P1 has shown considerable development over the past week with new growth developing at a increased rate. P1 was subjected to 2-3 selective defoliations; the first being used to remove any useless lower foliage that wouldn’t develop into desired cola sites, the second was used to remove any fan leaves that aren’t attached to a top to limit wasted energy on non cola related growth. And the third was used to expose any top not in direct light to promote development. With daily LST adjustments P1’s canopy has been reshaped into an even circular structure which will be able to bear weight of stacking colas.
P2 over the past week has continued to develop at a steady rate. P2 also underwent the same separate selective defoliations to improve the plants overall health and improve the plants yield. LST has been readjusted daily to reshape the canopy to allow for a strong weight bearing structure. P2 was left with a underdeveloped tops to hopefully allow them to develop and add more cola sites.
P3 continues to be the most unique phenotype of the grow as no lower foliage or canopy has developed over the course of the grow. Negating the use of a full defoliation, as such P3 underwent a very light defoliation trimming to remove any energy wasting foliage that could be a detriment the developing colas.
Being the first week of flower all plants have been put on flowering nutrients to allow the plants to prioritise cola development and bud stacking.
Amazing grow! Really good job dude! I wish you the best results with the most delicious buds!
Nice to see your journals! I will drop by some times to check your progress!
Feel free to come by and say hello!
Happy growing 🥦🤩
