As the water evaporates from the nutrient mix, even low EC can turn hazardous for the plant, especially if it doesn't have time to absorb any of the salts in said mix. Lets say you have one drop of water on top of the plant @0,5EC, and as that drop evaporates you will end up with 1EC when half the drop is left, 2EC when half of that half is left, 4EC etc... Just aim for the soil when you water, and let the soil dry up some before adding more water. GL with the grow! 👊😁
