Sweet Cheesy Twins! That's a first for me. I carefully replanted the smaller twin to the side on day 3, mostly as an experiment to see what it would do, but I'll probably remove it. I might even restart the cheese grow with another seed if the bigger twin doesn't pick up, but we'll see how it's doing in a week or two. Last grow my weirdest seedling yielded the most, so worth giving them a good chance :).
Not too bothered if I do need to germinate another sweet cheese seed as I'd already purposely chosen plants that finished at different times to stagger harvests(and time spent in trim jail), so at least the longer running plant was the one to go awry.
And the red poison's looking awesome for 7 days out of the soil, lots of side shoots are already incoming.
Looks super nice. I’m growing a red poison on my page as well right now, and I’ve noticed some of the same genetic traits you noticed on the leaves in veg. Yours looks bigger than mine tho xD.
@Muntjac, I sure hope so, everyone I’ve seen on this site who’s harvested this strain says the smell is awesome even if they don’t always get the color. Looks like you definitely popped a pretty purple pheno tho
@anonymousSoftwareProduct, Hiya! Thank you for the kind words, and for letting me know about your similar issues. I checked out your grow, and it's interesting because I also saw similar traits popping up for another grower, alongside normal non-twisty leaved red poisons. I wonder if a batch of seeds got overheated or something like that(maybe our plants are very close siblings? Kinda fun to think about it like that, at least :D). Either way, the flowers are coming along rather nicely despite the janky leaves, so I reckon you'll have a really good time with your grow regardless. You'll freaking love the smell they produce.
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
And thank you very much again for the score of 8 out of 10!! 👏😍❤️
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
Sweet smokes!
