Quexos 1. This is the Saga of Royal Creamatic. A special shout out to Seedsman for making this grow possible. My beans were intercepted by evil customs agents in Los Angeles. Seedsman was the best! They resent my order in an even more discreet packaging. I couldn't figure out where the seeds were when I opened the package! I thought Customs seized them again!
2. I'm growing in Batch 64 soil this time. The company is out of Colorado. Its a lot less nutrient packed than the Fox Farms soil I used last time. I read that this strain of auto does not like to be overfed, so I thought a more neutral soil would be a better fit.
3. My tent is 3x3x6. I'm running a Blomm 600w LED. I have a 4" Inline Carbon Filter behind the lights. I'm running a humidifier and oscillating fans 24/7.
4. I plan on using Oregon's Finest nutrients this grow. I was able to get a sample pack that has everything I need from seedling to harvest. I only paid shipping costs. It was a great deal! I have seen numerous journals that have had fantastic success with their line, so I'm looking forward to using them. The feeding schedule wants me to start feeding during the seedling stage, but I will wait until the 2nd node is fully formed.
5. This will be my first auto. I chose this strain because the aroma is like caramels! She is supposed to be fairly easy to grow. There aren't many journals for this strain, and most of my info comes from RQS. I know it doesn't like to be overwatered, or overfed. Harvest time is 7-8 weeks. She should stay small, but I saw a video of a 4 Royal Creamatic being harvested. I love surprises!

Quexos 1. Well into her 3rd node this week. There is a great deal of secondary growth.
2. Started training her to grow more horizontally. My goal is to mostly mainline(?) the main stalk so that I can branch out the secondary stalks. I've seen a few more photos of this plant later in the growth cycle and she likes to branch out quite a bit. I think I can keep a nice canopy. I'll keep an eye on her growth. I wouldn't want to stress the little sprout!
3.
Started using nutes this week. I followed the feeding schedule that was given in the sample pack. It seems like a lot of nutes, but I'm watering every 3 days with 2l of filtered water. I will feed on watering day 1 then give plain water for the next 2 waterings. Right now 2l of filtered water will barely cause run off.
4. Since I'm using a nute that is not ph balanced, I am now testing the ph and ppm of my nutrient-rich water. PPM seemed really high. pH was fine. Oregon's Only would like pH of 6.4, but my water is a little alkaline.
5. Finally, I moved her closer to the light. Since she is in full vegetative mode, I'm not worried about the light intensity.

Quexos 1. I'm continuing with LST in order to open as many bud sites as possible. Her main stalk is pretty horizontal.
2. I'm also training out the secondary nodes to create a more even canopy.
3. I am already starting to see pre-flowering pistils growing at the nodes.
4. Current watering schedule is 2l of filtered water with nutes on day 1. I water every third day.
Waterings 2-3 are filtered water only. I am considering increasing the frequency of nutrients to every other watering. But to be honest, she is growing like a champ and I don't see a pressing reason to increase feedings if it is not necessary.
5. I won't have pH or PPM numbers until next feeding. I will update journal at that time.

Quexos 1. Growth is incredible! Its difficult to see due to the LST work I've been doing, but I'm training out almost every day.
2. Light defoliation about every dayish. I take off about 3-5 fan leaves. I will clean up the branches once I've trained them to where I'd like to see the buds.
3. I've double the amount of Herculean Harvest this feeding. It's liquid bone meal. This is per the feeding schedule provided by Nectar of the Gods.
4. I'm a little concerned about the pH of my nutes. I'm measuring at 7.14 and I'm supposed to be around 6.5.
5. I have a new hygrometer. My grow space is at a healthy 34%

Quexos 1. She is definitely in flowering mode. She has doubled in size in the last week, and she is showing definite bud sites.
2. I stopped LST as soon as I noticed the extreme stretch and actual flowers. I've moved a few branches around, but nothing like before. I'm still doing light defol. Hopefully I've cleaned up the sucker branches better than last grow.
3. She has increased her water intake. I'm now watering 2l every other day. My feeding schedule is still feed, water, water.
4. The feeding schedule called for an increase in Athena's Aminas (.5=N), and Zeus Juice, which is a growth enhancer. It also called for an increase in Demeter's Destiny, which is Liquid Calcium. I didn't increase that because our local water is high in calcium.
5. Finally, the smell is starting to pick up. When I open the tent in the morning, there is a lovely smell of herb. I have a feeling I will be using my carbon filter soon.
6. Temp, Humidity, pH, and PPM updated on 6/21.

