 8 & 6 tbsp ea. - feeding tonight for sure; menu above, congo 5L / Nat Myst 4.5L 22nd - did a little defoliation in removing some of the leaves along the branches. Removing any Larf from this grow… Its the Colas we are after this grow - man has the Natural Mystic (guest) ever turned things up. Its hapnin. - wondering about the life expectancy of the Autoflower in the tent. The Northern Lites Express will dictate when “Lights-out” happens for these 3 photo-periods, as they then go into flower. May need all the room available lol as it looks like a 10 week veg is easily going to happen. (Not rushing auto) - Power Failure has entered the 3rd hour for half of Sarnia. Its all new for me on this one - just opened the tent doors for some air flow/O2 - 4+ Hour power outage last nite. Power returned and they will get a couple of hours of extra lite today Sept 24th - last day week 6 - 1/2 volume h2o / molasses tonight; 2.75L congo / 2.5L n.m. ***Oct 8 is Lights-out for 36 hours, heading into Flower. Northern lights Express auto… is going to take too long to finish, so it is being moved, and a 4-week old Green Mountain Grape will be taking its spot. This tent will be ready for flower with such a strange cast*** - 2x 9-week plants, 1 x 8-week plant and a 4-week old hybrid will be ready at lites-out in 2 weeks ** had to make a call, cant veg forever. My early LST actions really seem to have delayed basic bud development on the auto. Things are moving, just seems another 5-6 weeks is realistic for it

Sept 25th a.m. - fed ea. Congo and Natural Mystic 1/2 volume H2o/ Molasses mix; C 2.75L / NM 2.5L - fresh LST where needed - light survey showed an imbalance with taller autoflower in the mix. It was LST’d into a lower profile and moved deeper into the corner. Light distance for the Congo etc is now dialed-in after a bit of a shuffle. *** reminder Oct 8 is Lights-Out *** 36 hrs of darkness 26th - followed-up on yesterdays LST and put some actual direction on the Nat Mystic Branches. Its a tightly spaced unit but the branches are getting into some open air now. Look-out for what happens next 27th, - everything looks great this morning. Big feeds tonight if soil allows; 6.5L congo / 6L NM ** topping observation ** In an effort to produce a 16 cola plant using Topping methods, i am in the middle of a side by side topping experiment, and it does look like one method, Does has an advantage over the other! Waiting for each branch to grow past its first Node, and then produce a second Node, this will be the place to top, once the plant grows Past this 2nd node, on each branch. What results is that you only snip each branch Once, after the original Topping. 5 snips will produce 16 Tops. Allow each branch to grow past the 2nd node, then Top. It will produce 4 nodes naturally on each branch. Better overall spacing/symmetry The other significant feature of this response, is that the Durban Poison was a full week behind the Congo & N.M., and it has caught-up and Passed the progress of the natural mystic. Both of these plants (congo/nm) used the extra topping on the upper branch, and its required longer periods for the 4 bud-sites to develop per branch and extend away from the plant. It required more delicate fiddling than the (d)Urban Poison. **** - short video of the Tent uploaded this morning - no feed tonight, too moist 29th a.m. - soil said Go this morning; 6.5L h2o/nutes for the congo & 6L for the natural mystic - Collected details from N.M. & Congo run-off - pulled Northern Light express auto from the tent and replaced her with a 3.5 week old Green Mountain Grape. Move was done to help acclimatize to the cmh lite, ahead of Flower BONUS, you can actually see a bit of a droop on the Congo leaves… this mornings feed was 2 days overdue; the pot was actually lite & confirmed for me the condition of the soil is OK and not waterlogged. Pushed her a little bit towards a Drier Bottom since her last feed. Nice to see that as I crank it up - GMG has been super-cropped on the 28th, to help establish an even canopy - Slip, Snap, lost a Cola. Even though it was the runt, its gonna be missed 30th - OK, did a little homework last nite and the timing could not be better for me, with regards to Flushing 3 plants, ahead of the move into Flower. This stems from capturing some of the run-off after a bigger feed. What resulted is I found a high EC value on the Natural Mystic (3200) that indicates a build-up of Salts in the soil. The Volume 33% says its a bit much… i have been aggressive in my nutrient values but its been incremental. Regardless N.M. gets a quick bath to flush out this bit o History. Congo had less liquid come through but was still an elevated value (EC 2300) and will receive a Flush as well. ((d)URBAN POISON barely had any liquid come out. It will be flushed as well. Call it a tune-up, I’m in. * should anybody see something from those results that I’m missing or misinterpreted… Id be happy to hear about it. Please & Thanks pH probably has something to do with it too, but I don't care right now Effluent details: -Nat Myst released 2L out the bottom after being fed 6L : I’m going to reduce the volume of Water & Nutes fed, targeting 15% run-off. (5L next feed) -Congo released 600ml after 6.5L was fed; Which is a reasonable amount in active use; close to 10% - with height a constant issue in a tent, in my basement… i’m super happy with how low this whole grow has stayed through Veg. Kinda shocked actually… pic #23 - flushed Natural Mystic w/ 20 gallons water - (the little kids pool that I inflate, to flush-in… of course, sprouted a whole shitload of leaks in the Bottom when I was about 18 gallons in. And Yeh, the discharge hose on my electric pump DID COME OUT OF THE SINK DRAIN, 2x. I had water everywhere lol. Actually out in the garage taking care of things right now) Oct 1 - last day week 7 - re-applied the pins holding Nat Mystic in place. She is damp, Healthier & Hungry soon; target = 2 Meals b4 Lights-out. With Congo flush 100% happening… both Meal volumes tbd - been a busy week & things are about to change again. Learnings impact all the different grows. I’ve never flushed Mid-grow; and I’m liking-it !

