Just getting everything finished setting up and ready to roll for the next 12 or so weeks : ).
Picked up the Fox Farm's classic trio as well, stick to what I know works for now. Also added some Cal-Mag by Botanicare, as per the LGS guys recommendation.

Growth on the mentos is going great! Nice strong green girls, and they’re getting big fast! The bag seed trio I had, I put up two of the sisters for adoption to a great caring family 😂
The bag seed plant I kept that was yellowing bad last week made a full recovery. Turns out it was nitrogen deficiency, easy fix 😃. The mentos are doing lovely, chugging right along. Seems to be a few different phenos so far, #3 and #4 both seem to be similar (short bushy) and #2 is much taller than the rest and doesn’t have much lower growth at all, I feel like #1 is going to be the star of the grow. She’s looking perfect so far, good spacing on her and has some nice shoots growing in on all the lower leaf sets already at just 17 days! Enjoy the update fellas 🤙🏻😎
All 5 plants are growing great now! Started flowering my bag seed plant to go ahead and get it sexed ahead of flipping the light. I'm feeling a female! She's looking too good to be a boy. The mentos is recovering great from the topping, as you can see she's starting to bush out quite nice, all but #2 (the taller, single stalk one). Went ahead and started tying back all the branches that were getting ready for it. Also started defoliating some of the would be larf from the lower nodes to give them more energy to the future colas! We're almost there guys and gals, flowering time is right around the corner! Hopefully a week or so away. I can't Fu@k!ng wait! LESSSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Canopy has began to fill in very nice, actually a little surprised given how lanky the one pheno was looking. My bag seed plant I was holding out hope of being female has let me down, she or should I say HE, showed his first little plant nuts a day or two ago. SMH 🤦♂️. Oh well, that's what we got the feminized seeds for anyway 😂. Hopefully we have some little flowers to show you guys in the next week or so! Growth is Great! I switched my MH out for the HPS on Saturday, I left the MH in for the first week of flowering bc I had read some bro science shit that the blue light helps with stretching or some crap 😂. I also came to the conclusion I have probably been underwatering them slightly the past week or so anyway. My #3 plant keeps trying to droop some of her leaves on the top half of the plant. Also think she might not be liking the high temps the past week or two 😬 Otherwise everything looks very healthy to me anyway. Have a tent on the way thats a good bit bigger than the closet everything is in now, so hoping that helps with temps.
These girls are LOOOOONGG! The stretch has been like no other I have ever seen! 2 of the plants are well over 2 ft. tall, one of which was already super cropped at the beginning of flower because it had a few mains a little higher than the rest on it. The other 2 aren't too far off though, they're right there with them. I've been out of space in my closet horizontally for about the last week or so, and was quickly running out of vertical space as well so I upgraded spaces to a new AC Infinity tent, 3' x 3' x 6', ANDDDDDD come to find out I'm rapidly approaching the ceiling of that already on day 1 in the tent! We're almost at 3 full weeks flowering (since light flip) so I'm hoping like hell this stretch is over or about there because if not, it's going to be a super long 6-7 weeks, smh 😳. MAN... This was a baddddd week. Found male flowers on 2 of the 4 plants initially. Got rid of the 2 hermies, later that evening I was spending some time looking over the girls and found a single male flower on a 3rd plant. So at this point I am down to 2 plants.. Kinda sucks tbh, I was majorly looking forward to these beauts harvest. 😥. The one that is 100% female, I did manage to get a nice clone off of, so I can keep the strain going. Never had a single hermie in all the plants I've ever grown, always used fem seeds too. On a posi note the two that I was able to keep look great so far!
Have been trimming some cover leaves off the top of the canopy to allow some light to hit the lower buds, actually seems to be having some positive impact! The girls are looking lovely, after the herms were gone from last week I decided I was going to say fuck it and use the beastie bloomz on my remaining 2 plants. They seem to be loving it! No signs of nute burn or anything at all after 2 feedings, at half strength (1/8 tsp/G). Buds are forming nicely. Definitely 2 distinctly different phenos for sure, one is going to be fat and fuely, the other seems like its leaning more towards a sativa look, almost has a pink hue to it when I look at them. 🤤 Smell is also starting to come on fairly strong at this point as well as trichome formation. Other than the hermie issue I'm kinda diggin these things so far!
Well guys the time is growing near!! They are looking and smelling great! I literally cannot wait to try this stuff, Its been SOO long since I had some good true small batch home grown medicine :).Been giving straight PH'd water this past week and have been getting some dried out crispy yellow leaves. So we're going to give one last dose of tiger bloom and cal mag this week, and after that they'll be getting plain water til the end. Not a whole lot to say other than that, Enjoy the pics and hopefully we're harvesting within the next couple of weeks. This saturday makes 7 completed weeks : ) OOOOuuuuuuu-eeeeeeeeeeee!!! : )
Does anyone know what could be causing the curling upwards on the leaves and burn spots, Yellowing as well? They're 7 weeks into flower and have been fed fox farms nutrients each other watering the whole grow until last week. The past week I have used plain water. Ph&PPM fine.
It’s definitely going to make your life easier. The more you inspect the more you’ll learn what to look for. You’ll be a pro at it in no time. Cheers bro.
Were almost there! No more nutes just plain water from here out, checked trich's this morning and plant one is essentially all cloudy. Plant 2 is mostly cloudy with a few clears still so I am starting my "flush" now. I'm shooting for an 8 week finish on plant one to hopefully give a lighter daytime smoke, and going to let plant 2 get a little riper while these clones get ready for the tent. I tried a tester bud off plant one after letting hang dry for a few days and its a nice smoke already. Got me nice and stoned to start the day! 👽 ✌️
Plant #1 (bushy, lanky pheno, skinny buds absolutely COVERED in trichs) Harvested at 56 days or exactly 8 weeks from 12/12 flip. Had a good 75-80% cloudy, 10% amber, and a few clear trichs. Dried at 48-59% RH, 3 days hanging/ rack drying and was dry enough for me to put into jars (few hours open, few hours closed) early tester smoke was phenomenal! Super heady high, lasted a good 2-3 hours for me and I am an all day dab and flower smoker! That's saying something to me! I cant wait to smoke her once it cures a bit more, super excited! Smell is not too overpowering, smells very floral and earthy, complete opposite of plant #2 (garlic-y, funky, cookie heavy smell 🤤👅
