Just started 20 Grape lime Ricky seeds hoping to find a really tasty and potent pheno....don't care about yield just quality.
This is for my personal licensed medical grow.
Week 2 after germination... only 14 out of 20 seeds popped.
These were by far tge smallest seeds I've ever germinated (so small.i thought they might be premature).
I usually have about 90-95% success with seeds so this was a bit disappointing.
I've started feeding clonex solution at 20ml per litre before they get transplanted to 1 gallon pots in a mix of 50% super soil and 50% sunshine mix.
Is it possible to keep male plants in veg in the same veg room as females without problems with producing seeds?
I have a Scarlet Queen male and a Grape Lime Ricky male I'd like to keep for future breeding but would they produce pollen while in vegetative growth (18 hours light)?
The vigorous plants have been moved to 2 gallon pots in super soil.
The less vigorous are still in 1 gallon pots.
The vigorous plants are VERY fast to grow in veg.
The slower plants were still one gallon pots I super soil and under a 100w led in a mini clone tent and I think that was too bright for them abd they didn't have quite enough food in the supersoil in a single gallon pot....
I can see signs of leaf yellowing in all of them so I have moved them.back under fluorescent light abd upgraded them to 2 gallon pots.
The faster growing plants have been doing just fine and are still in 2 gallon pots.
All of the slower growing phenos which are all the shorter bushy plants have completely recovered after being put in slightly larger pots and less intense light....
It looks 2 of the fast growing plants (Grape Lime Ricky # 4 & 6) appear to be males and will be culled or gifted to a friend if they want them.
Everything is looking great so far!
Do you eventually have to clone mother plants?
Like eventually even if you kept a mother in vegetative growth in like 20gal pot at some point after a long time it would become root bound and need to.be repotted or cloned?
I just wanted to add, I knew some growers in the 90's who cloned a bubblegum pheno for years without degrading, that shit was always the best in town even after being cloned over and over.
Explosive growth this week after upgraded the plants to 4 gallon pots with Supersoil.
I actually have Grape lime Ricky #1 in week 3 of flower because I popped 1 pack of seeds before I decided to do this journal and started the journal when I popped all my remaining Grape lime Ricky's.
The Grape lime ricky #1 looks awesome and stretched a little bit after 3 weeks of flower....it went into flower when the tops were at the top of the tomato cage.
The rest of the plants will continue to veg until my black domina's are finished which should be about 3 more weeks.
Everything is looking beautiful so far!!!

My black domina's are coming down next weekend which will make room for the rest of the Grape lime Ricky's.
Grape lime Ricky #1 is looking like an absolute beast!!
The bud in front of the Grape Lime Ricky #1 is a small clone of Grape Lime Ricky #1 that's looking nearly done....absolutely huge rock solid nugs for a clone ....it has a soft lemon lime scent so far!
Well....I actually had to cut down my huge Grape lime ricky #1 because it was just getting too big for my grow area but I had a clone of it I put straight into flower from being rooted and the clone was ready to come down today so I just chopped both down to make room...I will re-do GLR #1 next run and make sure I flower her when she's much shorter.
I've put 5 Grape Lime Ricky's into flower and have taken cuttings of each ...the other 5 will go into flower in 2 weeks.
GLR#1 (The one flowered from clone). Made some gorgeous rock solid Sugary nugs with beautiful purple hues that look absolutely stunning but not much smell in terms of Citrus or Grape....we'll see how she cures but I'm not betting on GLR #1 being the keeper...
Eveything except for 1 Grape lime Ricky is in flower and its still pretty small....and I'm just waiting for a Scarlet queen and and white widow to finish up and then I'll have room for it as well....everything is looking gorgeous so far.
Everything is starting to Bud up in a major way!
No problems to report at all....there are some lovely lemon lime,Citrus smells on a few plants and already some nice trichome production by week 3 of flower.
The last Grape lime Ricky is still vegging for at least 1 more week.
Looking awesome and buds are starting to swell up with some very Berry and Citrus smells and exellent trichome production!
No problems to report whatsoever!
Can't wait for these gals to finish up and see what the final results will be!

What a week!!!
So far GLR #8 & #12
have an absolutely intoxicating Lemon lime candy aroma that's not quite like any other lemon or Citrus varieties I've ever smelled....
It's strong Lemon lime candy with a hard to exactly pinpoint creaminess ....I don't know how to describe the creamy aspect...it's not exactly cream or ice cream but it's like Lemon lime candy infused with something deliciously creamy that I can't quite put my finger on!
I expect the terpene profile to become more complex as the finish up.
#8&12 so far have the strongest terpene profile.
#9 makes the most trichomes so far and there is a mixture of light Berry and Citrus fragrance on the rest if the plants....only 8 &12 have a really LOUD smell so far....
Grape Lime Ricky #9 got chopped down last night as it was almost done (very early finisher) and hardly produced anything except trichomes....not much smell either just a slight Berry aroma but definitely not a keeper!
GLR #3 came down tonight!
Not a big yielder at all but it made extremely sugary rock solid nugs with a skunky & berry aroma.
The structure reminds me at lot of the Girl Scout Cookies strain.
I think the rest will be ready in about 2 weeks.
GLR #5 looks like it will be huge yielder!!!