Oct 2nd - flushed Congo ((d)Urban Poison and Northern Lights) last night to remove Salts built-up in the soil; 25 gallon min. ea. Guess how pleasant they were to move Back into the House? … down a flight of stairs lol. It may be from the Congo, but I felt like frickin Tarzan afterwards Oct 3rd, - plan is to let Congo dry out for another day or two or three. Natural Mystic may be fed tomorrow depending on the Soil moisture (being the first plant flushed) - when Congo is Fed next, that will probably be the last full-day of Light before Flowerings “Lites-out” - Natural Mystic looks Fresh Oct 4th - top-dressed surface with Kelp Meal, scratched it in - feeding N.Mystic tonight; very slowly…5.5L (reduced to 5.5L due to excessive run-off last feed; 33% of feed came out the btm) - reached a milestone with this Congo; next meal is 7L 5th - steady as she goes - day 3 since the flush, the moisture meter has dropped large enough on Natural Mystic, it was fed 6L over 70 minutes. Will see if the run-off is less than last week from slow watering: No, the run-off was actually more, with slow-feeding. Volume reduced. -realized there was no space BETWEEN THE POTS, to allow for any airflow… so I made some gaps in the floor-plan. Not rocket science, just N observation. Its going to help regardless of whether I can see the difference. 6th - Congo fed 7L, no issues

Oct 16th, - small feed @ 2.75L, menu above Oct 20th - moisture meter says she gets fed tonight; 6L - Buds are growing on each branch, see pic - whole plant is lifting at the same time -natural mystic was opened up with some LST training on the 19th. It was good to see the stem structure extending further from the base, and I was able to spread the footprint out quite a bit more. And this morning you could not see a single branch, it had covered itself up once again You Grow NM. ( see pics 5 & 6, back and forth, its funny overnite action) - while carrying out the LST I also cleaned-out the leaves from the middle of the Congo plant for the last time, for a few weeks lol 21st - it took 2 LST sessions in 3 days, to be able to see through the Nat Mystic. 22nd - last day of the week. No touch… - as a Branch extends beyond the perimeter of the Flex-pot, it is secured to the side loosely. Its on its own for a while

