This is my first plant so excited to see how the result in some weeks/months. So far its looking good. Taking her out for feeding once a day, making sure that the water runs through so there wont be any build up of nutrients, and did water only on Saturday. Having a bit problem getting the humidity higher without getting the temp up. Probably gonna need to add a second fan in the tent as well. Tried shutting off my exhaust fan, but it became a bakers oven in my small tent. -Opened the front of the tent and and got the temperature down to 23-25 degrees.. Humidity is still a bit low, but the mist of the humidifier brushing over the plant, so that should be good. Let her dry on day6, and added a bit of CalMag on d7.

Been a bit to eager on the water, so let her dry out a bit more between watering. Was afraid i might have given her a bit to much nutes as well, so she got water from day 11. Had to go away for a few days so no picture from day 14.

Anyone have an idea if the plant has been to eagerly watered? The photo was taken from the same day, 5 hours apart. Plant didnt get any water yesterday so thought it might be time and the coco seemed dry, but she has been drooping since. Should i lay of a couple of days?

Depends when was it taken if this was taken when the lights have just gone on then no its just the plant opening up its stomatas to collect moisture from the air or anything else you give it thats why you should use foliar sprays just before the lights go off. If this is while the lights are on though yes this is defo an over water :) Nothing that a few days left wont fix though to stop this happening in the future I would advise only watering around the base of the plant and not saturating the whole medium she is not that large shes does not need much at this stage though I will say other than the slight overwatering that is one happy healthy plant well done sir !

Day 16 - 11/9 Was away for a few days and she got a to little water when I was away and was quite dry. Were also a bit high temps so think she got a bit of a heat shock. The bottom two leaves have yellowed which I'm not happy with, and the tip cracked up on one of the leaves. The yellowing might also be from a bit of nutrition deficiency since she only got water for the past 4 days. Trying to salvage the situation and saturated her good. Gonna keep a close eye on her the next couple of days and hope she bounces back. Decided to raise the light a bit since i think she might have gotten a bit to hot and give her better conditions. The nodes seems to be starting to sprout out well tho. Gonna let her be for a couple of days and consider transplating to a bigger container and do some light LST. Day 18 - 13/09. Seems like she is having a bit of nutrient deficiency. The lower leaves have turned more yellowish, Going to go from 1/2 dose to 1 dose for the next watering and and up the cal mag a bit to see if that sorts it out. She really didnt enjoy getting to dry during the weekend. I am planning to trim the lowest leaves since they arn't getting that much light anyways, but as I see the next set of leaves have become a bit pale as well, i hope that will be sorted out first. Just got my PH-meter as well, so going to make sure that the PH is correct going forward. pH-Perfect series was doing fine until i gave her a few days with only tap water, which has a PH around 7.5. Day 19 - Upped the nutes to 3ml/Liter and removed the bottom two leaves that did nothing anymore. Day 20 - 15.09, She seems to look a bit better after i upped the nutes. Still slightly yellow but will probably take a few days to see the result. Have been planning on transplanting her, and got my new coco mix today. Mixed it out with perlite and gave Betty more room to live in. She's now in a 3 gallon pot which will be her last pot as I dont have that much space to work with. When taking her out of the pot, I see that her roots were starting to fill out, so could probably have done this some days ago. Hopefully she will thrive with more room to grow. Watered after the transplant with 2ml/l nutes right after and adjusted light height is about 60cm now. Will let her rest a few days and get settled in. Day 21 - Transplanting to a bigger pot went well. She hangs a bit right before lights out, but perks up thill the next morning

Day 22 - Just let her be today. Trying not to overwater so giving her water every other day in her bigger pot until she grows a bit more. Day 23 - She's growing nicely. Decided to top her above the 5th node today. She just hit about 18 cm height before topping Day 24 - Did some LST and trimmed a few fan leaves No pics for the last two days of the week, but she has been growing nicely after topping and some defoliation. After some input I will not remove any more leaves unless it is necessary.

