Decided to plant a Purple Kush auto by Seeds Genetics. Started it directly in a mix of coco, perlite, earthworm castings, and mycorrhizae.
I started it in a small container the size of a solo cup and plan on repotting her into a one-gallon pot by the time she has 3-4 nodes. Then when she has her true leaves, seven fingered leaves, I'll repot her into her final home. 3-gallon pots.
I'm keeping the medium damp and have it covered with a dome. Hoping to see her sprout soon!
I repotted her into a one-gallon fabric pot with a mixture of coco, perlite, earthworm castings, and mycorrhizae. Before putting her into the pot, I sprinkled some Great White all over her roots to ensure vigorous growth. I gave her her first full-strength feeding and she should do great. Another month and I'll move her into her final home. A 3-gallon fabric pot.
Transitioned her to full nutes and she's loving it. She's taking on nice growth spurts and will soon have her 7 leaf sets. She loves being in her one gallon fabric pot and gets watered twice a day with a pH of 5.5-5.8.
She's growing beautifully at a rate of 1/4"-1/2" per day. She's strong and vigorous and was starting to reach the CFL so I had to order a Viparsceptra P1000 to have more room in my small tent (2x2x4). It'll offer me better, full-spectrum lighting which is also dimmable and uses good diodes with reds thrown in too. I'm expecting to see her grow even taller as she threw herself into flower. She's come to be a beast of a plant and I can't wait to see what she does when she's full-on flowering.
She's a very hardy grower and ever since she's been under the Viparspectra XS1000, she's been taking off. She had a nitrogen toxicity due to her being on veg nutes too long during the transition phase. I've been watering her with just water and no nutes for a couple of days, pH'ed to 6.0 to flush her out before reintroducing her full bloom nutes. I'm also adding some Snow Storm Ultra for the first time to see what it'll do for trichome production and frost.