Oct 23rd - entering this week at full speed. Lots of LST applied last week and now there are Buds forming on each Branch. - food in a couple of days. - adding Kelp Meal to the surface and scratching it in; 5 tbsp - hands-off 🙌 this week is my goal. If it needs tying down = its done, otherwise… no touch - planning time - thinking Bout how crowded a 4x4 will get with 4 sativas going hard… i’m thinking the Humidifier in the Middle, may just open some grow space… and getting the heater (black box) off the ground also opens some space options. I din’t hear many people talking about heaters, other than these micro-furnaces… are there any specific small pot-tent heaters, we should be looking towards ? In the meantime, looking at available space and providing heat here in the People’s Republic of Ontario Oct 25th - last fed on the 20th, next Congo half-feed happens tonight; h20 / rezin / Molasses @ 2.75L - Natural Mystic fed 2.25L Oct 27th - tent has become much more manageable with the ejection of Green Mountain Grape plant. Which was found to be a Male… Now there are 3 Healthy Ladies with room to grow. 29th - big meal tonight for Congo @ 6L, soil is ready. I have extended this gap to afford a lighter drier plant. (No wilt all good !) - Natural Mystic will have a thirst, soil readiness tba - attached a few more branches (LST) from the Congo to the outer edges of the flex-pots. They can go Vertical now. -last day of the week and Buds are forming, and a Stretch has definitely begun -looking for the best footprint before they get big. A scrog (2) will be used for sure. ease and access to the plants in the interim

Nov 6th - fed last nite (nov 5) - took some photos last nite to give an indication of the reach thats happening on this low-profile grow Nov 8th - looking into applying a scrog net, now that there is vertical and uneven growth - checking Soil moisture to see if its dinner-time tonight. Amazing to see how some plants can gulp a batch of liquid. Both plants had half feeds last time. Tonight; congo 5.5L / Natural Mystic 5 - applied some fresh LST to both plants. Nov 10th - with a full POWER OUTAGE ALL DAY LONG, I did not feed the Tent, 1/2 meals or otherwise last night. Having a wet diaper and no Heat for the bulk of the day, just sat wrong. Tonight they can get nourished while they just hold-tight a little longer - Congo was fed 5.5L & Nat Myst 5L. (no Molasses this feed) Nov 12th - last day of week 14

Nov 13th - Natural Mystic is putting a growth spurt to good effect. Some vertical actions I will share later on. Seems she has broken from her shell and is reaching outwards - The Congo is being really uniform and equal, with how it is raising a Canopy that is just aBout the same height all the way around. Nov 14th - ea. gets a half-feed this evening; 3.5 & 3L; congo / nat mystic of H20 / Rezin / Molasses Nov 15th - applied the SCROG netting to help keep the leaf / room temps in order - (d)Urban was positioned & then laid horizontal by the mesh with room to grow. Same goes for the other two tonight. Busy areas of the Congo to go Under the net, not squished out the side etc etc Nov 17th, - the Scrog net was lifted slightly and Congo was rotated until Most of the reaching plant could be placed under the Scrog. Room was made for Nat Mystic and the net has dropped. Looks disgustingly Flat, like the damn Prairies @ 20cm… but the net is Full of Life. - all 3 plants have room to grow “out” and for the time being, its Safe to go “Up” Nov 19th - last day of week 15 - full meals tonight w/ Molasses; 5.5L Congo , 5L Nat Mystic - SCROG net is amazing at how uniform of an environment it has created. Trajectories can be seen and planning the grow now, is a bunch of tiny steps. Tuck - Shift - sideways & just a little that-way… lites-out, more later

Nov 20th - plants were fed last nite - lowered room temp a bit, re: leaf temps and light height (max) - fiddled a bit with pot positions, trapping a few more bud branches Nov 22nd - I’d be lying if the constant heat stress from the CMH lamp , was not partly responsible for the really whispy and fine ends to the branches of all three plants under this light. To keep the top leaves cooler than the room, has me with the light pinned to the ceiling already, with more than enough breezes blowing in/out. All flows have been tweeked and altered; this light has to go. I have no room to grow in this 6’+ tent with 315w cmh providing nrg. - heading back towards new (cooler) LED technology. ** to be honest, kind of worried about how stagnant this cluster of 3 plants has become. Nothing is thriving. Pistils seem grey on durban & congo, not bright & fresh. Monitoring the leaf temp, may have seen me move the light too far away… kind of at a loss in wk 16/17. I will post some pics tonight of the Pistil conditions etc. Nov 24th - Going to try and boost the metabolism with smaller, more frequent meals for a bit. Starting tonight 3L Nov 26th - last day of the week

