Week 9 (4th week of flower):
Day 60: Well good morning sweetpea! Welcome to a new week. In all honesty, no real action to start the week. Monday (day 58's) watering is still holding in the soil until at least tomorrow, and probably until morning of Day 62. Plants will get moved temporarily out of the room tomorrow for a bit while we have an appliance guy here working on the dishwasher...so plants will need to be out of the tent (next to the boiler & breaker-panel for a bit. Not to worry too much, since it's a legal state and this is a grey area grow right now.

Day 61: Woke up early and removed all plants from grow tent and secreted them up in our guest room in the lap of luxury. Had a call in to the dishwasher repairman and while the call was 9am, he arrived at 4.30pm promptly! The grow tent wasn't moved but was minimized so that if anyone needed to access the breaker board it was noticeable but not occupied. Took the time to clean the floor pan and do some reorganization, so it's now neater and cleaner. I guess I could have fed tonight, but decided that tomorrow was a better option. Still working on NL#1 who has the best growth and bud formation but still has lemon-lime leaves. Did a soil slurry pH test and it sat right at 6.7, so I'm pretty happy with that. Will lean in a little bit to the Cal/Mag and the Nitrogen side of the feed for that one tomorrow.

Grow Questions

Seedlings staying low, am I doing something wrong?
Are these on track or slow/low? 1st time grow, 3 auto varieties. Today is the 14th day since seeds hit the soil. They look healthy, but they're all only 1.5" to 2" tall. Do I need to raise my lights? They're currently @ 14" above the leaves with 1x225wLED & 2x 32wLED.

They may be a bit over watered. Can't really comment on light hight ad unformiliar with it. With my lights it's about 18 inch above in veg, also your going need to pot up to your final container.

What is this leaf spotting?
Brown spots on my Auto Blueberry...What's causing this? They weren't there yesterday. Haven't moved my lights. Fed (GH Trio,CALiMAGic) Tuesday, watered today (Fri). pH runoff = 6.5 [email protected], Hum=58% None of my others (NL & Tan.Dream auto) have it.

Just give them straight up 6.5 water—- not 7— go lower. Looks more like a water spot/light burn…

What are optimal PPFD
Anyone have a quick and easy rule/suggestion for PPFD & lux for plants in Seedling, Vegetative & Flowering states? Lots of divergent answers online.
At plant top right now I'm currently at ~1000PPFD and the lux readings are 49,000-51,000. What are 'best practices' for this?

Lowest numbers to hit:
Seedlings: 200-300 μMols
Vegetative:

306 μMols
Flowering:

463 μMols

If you want to increase the amount of light from 20 to 40 moles per day, resulting in higher yields, you simply need to double the numbers above, but not the Seedling stage – 308 PPFD to 616 PPFD during the vegetative phase, and 463 PPFD to 925 PPFD during the flowering phase.

Seedlings: 200-300 μMols
Vegetative:

617

μMols
Flowering:

925

μMols

Best of luck and happy growing my friend.

Yellowing mid-plant?
My auto blueberry just started showing some yellowing mid-plant. It's first/second week of flower. Thoughts on what she needs? None of the others have it (Tangerine Dream & Northern Lights). Doesn't show signs of overwater. More deets below.

Hi— she just started to flower and it looks like there is a touch of purpling???
I think you are right—- get more aggressive on the feed. She looks like she is lacking potassium and phosphorus.

Vexatious yellowing I can't get to correct.
This Northern Lights auto is being vexatious...I can't get rid of the yellowing towards the bottom. Not overwatered, I've tried beefing up the nutrients, etc. with no effect. Any thoughts or do I just writing off as she's just being a jerk? Other plants in this grow are fine.

Cool, thanks WeGro. Updated a few things below. Most likely my PPM (my meter reads the EC as twice the PPM) was a little high on runoff though hard to pinpoint what it was now given time/evaporation. I did flush the soil pretty well and is reading .7EC after the flush. I did re-feed, but kept it to 1/2 strength but will bump it up moving forward. Still a bit leery there, since I've just seen a ton of people saying that Autoflowers are good for ~600ppm in flower for feeding and most people talk 1/4-1/2 range compared to standard photoperiod plants.
LeastExpectedGrower answered grow question 8 hours ago
Whelp, I didn't have any fresh runoff from my feed earlier today but I did get some of the older stuff that was left in the bottom of my saucer (read that as partially evaporated), and the readings were high, in the 2600 range, but again, that could have partially been because it was runoff that was evaporating for a good 4 hours. Decided since it was 'feed/water' day anyway, it wouldn't harm much to do a good flush on it. Poured 4 gallons through and it read back down to 365ppm on the tail of that runoff. Did do a half strength feed on the backside of it, with 660ppm. I also brought the lights up a bit, hitting around 650 ppfd now which still should be solid if light was indeed an issue. The others can wait it out until their soil dries, and I'll make sure to give them a good flush too just in case.

WeGro, I'd always read to go light on feeds for Autos, but I should hit them harder, past 600ppm total (seeing that my water starts at just over 200)? I can bring my light up too if needed, i'm sitting ~800PPFD at the top of this plant and the DLI is right around 50. All the plants are under the same conditions, this seems to be the one having trouble.