Hi! Is it fine to remove the upper fan leaves on this plant as well or should I wait thill the side branches get bigger leaves? I removed the lowers leaves after LST so nothing touches the soil, but some of them are blocking a bit light for the new growth. Thanks!

I would strongly advise against removing any leaves from a plant that size, she needs every leaf she has to be making the energy she needs to grow. The new growths are relying on those leaves to make the energy they need to be able to grow! I am very anti defoliation - if the plant would not need those leaves, it would not grow them in the first place! At this size/age, even one fan leaf is a large percentage of "energy making ability", so removing any will slow growth due to the lack of energy making potential. Your plant will grow its biggest and fastest with all of its leaves left on the plant, to make energy for that growth. Just remember - Less leaves = less energy = less growth. It is that simple! Your plant has evolved into a finely tuned growing machine based on efficiency. Removal of leaves is not part of your plants' plans. Try and only remove yellow leaves, for by the time they are yellow, they have served their purpose. In the mean time, try leaving every green leaf she has, to make the energy she needs to grow her biggest and fastest. Hope this helps, Organoman.

24.09 Day 29 - She's filling out and become quite dense. LSTing to try to spread out the branches. About 22cm tall now. Giving her about 2 liters og water every other day to get some run through, but think i might need to start watering every day soon. The pot feels light a lot faster now a days. 27.09 Day 32 - Set up a trellis net and started to scrog her and even out the height. Trying to tuck in the bigger fan leaves to expose the lower growth to light. Noticing there are a few yellow spots here and there on some of the leaves. Will keep an eye out for more of those 28.09 Day 33 - Nothing much happening, just tucking the fan leaves i can to expose the lower branches

Day 36 - 01.10 - Nothing much happening. just tucking in the leaves and spreading her out Day 37 - 02.10 - Took her out to fix some stuff in the tent and got a better view of her. She's becoming thicker and looking good. Lower branches are catching up to the top ones. Trying to tuck the fan leaves so they get more light and grow thicker. Noticed that there might be a bit of nutrition-burn, so gonna cut down a little on the nutes. been going 4ml/l the last week when i watered her. Some yellowing on the tip of the leaves here and there. Day 39 - 04.10 She's become quite dense now. Need Pot feels light every day so she's drinking a lot. Needs about 2l per day to saturate the coco coir. Have been going one day with only PH'ed water and other day with nutes. just shy of 4ml/l. Day 41 - 06.10 Find it hard to get below the scrog to water her and noticed a yellow leaf or two hidden away under the canopy. Decided to remove some of the leaves closest to the entrance of the tent to get better access. She is ready for flowering, but need to wait until Sunday since i will be occupied the rest of the week, and want to track her progress and water needs once i start flower.

08.10 - Day 42 - She's a bit over 40 cm now. putting her to flower during the next days. 10.10 - Day 45 - Switched the light schedule to 12/12 and started flowering her. Feeling the weight of the pot to manage watering to make sure she doesn't go dry. 12.10 - Day 47 - She's grown about 20 cm since Friday. Hoping she doesnt get to high since I've got limited height in the tent. Just hit about 60 cm. Added the second scrog net a bit above the canopy to prepare some support. I've been plucking some of the lower leaves that had yellowed and more or less fell of by them self. I had to remove a handfull of the bigger lower fan leaves as well to get access to the pot without having to bend and tuck all the time. It's quite dense there. Poor light penetration in the lower parts.

17.10 Day 52 - Flower Day 7 - Have been watering her every other day with 4ml/l nutes. She's been growing nicely but now I'm afraid the height in the tent will be an issue. At the moment there's only 15-ish cm from top node to the grow light. Have to try to get the light higher, but not much to work with. 21.10 Day 56 - Flower Day 11 - I put the grow light as high up as possible in the tent but its still a bit to close to the top, so now I there's nothing more to do than to water and wait. Some of the lower leaves are falling of by them self so just clearing those out when I check in on her. Continuing to feed her nutes every other day and give her water on the other days when the weight of the pot gets light.

