First Haze Grow

Seedlings appear to have survived the first week. Given only ph'd water so far, however planning to start nutrients at 1/4 to 1/2 strength and build up. Using full Canna Terra nutrient line.

Seedlings slowly growing and starting to push out the second node leaves. Commenced nutrients this week. No issues, GSHC looking a little limp, looks like it could be from a little too much water. Hoping they will start to take off in the next week.

Growth picked up this week with the seedlings starting to push out several nodes, however I'm thinking the cool temperatures here at the moment might be inhibiting faster growth. Waiting now for the plants to grow a few more nodes and be strong enough to top.

Great week with growth increasing in speed each day, everything looking healthy and no issues. Increased water volume and nutrients throughout the week. Topped today with a plan to four way LST once the branches grow and then possibly top again before flipping to flower. Thanks for checking in and have a good week!

Another good week of growth, the plants recovered well from topping and the side branches are reaching out fast. The Cookies in particular really shot up fast overnight and became taller than the other plants, prompting some LST to bring the main stem down. Also starting to peg down and spread the side branches. Planning to let the plants veg for another few days with some LST and then flip to flower in the next couple of days. Was considering another round of topping, however not wanting to slow down growth and adding more time until flowering, decided against it. Having never grown a haze before, I'm hoping to keep them on the smaller side so they're easier to manage to get used to growing the strains...... we'll see how that goes... Another fun week with growth continuing at a nice pace and flipped to flowering on 3/9, the stretch is on. Daily LST has been working well with the canopy spreading out and relatively even. Accidently worked one of the new tops on the CDH a little too much and it had to be removed. Increased the nutrients to be a bit closer to the canna chart and thinking it might be too much, guess I'll find out in the next few days of they're a bit burnt. Things ticking along, continuing with the LST to spread out the canopy to create more tops. Wondering whether I should let them grow vertically now, especially the CDH as there's quite a few tops on her, or keep training more horizontally, being 2 weeks since changing to 12-12. Plants are getting thirsty sooner and found myself watering a day late, by which point they were looking pretty flat, nearly bounced back now a day later. Not much to say, another good and fun week with lots of growth. Lots of tops with flowering underway, while stretching and LST continues. Slowly starting to smell nice. This diary update is a couple days late, so I'll try to catch up next week. Plan now is to keep separating the tops and keeping the canopy growth even. Then maybe going to try some makeshift individual pot scrogs made with some ring flowering frames and gardening trellis, at least for the Cheese Dog Haze as there are a few tops closely bunched together at the moment. Flowering is well underway, however did come across a few male flowers forming on the Lemon Lime Jones, which were removed. I cant find anymore at the moment, but checking for them every couple of days is added to the weekly to do list. Wondering if it is better to get a small tent, which I've already been considering getting for a veg tent, and isolate the LLJ just in case to be safe from seeds in the other plants?? Otherwise, having a great time with these genetics so far, the flowering on the CDH in particular is getting heavy all the way down the branches. The flowers are starting to get resinous, shiny and starting to smell great, lots of lemon/citrus scents so far increasing every day. Last night I put them under the individual scrogs, so they can be taken in and out of the tent easily if needed. Hoping I've done it at the right time, by the look of the flowers expecting another 10cm of stretching. First time i've tried growing with a scrog, so will be a learning experience if nothing else, but hoping to get the best out of these genetics at the same time. Great week with little to report. Smelling more and more as the flowers grow and thicken, stretching up through the scrog screens seemingly ok so far. GSHC sugar leaves getting nice and frosty, all plants sticky. Exciting getting to this stage. And no more pollen sacks on the LLJ so far, good news. Feeding steady every 3-4 days now, with half nutrients for 2 waters and then one PH'd water only. Again, thanks for checking out the diary, have a great week of happy growing.

Hi all, a late and short update. CDH looking great all round with thick flowers. LLJ and GSHC also flowering well, however losing lower leaves and looking nitrogen deficient quite early on. Added some veg nutrients to the mix again and may also have had a PH problem realising the pen is on it's last legs, so have gone back to the old color chart. Starting to smell real nice, like Sprite!? See you in a few days, thanks for checking out the diary.

A long overdue update, apologies for that. Well, things have gone well during flowering and the end is nigh. Watered them for the last time last night and once they're dry I'll give a day or two of darkness and hang them up to dry! Very happy with all three plants. The GSHC is the ripest with amber trichomes at around 15%, the rest mostly cloudy, and have been steadily increasing over the last week. The CDH is a couple of days behind the LLJ, which was surprising as I was expecting the CDH to finish first. Its been a fun grow and if I manage to avoid finding any mould during the drying and trimming, very excited to experience the impending results.
