So last week I killed one of the plants that looked male to me, I fed it to the chickens. I transplanted one of the girls that shared a pot with someone else to the newly vacated one, but she went through some definite stress, which is to be excpected. She may not look pretty right now but she's pulling through. I think this week the girls are switching over to the early flowering stage. No pistils, but they're ramping up!
This diary is almost finished! Just waiting for dry numbers. Would like to than @Jaindoh, @Dahoola, @Dunk_Junk and @Mrs_Larimar for following along and all your support!
@dahoola, thanks. I'll be sure to let you guts know when I do. I know the parent plants (I included at in the grow title) but as you said there's no test data on Ron Jeremy that I have found. Pretty sure it's a Sativa dominant hybrid. We'll see!
I would go easy on the nutrients. If the numbers are correct I think you're using way too much! Don't fall into the trap of thinking more nutrients will help and make a bigger plant.
I've heard when you get nutrient lockout it affects the plant for another 2 weeks while the plant tries to survive and 'fix' itself.
HTH! 👍
@Mrs_Larimar, Definitely considering doing this now or a high tunnel next year. I already grow a lot of tomatoes as it is, and am considering growing for market next year so this makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the suggestion!
@Fibro_Witch,may b.e we gotr a dry year and there is no need for a greenhouse. (climate change say thankyou (ironic) i dont know how good are you handcrafitng skills are but a tomatoroof is enough for the girls even better
www.youtube.com/watchwww.youtube.com/watch crazy stuff.. ints in german but great
@Larimar, Yes, They're filled with beer. I got my greenhouse, but haven't set it up. The girls have grown so much in the past week I'm worried about the size, I don't want to crowd them!
Yeah when we had the whole "its a monsoon over the US" year i had outdoor plants in the ground and the ones that didnt drown outright locked out for a good while from it.
@@Sonoma_Sungrown, Honestly? Not really. The following year I used fish fertilizer, big bloom and molasses and got a better end product. For me, the 3 pack of chaching, open sesame and beasties blooms wasn't worth the money.