Nov 27th - asked a question to the collective group of Growers. Could the Male, found a month ago, in-tent, could this have thrown the whole tent into Neutral? Not sure what direction to take right at this point. Re-Veg, Flush n Feed anew, but its not really changing or responding to nurturing / maintenance actions. Does the Plug get yanked?! Its like it has not progressed past the 3rd week of Flower… 29th - scrog lifted to access plants during this assessment Nov 30th -added kelp meal; 5 tbsp, ahead of 3.5L feed tonight - LED light source brought into play @ 60 % @ 60cm - re-applied the Scrog Dec 3rd - last day of the week -there is room in this tent for 2 more young plants just about to enter the Flower stage.

Has the Male plant found a month ago, ruined the rest of the Tents plants? Since the Green Mountain Grape was found to be a male, the entire tent has gone into Pause, without Herms or other obvious signs showing up. The plant was removed immediately but the tent is lagging

hey there, looks like it's either an unstable genetics problem or that these simply take really really long in flower. cant imagine it being for a different reason

Dec 4th - entering this week with some positive responses from each of the three strains in the tent. And the responses are based on a short period of receiving bright light, a subtle shift in meal planning and a confirmation in the benefits of applying soil amendments… Dec 5th - dinner tonight, as posted above; 3L Dec 8th - adding a couple of inches of “Living Soil” as a soil amendment to all plants in the tent. Ingredients are all Organic and beneficial components. Picture posted of ingredients Dec 10th - last day of week 18 *** for anybody just joining this tent, there had been a period when things just stopped progressing, for 5-6 weeks. A change in lights to LED and some of meal dynamics and routines, plus a boost via soil amendment… have seen the 3 veterans and the 2 newbies get really busy again *** that is what has been running in the background Thanks to the Guru’s n Grand Masters for their input. I seem to be coming out of this dive with quite a bit of life still happening

Dec 18th - added a small dose of Dolomite Lime to the soils surface and scratched it in. Mostly prevention but also to ensure the soil pH stays where it is. - drying the medium out a bit ahead of the next feed. - Overdrive to be included in the nutrients from here on in, to help finish strong re: Potassium and Phosphorus boost - buds are definitely filling and still producing a nice hairy 2nd-crop of Pistils Dec 20th - next feed-volume down to 2.5L… in a day or two-three. Moisture check tonight etc etc Goal of being stingy with the water = Un-clawing the leaves… - Natural Mystic looks like her Buds are starting to Pile-on some size ( fingers-crossed ) and it appears the decay of the fan leaves, may have begun. Mat Mystic was going to be the 1st of the 3 to finish regardless; ~ 8-9 weeks flower as stated. Given the stall in the middle of Flower because of the light / heat issues etc, the clock is ticking once again. Unsure of where the plant is in her own cycle and I’m unfamiliar with anything close to this type of re-Flowering, lets hope it treats it like a full cycle. I am definitely going to ride it out accordingly, this vigorous Pistil growth is a super positive sign. Same goes for the (d)Urban Poison. 22nd - moisture / soil pH checks tonight… ** Surprised to find a few pockets of soil with a pH of 5.0 - a small 2L liquid booster was made with a pH of 6.9, this was made and added to help activate the Lime, which was applied and mixed-into the soil a couple of days ago. Dec 24 - last day week 20

