Germination

The seeds were soaked in a glass of water, then placed in damp cotton pads. The bison seed was very large and sprouted instantly, almost immediately after it an amethyst sprouted. The tomahawks lingered a bit, but they also sprouted. This time I chose root riot as the first substrate, then I will move all plants to coco, last time it worked great.

End of the first week of growing season. Started adding nutrients from FloraFlex. I do not know what caused the yellow spot on the leafe. Last time there were no problems at this stage. Perhaps this is the wrong PH. I added less nutrients than indicated in the instructions. I hope for your help in grow questions (

Yesterday I watered with fertilizers. The dosage is 0.8 grams per liter. PS in the area of 5.5. The instructions say 4 grams per gallon. 1 gallon = 4.55 liters. Everything seems to be correct, so I do not understand what the problem might be.

Mi humilde opinión es que las plantas aún están muy jóvenes para fertilizantes. El amarillo puede ser clorosis del agua. No parecen estar quemadas por exceso de nutrientes ni tampoco creo que sea falta de nutriente, son muy chicas aún.

In general, everything is going well, but I am dissatisfied with the fertilizers from floraflex, there are absolutely no trace elements in this, but they contain a horse dose of nitrogen and potassium, so my plants are now deficient in magnesium. Had to order regular magnesium sulfate to add to basic fertilizers. I also started adding the ghe micro that I used last time.

Good time of day, dear readers. I broked I broke one branch of main-lining bush. Accept to get a congratulations! Otherwise everything is going well, bushes are growing fast. On the advice of one man, I took a chance of adding the full dose of nutrients. And to my surprise plants liked it. The clone have been took a roots a couple of days after being transplant into a coco coir. So I will not have 5 bushes, but 6 🤤 Another one is in the nutrients solution, but I don’t have any place for it.. AND SOMETHING ELSE. Just on this week I understood that I don’t need calibrate ph before adding nutrients, how it was with GHE. Flora Flex automatically adjusts the ph to the normal level. Apparently it was the reason for the spots on the leaves..

Hi. Unfortunately, I can't write much, I even left last week without comment, although the plants got stressed on it in the form of a lack of water. I increased the amount of watering. This week, the bushes have already become noticeably cramped, I cannot transfer them to flowering for technical reasons, besides, the clone has not grown enough yet. I very much hope that the bushes will not get another stress from the crowding and I will soon be able to change mode to 12/12

Well .. I was not at home for 3 weeks, during which time the bushes turned into a jungle, I did not think that in indoor pots they could reach this size. I set up the grid and cut off almost all the leaves and branches that are below it, probably even overdone it. In the process, several branches bent, but did not break. It can be considered that he did supercropping, but this was necessary, since the bushes were very tall. Now I will wait a week for the branches to recover and the plants to come to their senses after such severe stress and transfer to flowering. True, I am afraid that during flowering the bushes will reach the lamps, it will not be possible to lower them below, and the lamps are as high as possible. Let's see what happens ..

Since I was not at home again for two weeks, no one trained the plants, they almost touch the lamps. One cola got burned, I put it aside, I don't think it will grow into a good bud. My huge mistake is that I kept the bushes for too long in the growing season, again due to the fact that I was not at home. Now in the awning there is catastrophically little space for them, some branches have not even bloomed, since they do not see the light. When I arrived, some of the leaves below were dried up, apparently due to a lack of light, the plant got rid of them, as well as some branches. As for a bush with a spoiled main-lining. It is the worst of all .. one half will have to get rid of completely, since the branches do not even touch the first grid of the skrog and they will not grow higher.

Hello. I have noticed that the buds under the long lamp stretch out because they receive too much light, while the plants under the small lamp do not receive enough light. Nevertheless, the amethyst looks the best, the tomahawk is in second place, the bison breath practically does not gain weight.

Hello. This week I cut off the "fox's tail" from the amethyst, because I noticed that after cutting off another bush, the cone did not stretch so much, it began to grow in breadth. By the way, amethyst is no longer my favorite, tomahawk cones gain weight much more, while amethyst cones are somehow loose and almost all are subject to "fox tails", even those that are not directly under the lamp. I think if I had not made the main mistake, namely the growth of the bushes to such a size, then the tomahawk would have shown crazy results. The bison's breath is still not gaining weight, but the buds look beautiful. Neat, small and tight. Another problem - the mold on the clone began to grow strongly in the pot. Apparently it is already at the roots, because when I removed the top layer of the soil I noticed a white shiny coating under it. Before that, I had already watered the plant with a preparation containing a hay stick, but I did not notice the effect of it. Today I prepared a similar solution, but more effective, I will treat all the bushes with it in 5 days. I also wiped the outside of the pot with a solution of potassium permanganate. By the way, Happy New Year)

Can you please tell me how to deal with fox tails and increase the density of cones? Removing from the light will not work.

Congratulations on your 2nd grow!! You tent is packed from wall to wall and you did a great job so far. About foxtail and density: welcome to the world of genetic and pheno hunting! Most of the times, when you buy cannabis from a dispensary or the black market, expect that the growers did some work and research to bring you an exciting product. Reason for that is genetic and phenotype. All germinated seeds will grow a different plant sharing some characteristic of their parents. Finding the one that grows hard buds, with dank smell, awesome colour, high THC, high resistance to stress, heavy yielder, great effects, require some research, work, or sometimes Luck. It is normal to get the results you get, despite a few tricks can improve your harvest. 1- start with premium genetics. Read reviews, do some research, talk to other growers. 2- strong light. You are a little bit on the limit with your setup. 450w would be just fine for a 4x4. Growing in a 5x5 in much more square foot to cover (16sqft vs 25...) You might want to get an other light. 3- following a VPD chart. 4- having proper air exchange, airflow, (CO2 supplement, in a closed setup) 5- plants health, avoiding any deficiency or nutrient excess 6- having an even canopy, using training techniques.

Hey! Very soon harvest, I think in about two weeks, so I started adding the final part of the floraflex, but ran into a problem with the watering schedule. The pots take a long time to dry, so I won't be able to fully fertilize according to the schedule. You will have to sacrifice one irrigation of fertilizers in order to rinse the soil well with clean water. Also this week I accidentally bent and removed a few weak buds under the mesh of an amethyst. In addition, for several weeks now I have noticed that the leaves are turning black and drying up at the bottom of all the bushes, I think this is due to mold (rot) in the pots. This is the biggest problem after growing too long => too close to the bulbs. Although one flowed from the other. I also noticed that forced supercropping RIGHT before flowering in one of the tomahawks not only did not harm the inflorescences, but also made them huge (see photo), even though there is not enough light in this part of the tent. And in the other part there is too much of it and the cones get fox tails. Bison breath does not change, all the same small inflorescences. If you read this far, write, what do you think, how many grams can I get from all the bushes?🧐 Thank you for reading my crooked translation with Google Translate

Hello. This is the last week of flowering and I have already harvested. I decided not to flush the soil, it would take a lot of time, which I didn't have because of the drying leaves, which could cause the buds to dry out. The only thing I did was turn off the lights for 3 days and didn't water the plants for about 6 days. At the end of the "darkness" I found mold in the form of foam on a dry branch, when I examined the mold cones, I did not find it. I will post the harvest when I weigh the dry buds.
