Peyote Cookies really taking off in 7 gal fabric pot. just had to watch the watering and not flood her. Other plants were transplanted to 4" pots to see wich does better. 7 gal so far as long as she's not given to much water.
really filling out the tent now and starting to remove everything below screen slowly day by day. plants have filled screen since there are 5 in a 4x4 foot tent. blueberry is bottom left, peyote cookies is in the middle trained through the screen around the 4 smaller indica plants. The other outside 3 are all Kushy Kush. top right is really taking off. top left kushy seems to be smaller then the other 2 kushy but it grew difrent than the other 2 rite from the start...2 diffrent sides of the strain I guess... we will see. peyote cookies has been a monster from day 1 and would prob fill my tent alone with a few more weeks veg on her! amazing plant, bit finicky with the 1000w MH but seems to love the 1000w Hps since the change over 2 weeks ago. all and all they are exploding in the tent and looking very healthy!!!!
Beginning of week 4 in flowering and everything is coming along quite nicely. plants are loving there Remo nutes! just switched this tent over to a self watering drip system cause it was getting to be a real pain watering these girls by hand. Their siting in 7 gallon fabric pots and boy do they drink a mad amount of water/nutes! the pots are just packed with roots! really loving the Remo lineup of nutes so far! go Remo! Go Sports! Buds are starting to form nicely! Started to open up the bud sites a bit by tucking what i could but had to snip a few leaves up top to open a few lower sites up trying to get through.
This week they realy started to grow some buds! Blueberry by canuk seeds is really impressing me! girl is not even half way through and already massive buds comming!
Everythings really blowing up now!started flushing the kushy kush and the payote cookies this week and should be pulling them within the next 2 weeks both, the blueberry will be anouther month still and it is amazing how big her buds are already!
Pulled the first Kushy Kush at day 47 of flowering. there are 3 kushy kush in total so we are seeing the outcome of the strain at different points of harvest. it is a 42 day strain according to the breeder. first one at 47 days was still a little early, doesn't have much of a smell or taste but when smoked is still very potent. deffinatly a good night time smoke or after work type thing. relaxes your body and puts your head in a spaced out trance.... it is still curing and is starting to smell a bit more now a week after being jarred. ***second plant was harvested at day 53 in flowering and was much more crystal covered then the first one. was a fluffy bud do to the fact it was a tucked in the back corner and received the least amount of light do to the fact we were growing multiple strains in the tent and some streched more. but the bud is much more potent and smells/tastes much more prunonced. ****pulled the 3rd plant at 59 days and defiantly worth the wait. much tighter and good yield. taste is super kushy now and very potent buds.
Overall Kushy Kush is a very nice plant to grow. stays short and if topped and 4-way LST'd it produces some giant buds in a very short period of time. the stocks are massive and it is a very resilant plant that can take whatever you throw at it, with very high THC counts at 20% when harvested at peak tricomb production it's deffinatly one strain to grow a lot of potent bud very quick!
Harvested the Peyote Cookies at day 53 into flower. very sticky and pungent skunky/deisel aroma when clipping, just the stickyest of sticky.. Once dried smelled very pungent/skunky/deisel and tasted very earthy and smooth. cured for a few days now and already it is some very potent bud. smells of very pungent, skunky/deisel. It's high creaps up on you, first giving you a nice body buzz then works it's way into your mind and gives you a nice mind haze.. giggly even... it's a whole body/mind buzz that demands food....lol just an amazing strain, one of the best I've grown and smoked hands down
Overall this is one of my favorite strains so far. Decent yield and amazing high. was a bit more touchy with the light and nutes but very easy and fast growing plant that produces A
bud. will be doing a proper scrog with it in the future I think.
Blueberry is the only girl left so we have her directly under the light almost with the new crop already in there around her starting there flower. she is starting to get a very blue hue to her and smells very much like fresh blueberries if you touch the buds. she's growing massive buds too! been flushing her now for about a week and a half and plan on pulling her in about a week or so hopefully. tricoms are all cloudy and starting to turn amber in a few spots.
Overall and amazing plant that grows vigorously and produces amazing top shelf buds that your buddy's will be drooling over....mine do anyway.. lol tastes like advertised.... blueberry.... buds even have a blue hue color in the last few weeks of flowering. would defiantly recommend this strain to fellow growers new and old.
Outstanding!!! I wish i had a harvest like this!!!! I had 4 harvests. The first outdoor a shame (regular seeds i found in the weed) ! The second indoor 17g each with cfl 350w, total 34g - regular seeds i found in the weed. The third 9 plants auto rqs northern lights and quickone = 100g. Still bad. Lets see the next!!! Now leds. Ive got a question for u: have u ever used leds? Anyway, congratulations, u ve got green finger!!
@Starfox, ya I got a few other tents set up around and I run LED in my smaller tents. Mainly use them for veg and seedlings. I find I get a way bushier and all around healthier plant under LED vegging for sure. Then I move them to my larger tents for flowering. I took the summer off this year so I could travel around a bit and not worry, so I’m just Getting my rotations back on schedule. I try to run 2 x 4x8 tents for flower and off set them buy 1.5months. Then I have 2 smaller tents that I veg in for the first 1.5 months. This way I’m harvesting a 4x8 tent every 1.5 months...ish. But I have a medical card that allows me 15 plants, so naturally I went big plants in big tents...lol best bang for my buck per plant. Lol I always rotate my strains I grow and try new ones, so flowering times are not always in stone. Lol As for your harvests, you will get there. I’ve been doing this since I was 17, now I’m 39.... my first harvest where exactly like yours. lol It all comes with time and experience.