Dec 25th - Merry X-mas everybody!!! - fresh pictures tonight - great to start this week with solid growth (smelly) throughout both Congo and Natural Mystic Dec 27th - checked the Soil this morning and still found spots with a pH of ~ 5.0 - soil is still moist, probably not enough air flow “between the pots” for humidity/moisture to hang-on like this ( tent is a steady 25c) Adding some space between Pots tonight Dec 28th - found out that Congo is a Hermie, with about a dozen Nanners showing this morning. First incident of a Hermaphrodite plant developing in my care. Spotted the yellow first thing this morning. -plan is to snip-off the obvious Nanners, and spray the local area w/water. Then to Flush the plant and move it to the small tent for the final week or two and See what the Hermies bring. If it has to be chopped… it will be, but theres time here. No experience with this scenario, if I’m wrong in my approach please let me know. I’m researching today while they sleep - plant Flushed w/ 32 gallons / effluent EC >100, draining for an hour then into a “private” 12/12 tent & #marshydroled ** i see any seeds found a bonus really. Especially if they are working models. Buds are priority right now; smart salvage is what i’m looking for; hopefully continued grow Dec 29th - tweezed-off 9 or 10 pollen bananas and sprayed local area with h20. Plant looks strong, Pistils have begun to turn from light to earthtone / orange, all progress - I’m leaning towards sticking to the course and nurturing this situation for a few days. She’s comfy, cool bright light and no neighbours. Not eager to chop her down -posted meals will feature the Congo diet. Working on a 75% strength diet. Easing the pressure a bit - Natural Mystic will follow (d)Urban Poison menu from here on in Dec 31st - last day of the week - no visible Bananas - dinner of h2o / nutes tonight @ 75% strength, 3L quickie

January 1st, - Congo still has pockets of low pH soil (5-5.5) Yesterday she was fed @ 6.8 pH * * Dolomitic Lime was added to the soil last week in an effort to bring these low pH pockets up -plant soil was still 7+ Jan 3rd -Natural Mystic fed last night (2nd); 3L - Congo is not in any dire conditions, seeming to be healthy and no new Bananas - back to the big tent tonight for Congo [After photos and trichome checks] ** durban poison gets flushed and put in 2’ tent for observation / finishing tonight. (d)Urban is far closer to harvest than Congo (last) or Natural Mystic (next) Jan 4th, - soil pH checks - lots of clear trichomes show there is still Life in this plant. But the Amber ones are throughout as well. Getting closer to the Last weeks for these plants. Durban is in the dark… Nat Mystic and Congo are next Jan 6th - dinner for Nat Mystic tonight only. Congo is too moist - Flush for the Natural Mystic had been decided to happen on Sat. 7th - last day week 22 - lots of attention on other plants… but this Congo is laying down frosty patches! & sending bulging calyx’s off at crazy angles. So all seems good. - soil is ready water and limited nutes fed tonight; 3.5L congo

Jan 8th - plant(s) fed last nite @ 3.5/(3.0)L - both plants laying down patches of FROST, Congo is changing the Pistil colours to a rusty orange - w/ reduced nutes and Molasses Congo tds was 970ppm. Nat Mystic @ 1100 - solved an old desire to have a lower temperature in the tent, when the lights are off. Using a pin timer and restricting the operation of the Heater during the plants nite-cycle, has brought the average temp @ nite, down to where I’d like it; 18.5-19c Jan 9th - Natural Mystic got Flushed tonight. Aiding in the flush I am using FloraKleen to help @ 5ml/gal. 20 gal total used to get run-off below 100ppm Jan 10th - new meals posted above for the kids Jan 12th - with both plants flushed, I am building a nutritional snack for their next watering; tonight or tomorrow. I’m building an Aerated Compost Tea; 1 cup Worm Castings (compost component), 1 tbsp Kelp Meal, 3 tbsp Molasses, 1 Dead banana skin and a 1/3 tsp of Power Bloom granule - tea’s E.C. has gradually grown to 305ppm over last 18 hrs - last big feed for each plant maybe - both plants display some Amber but there is still a good showing of clear trichomes, as of the 10th. Jan 14th - last day of the week - natural mystic moved to the small tent for finishing - congo remains in big tent, made more accessible for photos / feedings - each plant fed 5L of aerated compost tea. Great timing, they were ready