Quexos 1. Stretch has pretty much stopped. She has only grown .5" since last week.
2. Changed watering schedule to every other day from every third day.
3. Day 1 feeding as per Early Flowering Section of Nectar of the God's Feeding Schedule. I'm still using the lower recommendations for Demeter's Destiny due to local water supply.
4. Day 2-3 Filtered water only. This averages out to 1 feeding per week.
5. There is a peculiar drooping of some of the smaller leaves at the base of the forming buds. I'll have to keep an eye on that.
Quexos 1. She grew half an inch this week and its all BUD!😎
2. Made a few changes to watering/feeding schedule. Day 1 feed, day 3 filtered water, day 5 filtered water to flush. Secondly, I started adding Bloom Khaos to the nutrient list. I was supposed to be using it all along, spraying it on the leaves once a week, but I kept forgetting. Better late than never I figure.
3. I've been trying to manicure larger leaves every few days. I average around 20 leaves or so each haircut. That should really slow down soon.
4. Smell is starting to pick up. It's an odd smell. 👌 A bit like soap and candy.

Quexos 1. She is just chugging along to her inevitable doom!😈 .5 inch growth this week. She is stacking on the bud weight and size. Buds are solid and very frosty.
2. Feeding schedule is on Nectar's Late Flowering Schedule. Based on my projections, I will follow the late flowering schedule for this week and next, then start flushing for the last two weeks.
3. She has mostly clear trichomes. She has stopped producing leaves. I trim away the larger leaves to help promote bud growth.
4. According to RQS, this strain will finish in 65-70 days. I think I'll be going 7-10 days longer due to amount of LST I used.
Quexos 1. I started my flushing routine today. I was going to feed one last time using the Late Flowering Schedule, but the trichomes are looking a bit milky. I'm not worried about missing one feeding. There should be enough residual nutrients in the soil and plant to sustain it for the next few weeks. I'm basically going to harvest in 2 weeks instead of 3.
2. Trichomes have really started to change from clear to milky. She is finishing faster than I expected. I included a close up photo. Hopefully they show what I was seeing through the loupe.
3. Otherwise she is business as usual.