I've got several lower branches that aren't stretching high enough to get any good light, at what point during flower is it ok to get out the scissors? I think I might need to do a lil leaf trimming in the lower canopy as well. Could/should this be done at the same time? Thanks

Hello My friend first of all completely ignore what the grower below me has said if you look at his profile he has harldy any likes and diaries nor any sponsers hes just trying to feed people bs to win the seeds anyway. let me give you some proper advice. My advice no not in the first few weeks of flower when she hits 20 days and you start to see bud sites then yes go ahead chop as much as you want off but in the first few weeks of flower is a very delicate time for a plant making the transition so wait until she hits 3 weeks and then cut off all the under growth that will be the best option for you my friend :) Best of luck :)

24.10 Day 59 - Flower Day 14 - She's getting to tall for the tent now. I had to tie down a couple of the highest branches. Tent is only 160cm high and with the pot she just passed 140 cm. A few of the top sites nearest to the light was max 10 cm away and some of the leaves got heat-burned. I'll just continue to bend and try to get some distance to the highest branches. 25.10 Day 60 - Flower Day 15 - Tied and moved a couple of branches closer to the tent wall since they are higher than my light. she's gotta stop growing, or i dont know what to do 26.10 Day 61 - Flower Day 16 - Had to remove some of the bigger fan leaves near the lamp. They got burnt from the heat and light. I've tried to tie some more branches closer to the wall, but its not ideal. Considering an alternative solution, but got to figure out if it will stress the plant more than necessary,

29.10 - Day 64 Flower 19 - Trimmed the lower part of the plant and removed smal branches and leaves that weren't going to become anything. Also removed a couple of leaves that was clearly in the way 4.11 - Day 70 Flower 25 - So Betty has outgrown the tent. She has grown higher than the light, and I do not have any room to move it. I did have to replace my old light reflector with a cool-tube so that the plant wont touch the lamp, and get light to the higher colas. Opted to not add the reflectors that was included since the some of the colas are to high. A couple of the middle colas has been to close to the light and gotten really badly burnt. Hopefully the cool tube will help, so i dont get heat burns on other colas, Cant really do much with light burn. The tube is still a bit hot, gonna see if i can get a small fan to blow through it, that might help a bit, but if not, I dunno. I've removed some of the fan leaves that were blocking for the lower growth as well. Other than that, it seems like the nodes that haven't been to close to the light is doing fine.

Plant stopped growing in height. Feeding her with nutes every other day still and PH'ed water on the other days if needed. Noticing some burned tips on some of some of the big fan-leaves so cut down to 3ml/l. Kinda hard to get any good pictures because plant is so high i really cant get any distance to camera. From distance growth looks the same, but buds seem to be developing nicely.

29.11 - Day 96 - Flower day 51: Entering what should be the last week of flower now. From what i read this strain has about 7-8 weeks of flower. Stopped giving nutes and only PHed water to flush her out a bit. Most of the tricomes seems to have gotten a milky color. Still a couple clear once and I saw a couple turning amber colored. 3 of the tops have really gotten a beating from growing to close to the light and are dried out on one side. Nothing much to do with that unfortunately. Removed the dried leaves close to the light, so i dont risk fire in the tent. 01.12 - Day 98 - Flower 53 - Gonna give her an other day or two before harvest. Will probably be a bit early harvest, but its got to be done this week because of Christmas. She's really smelly now and having issues with air leakage somewhere so apartment is starting to stink up. Had to move the tent to get the airflow out of the apartment. The issue with the room she's in now is that there isn't any propper ventilation out, so had to do it through a window, but that results in cold air getting in. Been around 13 degrees during lights-off time. Managed to isolate a bit and raise the temp a few degrees, but still not optimal.
