Day 35: blowing up. increased nutes from about 1000 to 1500 a few days ago + added 1ml camg for good measure and showing no signs of over nutrition. Retrained. Noticed some PM. Sprayed with neem on branches and leaves. also pre-treated other plants in tent. 1 tsp neem, 0.5 tsp soap, 1 L water. Did a very very heavy defol due to the PM. Set dehum from 55% to 50%. Added oscillating floor fan. Retrained.
Day 37: last feeding at 1250 seems too low for half the plants in my tent. Upping to about 1400. Re-tied down some stems. No signs of PM at all. Sprayed with h2o2 though just to be safe. Watered. Got new drain trays.
Day 41: re-training daily now. Reacting very well to about 1500 EC. Run off is still low, but higher than before. Going to raise it a little bit more to get it going before flower. Been spraying every other day with H2O2/H2O. Still no signs of PM. Sprayed with second treatment of neem oil. Growing faster now. Started having to loop around the main stem with LST. Going to be about a 8 week veg time for this guy because of the PM. Probably would have switched by now if it wasn't for the PM. Gives my other non-clones time to catch up.
Day 42: first day of 12/12. Plants will only receive 12hrs of light today. Removed any red lst trainers in anticipation for stretch. Left the wire tied ones alone. Fed at about 1700. With R/O water my pH has actually been staying "perfect". I was using the system with tap before and would always have to adjust it a bit with ph up/down. The company recommends r/o water for a reason. Still no signs of PM and it's been over a week. Did a second spray of neem oil yesterday regardless. Looks great. Already did a heavy defol. a week ago so I think I'll be straight going into flower. I'll defol in a few weeks once the colas are noticable.
Day 44: grew over night. Crazy. Responding well to 12/12. Some stems broke free from their LST wires and I had to retrain. Need to keep them short. This is definitely my tallest plant and I'm trying to keep the canopy even.
Day 54: some very light defoliation. Dehum stopped working over night a few days ago. Woke up and tent was like 68% RF. No bueno. Dried it out and sprayed with some neem. Still no signs of PM. Stretching and drinking more water. Very lanky/sativa plant. Would do great with SCROG but one other plant in my tent is 90% Indica and that makes it hard to have an even canopy. Oh well. Preflowers are showing.
Day 55: pretty heavy defoliation. Neem'd. Still no PM and it's been a few weeks so I think I am in the clear. Will keep up w/ H2O2. FIRST DAY BLOOM NUTES (per 1 gal R/O): 10mL Sensi Coco Bloom A + 10mL Sensi Coco Bloom B + 2mL Bud Candy = 1500 EC. Been so thirsty. Looked like I didn't even water it yesterday. Will water em double tomorrow and check R/O. Looking good.
Day 58: very heavy defoliation. Cut off some thick bottom branches that would never receive any light and trimmed all the branches. Took some time. Responding fine to nutes, no deficiencies or excess. Looking lanky still. Some pre-flowers are obvious. Maybe the size of a pea but obvious. Added BB after about a week of using just Bloom a/b + BC. Running out to about 1600 in r/o and 1850 in tap. Run off is about the same as input EC. Looking good.
Day 63: sad day. Saw signs on PM on some leaves that were facing the corner. It has been a while since I rotated them. Glad I didn't attempt SCROG on this round. Going to have to go out of town later this month which means I will probably have to device some sort of watering system sooner than later. Only watered yesterday (first time since grow haha, was feeling lazy). Fed a bit more today (like 1750->1850). Sprayed all of the plants profusely with hydrogen peroxide mix. It's been almost a month since I've seen any PM and I stopped spraying weeks ago. Happy that it is only showing up on this plant and not the others. Going to be aggro with H2O2 until harvest. I think the heavy defoliation I did a few days ago stressed it out and that's why the PM resurfaced.
Day 65: set up an automatic irrigation system using a cheap pump off Amazon and a 10gal bucket. I mixed 5 gals of nutes (almost 2 days worth, they use about 3 gal a day for all 4 plants) just to try it out. The pump needs to run for at least 40 minutes and the max duration is 15 so that makes my life a little harder. I set it for 5 minutes, 6 x a day after doing a flow test. (5 min = about .4gal water). Hard to tell if it's getting any run off so I just changed it to 10 minutes 4x a day. My saucers are almost full from watering them so much yesterday so I'm worried I'll give them too much water and not realize until the next morning when my tent is flooded lol. Sprayed down again with H2O2. Noticed maybe a handful of leaves with tiny spots. Trimmed those off but looks much better. Neem seemed to work better but can't really use that 3 weeks into flower. Looking great at about 1750 ppm (per gal: 10mL A/10mL B/ 3mL Big Bud/ 3mL Bud Candy in R/O (comes out to about 6.0-6.2pH).
Day 68: a friend recommended using Mammoth CannaControl on the PM. I did a foliar spray (10mL/Liter) about 2 hours before lights off on all the plants. Will do a light soil feed too in a few days if they respond well. More defoliation. Buds are getting thiiic.
Day 72: chillin. No PM (only been a few days but yay). Will respray with mammoth in a few days. Will treat it for another 2 weeks and stop. Pretty much fully defoliated now. Waiting on new watering halos. Irrigation system is working great. Had to exchange the pump bc the old one was broken and would only use batteries so they died after a week. Still weak flow on one plant but I'm hoping the new halos/irrigation lay out will fix it. Run off EC was same as input which is great. Will lower EC by 50-100 with next reservoir change (4-5 days from today). Tips are showing very minor nute burn from over a week ago I think.
Day 91: came back from a trip and this dude was falling over. Guess I went too crazy with FIMing. Buds aren't honestly that big. Honestly a little worried that it won't get as much light now because of it drooping. Noticed my clones buds aren't as big as my seeds. Watered them up real good. Tied a trellis to keep it from toppling over. Stopping feed and Canncontrol in prep for flush/harvest in about 2 weeks. Smells like straight gas.
I really can't stand the diesel smell to this. It comes off as chemical-ly to me and it is unpleasant. I hope it turns out smelling better after cure. This guy kinda sucked to trim just because of the sugar leaves. This clone was the one that actually brought PM into my grow tent so I can't say that it is disease resistant. I did not see any PM during harvest at all but still did an h2o2 wet bath trim. Hung the plant up directly in front of a fan for a few hours to dry. I over trained this plant and too many branches = weak branches = this plant literally toppled over in week 10. It was tragic. I had to prop it up the last 2 weeks. Buds look good though.