Jan 15th - both plants last-fed aerated compost tea on the 14th - soil checks, trichome checks & some status photos tonight - nat mystic is getting real close to harvest, might be making that call tonight - Soil is Ok, not thirsty. trimmed the Fan leaves off for the hanging process. No moisture left in them ha. Lots of Amber trichomes with clear patches equally mixed in Cloudy. Given the halted grow, this is close enough for now. Calling it lights-out and will review the trichome shots today while it's in the dark. It’s time for Natural Mystic Jan 17th - soil will be ready for some aqua tonight; NOPE - this morning also marks the 25th hour of Natural Mystic being in the dark. harvest steps have begun JAN 18th, - Natural Mystic becomes a reality today. 48hrs of dark and she has a visit to the Scales, and then some fresh-air - call it a wet harvest for Mystic, there are very few Sugar leaves to trim and most of the Fan leaves were already MT… & gone. She’s Done ✅ ** natural mystic branches hit the scales. Buds are really, nicely “dense” for one of my grows! at 187g, we’ll see where she goes, moisture wise over the next 5-7 days ** - she’s Dank; and just a guest, remember - Congo is looking Fit, bulking-up. She is now the Star with Calyx growth all over - began brewing a batch of Aerated Compost Tea for the soil drench tomorrow, on the Congo. She gets a good wetting (low-fat snack) ahead of this next weeks developments. -she’s dank lol and just a guest remember - bottom sections of each Congo branch are really Filling-in. Calyx factory of sorts. New Pistils are still being generated, as thousands are beginning to look crispy. - feeding Congo a friendly ~ 30hr. Tea; dead rotting banana, kelp meal, molasses, worm casings… aerated as req’d. Everything in the house gets a taste. 20th - after a little mtce and mug-shots, maybe 2 hours of lite, Congo was put into the dark tent for a few days. 18.5c @ 45-50 rh % with a tiny indirect airfow… Jan 21st - last day of the week, and Chop-Hang is next on Sat pm or Sunday noonish. Thats a Harvest - congo is @ 49% rh and 18.5c 22nd - Natural Mystic is hanging a week as of today and is taking on a Dank and ominous Skunky attitude. No snap in the branches yet, humidity dropped to 45% for a day or two. Happy to be hanging into the 2nd week - tonight is 48hrs of Dark for the Congo. She will be harvested on Sunday morning / noon after 72 dark hours

Jan 23rd On many levels this has been a tremendous grow, just for the experience alone. Classic genetics and all this has proven CONGO to be a TRULY beautiful LANDRACE strain of Cannabis. Even the hanging-tent has an ominous earthy floral smell to it. Handling this treasure with care. Without question I have to grow this strain again soon. This version was so hampered with height control at the beginning I cannot wait to see one go unrestricted outdoors ( or topped indoors ) It’s going to happen again *The power value for this grow is incorrect. The Mars Hydro did not play a role in this grow and the extra 150watts is not accurate. Jan 24, Natural Mystic has been dark & hanging for 9 days now and is not finished yet, which is great news! But I did snip a Nugget And the smoke took the top part of my Head-off for 20 - 25 minutes. Which was amazing !!! A beautiful little trip right where I was standing. Then, when things settled I shovelled snow for an hour. So the Natural Mystic has already lived-up to its name Reeferman Genetics. Nice Work ! Thanks for the Strain, this one goes outside this Summer !! Jan 25th - today began with snapping branches on day 10 of the Natural Mystic harvest. And I finished with 20% of the chopped branches n buds as finished Buds And is it ever an amazing Herb. Cure has begun in the jar, photos arrive later with a little daylight. 26th - Congo is just hanging, and she smells of moisture in the air today, which is great on day 4, out with that moisture. Tent Air-flow is positive, indirect and gentle. 18.5c and back to 50%rh - fan leaves stripped tonight, they have done their job - buds seem a little dry, on the brittle side. Tried a few branches, all bend quietly
