Slurpy_Terpy Kept 3 sour kush Starting 2 in 1L pots and the third in a 15L pot. From the 2x1L pots will transplant to a 4L and a 15L pot for comparison.

Slurpy_Terpy all going well, not much to note for the seedling phase

Slurpy_Terpy Everything going smooth and easy. The seedling and vegetative growth is clearly much slower than I am used to in DWC. Currently 1 sour kush in 15L and 2 sour kush in 1L pots

Slurpy_Terpy Moved to the larger tent, with more space and more ventilation and better light. Will let them get used to it and grow a few more days before flipping to flower. Since its summer (and first living soil grow) I want there to be some space for ventilation so starting flower on the early side and much less plant training than usual.

Slurpy_Terpy first week of flower, all going very well for the sour ripper they are showing all the correct signs. I have 3 phenotypes: - 1 stretchy - 1 short - 1 'normal', like the stretchy but less stretch so far I am glad I have some variation, a friend is growing the 3 remaining sour kush seeds (I had bought a 6 pack) in DWC (hydro) to compare :D It seems like he has 3x the short pheno but not certain yet (he is mainlining them) ==> I am already giving the biotabs pk compost tea boost, brewed following this method: + 1 tbs pk compost / L + 10 ml orgatrex / L ~~BREW 24H~~ + 1 ts mycotrex / 3L ~~BREW 30 minutes~~ + 1 ts bactrex / L So far the plants are loving the pk compost tea! They look healthier after each feed of this tea (1x per week, given 2x so far, first time was 1 week before the switch to 12/12) Since they are not yet focused on flower size/weight and it is recommended to give this tea starting after week 3 (day 21) of flower I only give small doses (0.15-0.3L per plant) and top up with plain water.

Slurpy_Terpy sour kush are doing great! the 4L shorter pheno has less stretch and is elevated by 20cm to have a similar height to the rest. Can't wait till they start smelling!! Tiny bit of light burn on the leaves so I elevated the light by 15cm Update day f21: Did a defoliation on all plants, since they are small and do not take up much space I did only a minor defoliation to expose bud sites to more light and remove the under developed bud sites. Gave some pk compost tea she seems to have responded very well :D

Slurpy_Terpy They reacted well to the defoliation and pk boost compost tea!!! Day 22 they started getting smells, today at day 23 they have a bit more personality! One of the sour kush already has a sour and fruity smell!!! I am very impressed so far! As you can see the harvest will be small, I didn't fill the surface of my tent but also it is summer and to stay safe from mold problems I keep it nice and airy :D
