This fast flowering photoperiod strain is perfect for new growers and growers in the north where the summer is short and the cold sets in early October. The plants are resistant to light stress and to disease. I started this plant indoors in March. I hardened them off and put her outside in late April under a plastic shelter to protect her from the cold. The thing I didn't account for was the fact that in April the days are still very short in Ontario. The result was that the plants in my garden all went into flowering!! I had no idea that it could happen, and it took me a while to figure out the source of the problem. They were hardened off and brought out of 18 hrs of light, and put into the garden when the days were still too short. She tolerated the cold, and even a dusting of snow... but there just wasn't enough sunlight. So by mid May she had flipped to flowering! I was so disappointed, and I thought my grow was going to be a total write off. You'll notice I missed a few weeks in this diary during this period because I was sure the grow was done for. Rather than rip the plants out, I decided to just sit back and watch to see what would happen. And then, as the days got longer the plants went back into veg... by the time the summer solstice rolled in, the plants were starting to shoot up new growth... but the leaves were all single blades until they started to stretch for flowering. This is when I started the photo diary back up. In the end this plant offered a bazillion smaller flower growing up each cola in a tight helix. As you can see it was a good yield. We did find a LOT of seeds, but considering the light stress, and the fact that there is at least one neighbour in my area that leaves his male plants to grow (he's a total idiot IMH thinking he's 'breeding' in an uncontrolled outdoor environment) the seeds don't come as a huge surprise to me. I'm also not really concerned... whatever. I'm just glad that my plant survived LOL. Bottom line, I highly recommend these genetics... Smoke report: We have got these buds in the cure so its kinds of hard to do a proper smoke report, but early signs point to a solid hybrid, with a nice heady high mixed with increased focus. The buds taste like delicious lemonade... The munchies are strong with this one... so vape or smoke it BEFORE supper... and your meal will taste absolutely delicious... whatever you make or how much you overcook it LOL. This variety is a solid choice. No surprise there... Its Crop King Seeds after all. They are one of my favourite seed companies.

I use this for veg every time. Solid product. Reliable results.
This was my first time using this product, and it seemed to work well. I certainly didn't do any harm :) I cant say for sure that it helped all that much, but I wasn't scientific about it. Ill keep using it. I need more data and grow results to say for sure.

You could also try fermenting milk to create Lactic Acid Bacteria which are why milk works for powdery mildew and mould. U of Hawaii has info pages about how to do it as part of KNF. Iโ€™ve had some small bits of mould but itโ€™s mostly under control so I think it helps a lot.

@Northern_Ent, yes! so the deal is that we spray on the milk on a hot summer sunny day... and the lactose and milk protein work their magic. The fermentation takes place once it's on the plant :) So far it's working really well. The leaves went from powdery and grey, to shiny and green. Today it's raining to wash the milk off. I'll evaluate tomorrow when the sun comes out. I'll re-apply the spray on any remaining mildew. Apparently it can take two applications three days apart to see the best results. And they recommend rain in between. I got lucky that the weather is 100% cooperating... sunny and hot... then rain... then more sun and heat in the forecast :-)

I had that last year, mildew all over on my automatics.just because my garden was to filled . Thsi year i cut off everything what is hundering the airflow. and luckyly no mildew crossing fingers for your crop

@Mrs_Larimar, Yes... I knew this was a risk due to crowding of big plants an a sheltered part of the garden where there is little air movement. I put in 2 fewer plants than last year... but instead of having more space the plants just grew *BIGGER* LOL... I'll have to do better next year. I'm not really complaining... I'm getting the same size of canopy with two fewer seeds, so that's a good efficiency. The milk treatment seems to be working! The leaves are nice and shiny today... we put on the milk on a hot summer sunny day. And then two days later it is raining to wash most of it off. In a couple of days I'll treat the plants again to treat the leftover mildew. I'm feeling optimistic.

Good job. Did you notice this is the biggest yield so far for any Crop King diaries? The two listed ahead of you have oz/g unit errors. Congrats.