Quexos 1. This might be the final week before harvest. I'm feeding flushing nutes on my weekly nutrient supplement.
2. I've decreased watering. I'm watering on every 4th day instead of every 3rd day. I'm hoping the increased stress might help resin production. Also, its the monsoon season here and the humidity levels are a lot higher.
3. I really like the smell! It is subtle, but it has a creamy, flowery aroma. It smells a little like buying soap at the farmer's market, but in a good way.
Everything went exactly as advertised. Nice job RQS! Strain grew without any problems.
Buds developed nicely. They were very frosty by the time I harvested. Initial harvest was low, but that could be due to LST, or the strain. This is my first auto, so I didn't know what to expect. I saved about 4-5 weeks by growing an auto, but I ended up with about 2/3 as much.
First smoke impression was fantastic. I noticed no harshness, even though I have only started curing. Buds are sticky and flavorful.
I really like the speed of growing autos, but I'll reserve judgement until I have a few more grows harvested.
Quexos RQS has produced a very vigorous autoflower strain. The seed germinated in 24hrs. 2 days later she was breaking the surface. There were never any defeciencies, or problems assocciated with this grow.
I did use LST quite extensively. I think that might've had a negative effect on my overall yield. I still have another seed left to grow. I will allow that one to grow naturally and see if there is any difference.
I'm also interested in seeing the results of some of the other Royal Creamatic grows finishing up on Grow Diaries.
@StonedWolf, Its the grow light I'm afraid. I think last week's pictures were taken outside of the tent. She is palish green with frosty, frosty buds. A little leafy imo, but that is probably the strain.
@bobo420, Again thanks! The yield was small, and there were only a few large buds, but it smells wonderful, and it it tastes like its been curing for months. All in all, I'm pretty happy.
Excellent training! I have been refining the 90-degree technique for five or six harvests now.
You will probably note that the base of your secondary stems, their first nodes -- those will grow out to be sucker branches, yield little, and cost a lot of energy. They will also crowd the other branches enough that those will yield less and they will really be in the way.
Hard to plan for now, but keep it in mind. Also any of the nodes that are vertical, the bottom ones have to grow real long to get around which turns them into suckers and the top ones will shade and block air so bad they're not worth it.
I have cut many incorrect baby nodes off before finally figuring out which ones I need to keep for maximum yield. When I don't goof it, that is -- the LST will take the branches around in a twisting motion, causing the nodes' final orientation to be different.
If you're careful you can get those bottom branches to reach the other side of the pot and really spread things out. Also, if the top of the plant runs over the side of the pot, you can always use a pipe cleaner to "ponytail" the top leaves shut 12+ hours a day. this will cause all the growth to go into the branches.
@Jaindoh, Good advice! I kinda saw that on my last grow. Some nodes just didn't mature. I'm noticing the same characteristics in this grow. I guess I will have to get up the nerve to trim them off.
I planted the seed off center so that I could train the main stalk horizontally. That is helping me LST the other nodes like legs on an insect! My real criticism of this technique is the lack of working space near the soil. I train so horizontal, so soon that I don't have a lot of room to work.
I'll LST the nodes out as far as I can, but you can already see that she's doing her preflower thing. I will only have a little more time before I have to stop.
@fayabed, She has been very easy to grow so far. Since she is already preflowering, I'm using her stretch to my advantage when doing LST. I hope I don't go overboard though and shock her.
@MissFlowerPower420, Thanks! I can't hardly wait to have a taste. I will definitely be smoking up a little popcorn bud once she is in her dark period next week.
Looking good bro I’m a couple weeks behind you right now on my autos hopefully they chunk up like this girl! See you in the grow contest next month eh??
@TreeTent310, Thanks! I'm projecting harvest around the last week of July or the first week of August. I guess I'd put this grow in for the August Grow Diary.
I'm not sure how I feel about this grow. This is my first auto, and I think I should keep my hands off the autos. I might've stunted her growth by tying her down so much in the beginning. There is another grow on the diaries that is around the same age and strain as mine. He just let it grow, and we have completely different plants. I'll have to compare the two once they have both been harvested.
@bobo420, Thanks! She is starting to look strangely like my last grow. Bud formation is a little different, but the structure of the plant is really similar. I think it was my training methods.
Looking good man, She really shot up a lot in the last week. It's amazing how much growth can happen in just a day. I'm just catching up on your grow and read about the customs seizure. totally sucks, but good to hear Seedsman has your back. FYI, Mephisto Genetics now has distribution out of Colorado.
@TheOutlawBubbaKush, I happen to live close to Colorado! Good to know. I'll get on Mephisto's website and see if I can get any information. Colorado is really big on selling their own strains. There are several breeders near Denver. I've seen some interesting strains, but no autoflowers yet.
Yeah, two weeks ago I posted for the week, I woke up the next morning and my girl had doubled in height. She has grown another 3-4 inches since then!
Patience is the key bro plus I had a look at your tent man nice set up but yea I'd fill her up!! If you don't mind handwatering a few more girls that is like I do!! I'd put four in there
@Ricks, 4???!!! Lol, yeah I could do that. None of the grows I've seen that are like yours seem to have any problems. I was really worried about crowding the plants. I don't worry about watering.
I have to hand water everything, but I'm retired so I have plenty of time.
@Quexos, for an auto a bit long, but i have learned the hard way that autos are able to stretch their vegetative period quite some time when needed. but normally start to flower in 2 or 3 weeks. It's just 1 week longer, i hope the buds get bigger too :)
@Smokwiri, I remember worrying about the size of the buds on my first grow. Now I'll just sit back and let her do her thing. There are a few grow diaries that show this strain, and she seems to be developing along the same lines. I get the added benefit of a lot of secondary bud sites due to LST.
Another question i have to ask is why do i see people making their plants grow super short i always wondered is it a space thing or does it oroduce better quality tight buds?
@Quexos, lmfao i know im the same way the autoflower im doing is literally the first plant i let grow naturally because i didnt wanna mess anything up but its looking like its producing nicely but next time im gunna fiddle with my autoflower and see what it can do
@Nomad, Severe LST worked really well for my last grow, so I thought I'd give it a try on an autoflower. I've read that some strains do not like that much handling. I don't know if that is the case with this strain. She seems to be a little behind in flowering, but her vegetative growth is great. I will leave her alone as soon as preflowering ends and I start to see some actual flowers.
I was training about every day, but now I'm leaving her alone a lot more. I'm training out a little bit to allow bud sites to get some light, but otherwise no more serious training.
86o F, at 10%RH sounds like a fruit dehydrator, friend. Even Phoenix and Vegas are about 25 on average. Hopefully your reading is off. She wants it more humid!
Best wishes for a great harvest
@growdoctordc, I think my RH readings are off. We had rain on Sunday and my phone said the humidity was 46%, but the gauge said 10%. It was pouring outside most of the afternoon! There was no way it was only 10%! It normally reads 10% all the time, despite a swamp cooler running in the house, and a humidifier running 24/7 in the grow tent! I haven't noticed any ill effects and this is my 2nd grow with the 10% meter. I probably should buy another one though so I have better growing data.
@Quexos,
There is a perfect method to counter either low or high humidity long term, and it works because cannabis is so damn adaptable. But you must start with regular seeds because you will need a male’s pollen.
Cannabis exhibits what botanists call relocalization, which means a hybrid will express more sativa or indica traits as needed to meet environmental demands. And it will do that in only one generation, if you can get them to grow to maturity. In essence, you’d be creating your own personal landrace. Pretty cool, huh
@growdoctordc,That is pretty cool! I'm sure that is true with most plants that can adapt to a wide range of climates. I wouldn't be surprised it there are a few old school growers in my area that have done just that! It probably wouldn't take many generations to produce seeds that are acclimated to a particular climate.
However, for my practical purposes, I think buying a new RH% gauge might be the way to go. I even took out the batteries to reset it after reading your post. Zero change in humidity readings.
seedsman is truly world class customer service. i always opt for extra stealth option, may cost a lil more upfront but ive never had a pack seized also livin in southern california. (sd). gl, royal queen seeds are bomb. checkout the fox farmer on here, he grows lots of their stuff, rocks it!
@Jack_Greenstalk, I ordered the extra stealth. That was the only reason they resent the seeds I would suppose. I'd bet that I could order from Seedsman for the next 10 years and probably not have another shipment seized.
I'll look at Fox Farmer. Thanks for the heads up!
@Nomad, I'm just looking to spread the plant out so I can get some of those secondary nodes exposed to the light. She doesn't seem to mind. Some autos really don't like bondage. I can't imagine why!😈
How do you like the nutrients youre using? Im finding now that i believe it or not saw better growth using advanced nutrients rather than humboldt nutrients line.
@Nomad, Its hard to tell so far. I have only fed a few times. Autoflowers really mature fast and feeding about once a week messes with the feeding schedule. I've only actually fed her 3 times since seed.
I did like AN a lot. Their pH perfect line really made feeding kinda brainless. I did notice some nutrient overload towards the end of flowering, but that was my fault for pushing the nutes hard.
I think to make an accurate comparison, I would have to grow a photo and use the Humboldt line.
AN was also easier to work with. Humboldt products are a little messy!
@Quexos,seriously someof the humboldt products are like syrup lmao gets a lil sticky. AN definetly made feeding super easy and thats what i liked about it.
One of my girls “Sheila “ is not as large as it was last time, but the buds are like rocks- so kind of a toss up. I try to make 1 thing every harevest, having the smoke is a must but there are so many things these plants can do- we need to explore. I am going to make a tincture out of “Chelsea “ since she is a CBD girl, and with “Sheila “ gonna make moon rocks🌚🌚🌚🏻
@ChefDan420, I was reading your comments. Next thing you know, you will be telling me you are building sustainable housing out of the stalks after harvest!
Leafly just had an article about making salves and lotions. I might look into that as well. I like your idea of gummies though. They looked really easy to make. I guess I need to do some reading.
I have some Blue Dream CBD seeds that would be perfect for these kinds of things! Next grow!
This looks nice. I think its a good idea to train autos to an extend. I have my blueberry 420 auto and it will not produce more than 15 gram and i did not train it. still have 4 seeds of it so i will compare with training later. And i guess it depends on strain as well.
@PureMedicin, I trained this plant to increase the bud sites. I think I stunted it a bit. Some strains really like to be handled, others want to be left alone.
Blazeit420 is growing the same strain, and its the same age. They fundamentally have the same structure, but his yield is going to be double I think.
I have 1 seed of this strain left. I'll try it again in the fall, and just let her go nuts. That is the only way to know.
